Snow,

Yes, I loved Royal, but there was no coming back from what he did. He cheated in our bed with my best friend using MY fucking vibrator.

Some shit was just unforgivable. So I left him with her and went right back home. Unfortunately, staying with my mother seemed like it was doing more harm than good. She was still doing drugs and still willing to sell anything to buy it. I needed an out, and becoming a surrogate was that for me.

Chaotic

This one gave me whiplash because there was so much happening. You ever read a story and you’re entertained but you wish there was more to it? That’s what this book is for me because it has the bones of something I’d love but it felt like the author was just throwing stuff in for shock value at times. The pacing threw me off a few times, the decisions the characters were making gave me a headache but I was still throughly entertained. I’m not sure when I’ll be back over here but when I’m craving something chaotic and fun I’ll find my way back.

This was so entertaining and so bad. The first 80% of the book reads like an outline of a promising book. There are good plot points that needed to be heavily expanded upon, but overall it was intriguing. Now, around 80%, this book turns into a Lifetime movie. Spoilers ahead because I just have to talk about how this book shifts from a man (Cane) and woman (Snow) trying to figure out how to navigate pregnancy and life after a fertility clinic mixup to Cane bleeding out in a hospital bed while his wife gives his brother head less than 10 feet away.

So we go through this very fast-paced story of them finding out she’s accidentally pregnant because of a mistake, falling in love, blah blah blah… then boom. He has a wife. Not only does he have a wife, but he has a bitch for a mother too. They all try to convince her to get an abortion in her second trimester, and not even a whole chapter later, we are having a gender reveal.

Anyway, that’s not important. What is important is that Cane moves Snow into the same house as his wife. The wife (Olivia) hates Snow. She hates that Cane loves her and then tries to convince her to abort the twins again. Anywayyyyyy…. A lot of nothing happens (Cane and Snow fuck constantly. Snow tries to convince Cane to stay with his wife even though he says he doesn’t love her anymore. We jump from 18 weeks pregnant to 30 weeks pregnant in a matter of 3 chapters, then all hell breaks loose)

Cane decides he is going to ask Olivia for a divorce. She’s obviously mad. She talks about how she’s had threesomes and does other sexual things against her better judgement just to keep him. We as the readers learn (through her POV) that she has been having sex with Cane’s brother for years. Cane isn’t budging and is insisting on a divorce. Olivia grabs a gun and decides she’s just going to kill Snow and the twins. Cane tries to stop her and he is shot in the process. He’s rushed to the hospital and long story short he lives. Olivia tries to convince Snow, the cops, and the brother that he was shot by accident when she was trying to leave him and he wouldn’t allow her to go. Olivia also tells Snow that Cane is dead and it sends her into early labor. Shortly after, Cane wakes up from his life saving surgery to his wife sucking off his brother, and it was literally so funny because he couldn’t care any less. He was just looking for Snow. The truth comes out soon about the early labor and how Olivia is really the reason everyone is in the hospital. Cane goes to the maternity wing of the hospital to be with Snow (who becomes his new wife at the end of the book) and their twin boys. A few hours later, Olivia goes to the brother’s house thinking he will forgive her once he’s cooled down. She walks in on him giving head to a trans woman, and when he sees her, the brother shoots her.

Wild right….

Again. The last 80% of the book was an entire separate lifetime movie shoved into this book. Things got crazy, and I don’t think the book needed any of that. The pacing of this entire book was off, the grammatical errors were EVERYWHERE, and while the book held my attention, it reminded me of something written by a middle school student on Wattpad. The story itself had a lot of potential, but ugh, this just did not deliver.

And another thing… every sex scene was trash.

Now I have to go find another “fertility clinic mix up” book that can scratch the itch this one left behind.

Daddy Problems

You know what, this was a chaotic mess 😩

This was a Jane the Virgin situation without the virgin lol. Snow is fresh out a disloyal relationship and is using surrogacy to fund her way forward. That is until ish goes awry and she has to decide if she is ready to change her life drastically and take on the added responsibility. When Cane stepped on the scene he was both hilarious and crazy. I didn't know what to make of him. Despite him being a damn fool, I liked him. His "situation" made no sense to me like at all, ain't nobody salvaging a relationship after that. Then he owns a law firm, when? The random interactions with his family and her mother?? Whew this needed editing bad it was like let's throw this in here, add this on for more shock value, and stir 😩 I actually liked the plot, but there was too much going on and the pacing was all over the place.

