She found home within. Then love walked through the door.
She walked away from the marriage, the fame, and the life everyone thought she wanted. Dolores Catherine Paiz left The ACE Family with nothing but faith in her own heart, unsure if love would ever find her again.
On a trip to Brazil, she met Igor, a man whose presence felt like destiny. What began as an instant, soul-deep connection blossomed into a love that was steady, healing, and real—the kind that stayed, the kind that held her when the world fell apart.
Returning to Los Angeles, Catherine faced her greatest transformation building a new life rooted in trust, family, and purpose. Together, she and Igor learned that true love isn’t about perfection; it’s about peace, partnership, and choosing each other every day.
This is her story of leaving everything behind to discover that home was within her all along…and love was waiting just outside the door.
The first book was way better. I'm happy for Catherine and her happy ending. However, all I got out of this book is:
1. Catherine hears voices (a lot) 2. She found her soulmate
and it was repetitive because it told the same scene from both her and Igor's perspective. I feel like this book could have been a few chapters as a happy ending to her other book
the whole book is about Catherine hearing voices and everything is a sign… Also, very repetitive because of Igor’s POV on the same moments she already talked about. I am glad for her sake and that she finally had her happy ending, but please…🥲
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I generally like stories that are rich in symbolism and hidden meanings, and this one definitely had that. However, at times it felt like the author was almost forcing the symbolism a bit too much - like she was actively searching for deeper meaning in everything. That said, I do understand it, because it clearly reflects her way of thinking, and in that sense it still works.
The overall vibe of the book was very positive and warm, which I genuinely appreciated. It was a pleasant read, and emotionally it left me with good feelings. The only thing that didn’t fully work for me was that some parts - especially at the beginning - felt a little repetitive. Certain situations were described multiple times, just from Igor’s perspective, and that made listening to it feel a bit boring and unnecessary at moments.
In the end, though, I still think it’s a good book, especially because it has a happy ending, which really ties everything together nicely. Personally, I preferred the first book more - but that might be because it dealt with heavier trauma and darker themes, which, sadly, tend to make stories more engaging and emotionally gripping.
Still, despite its flaws, this book was enjoyable and definitely worth the read.

This book was a letdown compared to the first. It felt like the same story was being told over and over again from different perspectives, with very little actually happening. The pacing was slow, the symbolism was overused, and the story felt unnecessarily stretched. While I was happy that Catherine found love, this book could have been much better.
i’m sorry i know this is a memoir and i can’t like bash someone’s experiences but this was kind of a nauseating read EVERYTHING is symbolic, everything is meant to be it was a bit much she got her period on her wedding day and was like “this is a sign he’s the one” “my bird died on my great aunts hairdressers birthday, i couldn’t believe the symbolism” like come on i didn’t care for the dual perspectives of both igor and catherine. like idk igor, idc about his perspective it felt more like a shared book of their love for each other that should have been between them rather than a mass produced book. SORRY
I loved that I did witness most of the moments in this book on her snapchat, I saw them in a different light when I heard the meanings and stories behind them. There’s a comfort in knowing that you can start over stronger, happier, and more grounded, and that’s what Cathrine’s story taught me.
im incredible happy for catherine & her family. i've seen a lot of reviews that commented on her seeing *everything* as a sign. while it is a little much, i can't deny that i also love to see signs as confirmation for things. often times, especially when going through hardship, i want to see some type of sign that helps me know that i'm going in the right direction (or not). i don't believe in coincidences.

I didn’t enjoy this one as much as I did the first book. In her first book, Catherine showed so much growth that went beyond just a romantic relationship. It focused more on her relationships with her family and most importantly herself growing up. The relationship aspect played a much smaller role, which allowed her personal growth to really stand out.
This second book, on the other hand, leaned much more heavily into her romantic relationship. At times it felt repetitive, especially with chapters being told from both Catherine’s and Igor’s perspectives. A lot of the same moments were retold from the other point of view, which made parts of the book drag for me.
There were still some moments I enjoyed, especially the idea of love finding you when you’re not even looking for it, after a relationship that didn’t work out. That said, the spiritual aspect of this book felt like it took over a lot of the story and pulled focus away from her actual experiences. I understand that she’s in a very different spiritual place now, and that likely influenced how this book was written, but as a reader, I found myself wanting more depth in other areas.
I really wanted to hear more about how she navigated her divorce, a career, parenting, and bringing her kids into a new relationship. Those moments were touched on briefly, but I wish they had been explored more instead of just getting “everything just worked out”. I also think I would’ve enjoyed the book more if it stayed in Catherine’s perspective. Igor’s chapters while insightful didn’t add much for me. I wanted more of her journey and how she was adjusting to this new chapter of life.
Overall, this wasn’t a favorite for me, but I’m glad she seems to be in a better place now and found her authentic self.
