I loved the idea of the story line so much. The first 2 books were well done and kept a good pace. This one just fell kind of short for me. The story for Mary was well though throw but not executed well. The story stalls and then is very hard to get through. The last 4 chapters or so give a great ending to this. I was hoping for so much more from this book. Will continue to read Kate Seger and the rest of this series.
The series is really spectacular. I loved Mary as a character, she almost is like a mix of our first two main characters, one of which is her mother. She had the attributes to bring balance again. But it was nice that she ended up getting her happy ending with Patrick