Sn: I loved the cover, and I do think it was an accurate depiction of Cane.

This book started off so strong. I was giddy with the amount of mess that took place. The drama, betrayal, bad luck and more kept me glued to the pages. I was rooting for the FMC and just really wanted her to win. There were a couple of instances where I thought to myself, now girl(talking to the FMC) is there something you're forgetting? But I let her rock because she was just trying her best. But when I got to like 85% and things took an overly dramatic turn, I got super frustrated. I mean, I still enjoyed the overall story, but it the circumstances definitely made me side eye everything. I hate to talk in code but no spoilers. I recommend reading it if you want a quick blood pressure spike. But don't say I didn't warn you that you may give major side ye by the end.

entertaining

This book gave me the feeling got back in high school when reading urban book. Idk why the writing style and layout gave a juvenile if that makes sense. Or maybe and early 2000's feel. Anyway I really enjoyed this book

I had passed over this read so many times. However, when the reviews started coming in from my Goodreads ladies, I had to check it out. Now, I was not expecting to have as good of a time as I did with this read. I mean I hollered from beginning to end. Miss Snow was catching hell at every turn, trying to get her life together. But when she met Cane, I thought awww hell!! 😮🤣

What man goes through all that to track the woman down, and just insert himself into her life like that? Cane, that's who! This man was wild as hell, and I was ready for the foolishness. Or so I thought. 👀 Just when Snow got used to Cane's smothering presence, her world turned on its head! 🤯 At 48% when I read what showed up on Cane's phone, I screamed just like Snow! The hell??? IKYFL!! 🤬 Then he tried to smooth that ish over like it ain't a big deal! Sir, are you cool? 👀😤

Then the absurdity continued as the story went from zero to hell right quick! I just couldn't believe what I was reading, while laughing, but didn't stop reading. 🤣🤣🤣 Olivia's audacity blew me away! Ma'am how did you keep that under wraps for five years! Then still showing yo ass with Cane! 😮 This read was hella entertaining, however, I have a question or two. What type of firm is Cane running to be under Snow all the damn time? Making the kind of money he was dishing out? Diamond? Uhhhh.... what's up sir? Do tell! Lawd, this story is going to stay with me. I just can't stop giggling! 🤣

I knew it

When the story began, I could feel the hidden undertone. I knew what was on the surface was not the actual story. It was too neat to be 'the real story.' What comes out later, I expected. The love story part was sweet and sad. The mix up at the lab isn't clear to me. I'm a thinker and strategist, so something was missing. And maybe I'm making more out of the details than needed. But, in general, the story was good.

I went in this book blindly and absolutely enjoyed.

Towards the end, it felt a little “questionable” for me (particularly Olivia) BUT…

The overall storyline, chemistry, and spice carried the book well.

Definitely recommend the book and the author.

We’re introduced to Snow as she walks in on her boyfriend and bestie are fucking… using HER SEX TOYS!!! If that wasn’t diabolical enough he slides out of the exbesties coodamaa bear hugs her while said ex besties coochie juice is dripping off the 🍆!!! This situation causes her to take matters into her own hands and attempts to surrogate only to find out the fertility clinic went uh oh with her eggos?!!! Let’s not get started on Cane. You out here falling in love with your surrogate and you not being upfront about your life????SIR!!!! This was a messy good time. I ate this up.

Straight Pressure

Cane is nothing but pressure. No filter, no cares. He's going to say whatever in front of whoever. How you gonna make her have your babies like she has no say. Please explain to me how you wanted the entire cake when your wife had all the rights to you. That Heffa's mouth was reckless me being pregnant or not, she would've caught it. His momma too. He was serious about caring for Snow and his unborns. Together they were toxic but in a way that worked out for only them. Olivia was real foul, for a long time. I enjoyed how their lust turned into love and love beyond their unborn. Couldn't be me tho. All in the wife's space. She being sarcastic and all. Nah!! Loved it.

I truly desire you!

