Hanna Hamilton has been fascinated with the Regency era ever since she was a young teen, first discovering historical romance novels by famous authors such as Jane Austen and Lisa Kleypas. She believes that love was just so much more magical back then, more like a fairy tale. She always daydreamed about finding love herself that way, but since that is impossible in the twenty-first century, she decided to write about it instead!

Born in Texas, Hanna Hamilton obtained a degree in Creative Writing and has worked as a literature teacher before becoming a novelist. When she isn’t writing, Hanna likes to explore the countryside with her husband and two children, gaining inspiration from the natural world around her.

So, come on a journey into love, confusion, and redemption all within the Regency era. Hanna hopes that you will enjoy immersing yourself into her novels and that you too will find a love for old-fashioned romance, just as she has.

Five stars if the multitude of errors were corrected

This was a very good book with a rather shocking number of grammatical errors, misspellings, and omitted words. I read the ARC version of this book and hope the errors were corrected before it went live. Sebastian had had a difficult life as the forgotten spare heir of a duke. Isabel was just barely surviving a family scandal when Sebastian swept into her life in a dramatic rescue that was unfortunately witnessed by gossips of the Ton. They married and grew to be friends until her scandal reappeared with another scheme to perpetuate. Isabel and Sebastian were appealing characters, despite their conflicting emotions, the protective walls they built, and the way they felt undeserving of love. Without the excessive errors in the book (which also extend into the online epilogue) this book was five stars.

“The Beastly Duke’s Christmas Bride” by Hanna Hamilton

-A tender holiday romance where a protective duke rescues Isabel from danger and shields her from scandal. I received a free copy and am voluntarily sharing my honest thoughts.

Their marriage of necessity slowly warms into trust and affection as past wounds and family disgrace linger. Sebastian’s rough upbringing and Isabel’s quiet strength make their journey heartfelt and deeply engaging. The side characters add a lot to this enjoyable story.

A Ball/A Mistake/A Rescue/…

Lady Isabel is left to herself at her home living very sparingly..A ball where she is ridiculed leaves her to leave early but trouble with the coach leaves her in a very bad neighborhood & she is stranded…
Duke Sebastian happens along to help & two days later he proposes.
Secrets abound with him plus she has a family secret that most people know about. And love is a long way away..

a duke, a fierce street urchin all in one

Isabel and her parent’s reputation, in ruins because of her narcissistic brother. Sebastian, unloved by his father, deserted by him and his brother, when his mother died in a carriage accident. Providence brings the two together, but Sebastian doesn’t know how to love, not really having experienced it. All of this makes it easy for her brother to deceive her and go after Sebastian’s money. But there’s still a HEA.

I liked this novel about two insecure individuals forced to marry. Both were strong characters who had suffered in their personal lives. I enjoyed watching Isabel and Sebastian grow closer to each other and realize their love for each other.