Catherine Paiz emerges from heartbreak and emotional turmoil and begins the journey of rediscovering who she truly is. Through unexpected connection and vulnerability, she opens herself up to the possibility of real love, learning what healthy partnership and mutual respect actually feel like. The story captures the beautiful tension between healing old wounds and allowing yourself to hope again. It’s about choosing growth, self-worth, and authenticity while building a love that feels safe and genuine.
I had been eagerly waiting for Part 2 of Paiz’s story ever since finishing Part 1, and I was not disappointed 🥹 Her first book focused on her family, upbringing, and climb to fame. This installment shifts into a much more intimate space, exploring what it means to find love after heartbreak and truly understand the spiritual connection between herself and her soulmate. It’s tender, reflective, and rooted in self-discovery, healing, and trusting the journey back to love.
I loved that this part felt poetic, and had alternating perspectives between Catherine and her husband, Igor. It added an entirely new layer of depth getting to see how their story unfolded through Igor’s eyes as well. Catherine and Igor truly feel like an example of real, intentional love, and it honestly convinced me that soulmates exist and that love knows no distance or bounds. 🥹
“Believe in magic, Dolores. Because it’s real.” This quote perfectly captures the heart of Dolores: Home at Last.
If you follow Catherine Paiz on social media, much of the foundation of this book will feel familiar — it’s deeply rooted in her real life, her healing, and her journey toward finally finding peace and home. But what makes this book special is how much more it gives beyond what we see online.
Igor has a strong presence throughout the book, and I loved getting the deeper, more intimate look into their love story — the parts that don’t make it to social media. Catherine shares how their relationship truly came to be, the timing, the growth, and the emotional layers behind it all.
If you’re into spirituality, trusting the universe, and the belief that what’s meant for you will always find its way to you, this book will really resonate. It’s reflective, heartfelt, and comforting — a reminder that sometimes, after everything, you really do end up exactly where you’re supposed to be.
I had so much expectations from this book, I really liked the first part and has so many expectations from this one but this was not very good. first of all she is one hell of a spiritual being every single little thing that happens is a sign to her it came a point where all of it started to become a little unbelievable. The second this is told in both Catherine's and igor's perspective and every incident is told by both of them and it became a bit repetitive, I would have loved if they talked about different things and experiences. The one part I really loved is igor's experience of moving to LA and adapting to the new surroundings, people and relations. All in all I am very happy she found her person and is happy in life but the book was disappointing.
I actually think I preferred this book way more over the first one. While it did too include a lot of reliance on faith and “meant to be”, I enjoyed the story way more as it was a story that hadn’t been shared to the public and fans as much as the story with Austin. The first book did include many details that were left behind the scenes and weren’t shown to the public but we still had an idea of what moments she was referring to based on videos and stories. With this book, her story with Igor was kept very private and therefore all of the details in this book were devoured by the public freshly and for the first time. Overall, a good read and an interesting insight into her new life.
felt like it was super repetitive with igor's pov reiterating what was said. his part also didn't really focus on anything except catherine. it wouldve been nice to know ab him beyond just cathering- ambitions, conflicts (internal/ external), etc.
i also felt like the random connections w the synchronicities were a little bit far fetched. like if you look hard enough theres always an invisible string, but doesn't mean in reality, it exists.
first book had significantly more substance than this, this honestly could have been compiled into one
Whenever I need a reminder to have faith I read Catherine’s books. She is the embodiment of love and fight and hardship yet what comes out of it is so beautiful- just like this book. If anyone is feeling lost or afraid or hurt, I urge you to read this book. Maybe you will find yourself or your faith like me and so many others, or maybe the hopeful story will make you feel hope and light again. Whatever it is, I hope you find it.
1/5 ⭐️ 📖 Book one was a much stronger read for me. I really enjoyed learning about Catherine’s background, her upbringing, and everything she experienced before joining the ACE family and getting divorced. In comparison, book two focused mostly on Catherine and Igor’s faith and wedding planning, which personally didn’t hold my attention as much.
This was a cute follow up to her 1st book- it goes into how she met her current husband and that journey. It also is dual perspective between her and him. I really enjoyed her 1st book more since that was more her childhood and her fame on YouTube but this one was good to kinda round things off and get us to present day.
The love story in this was cute, but we pretty much just got the same story from two different perspectives and it didn't feel like there was a whole lot happening. After Part 1, I expected a little more but it was still an enjoyable and fairly quick listen.
I want to give it 5 starts because I love Catherine so much, but I do think it was repetitive. I accidentally read this one before her first book. Igor’s POV was always a repeat of the same incidents, moments, that was just told from Cathy’s POV.
The book is a beautiful love story. I almost wondered why share something so beautiful and sacred. Although it was a beautiful story… I found it very repetitive since there were two POVs.
Was it beautiful? yes! Would I have have missed anything if I didn’t read it? No!
Dolores: Home at Last gave me all the soulmate chills. The signs, the timing, the connection—absolutely beautiful. 🎧💖 Loved this on Audible. Every sign was a step toward destiny!