This probably the funniest and most craziest book I’ve ever read and I enjoyed it! Cane was Delusional with a capital D baby.😂😂 Snow got mishandled so much by those around her but I was glad she had Imani. Cane was good to her but his big little secret crushed her and took her back to a bad place. He did however get it right at the end with help from his confused brother Diamond. Poor Livi just lost her mind and went crazy. This is my first Tiffany G book but definitely not my last.

Read it and loved it! I did see a lot of comments about this book being “unrealistic” but personally, I don’t see what’s so unrealistic about it when I actually know someone who went through this exact same situation! ( no guns tho lol) Though yes it was a short read. It was very action packed snow definitely needed a backbone, lol but it was an enjoyable read. Can’t wait to go through your catalog.

This book was an interesting read and kept me entertained. But towards the end I was like wth is happening? I felt like it was like a dog with zoomies.. “I’m dead… I’m alive.. I’m dead.. I’m alive again” like whaaa is happening. Olivia sleeping with the brother .. the brother caught sucking a trans woman.. if the book was longer we could’ve gotten a back story of the outrageous scenes.. like when the affair started with his brother from the brother’s POV. What happened to the mother during the period when Cane got shot? Towards the end, some scenes didn’t transition seamlessly. If it was more pages, I believe we could’ve built up to those scenes. Plots were introduced but didn’t have a proper close out.

RN: Olivia had some nerve though.. she was complaining about Snow taking her man but she was cheating on him the entire marriage! In fact, since their wedding night. Then she tries to kill snow.. shot Cane in the process, and then again tries to off herself and snow..I was like she needs to sit on someone’s couch.. but too late now she gone.. after Diamond got to her ahh. lol

Snow cared too much about what people thought of her. You were going to let someone convince you to kill your babies?! No ma’am. I can’t believe her mother asked her to give her father head for $20 though.. and it had to be her father because she said he was a spitting image of her. Smh! But this is what I mean by not finishing the story because what happened to the bakery?

Cane should’ve asked for a divorced soon as he felt himself falling in love with Snow. This man was spoiling her with Tiffany, Chanel, and all of the things. He knew he was falling then.

The book’s content was sooo good! I just felt like if it was more pages.. it would’ve taken this book to 4.0 instead of a 3.5.

This was like a 3.5/4. But like uh what did I just read? 😂

Seriously, if someone can explain. Because I don't even know what to say😅.

Okay, I will say this: it was spellbinding and a page turner for real!!!! I honestly could not stop reading because the plot twists were insane. And... because Cane was irresistible 🤪.

I love my twisted unhinged MMC and he gave that to the fullest. The title 'Daddy' is fitting😉😏. Because those spicy scenes were insane🔥🥵🌶️ lol He was overbearing with gifts, affection and being extremely territorial.

Also, the way the book started was insane lol This author is wild!!! No literally, anything goes lol

I gave it a lower rating because with a fast paced storyline some things became extremely unbelievable. And I was like "Really dawg? C'mon be for real!"😂😂

But because Tiffany had the ability to hold my attention to the end I had to let it go. Because that ending was wild and unbelievable lol 😂😂😂

(..I mean most of it was unbelievable but it was extremely entertaining so who cares lol! 🤣)

The scene with Diamond had me laughing out loud! I wasn't expecting that🤭. And Cane still trusted him? I'd cut him off after that betrayal.

In conclusion, this was a short story and like 20 million things happened but it flowed effortlessly from one scene to the next👍🏾. I usually hate dialogue but this dialogue felt like a movie script so it was super engaging. Highly recommended. I went in blind so you should too! 🤣

Daddy wastes no time pulling you into a situation fueled by betrayal, control, and nonstop tension. The emotional stakes are high from the start, and the book leans fully into the chaos without pretending to be subtle. I found myself reacting in real time, questioning everyone’s intentions, and side-eyeing just about every decision being made. It is one of those reads where the drama keeps stacking and you stay locked in just to see how much further it will go.

Snow is the emotional anchor of the story. She is placed in a position where everyone seems to have an opinion about her life and her choices, and watching her navigate that pressure was both frustrating and compelling. Her strength and growth are what kept me invested, especially when it felt like the people around her were more concerned with their own needs than her well-being.

Cane is complicated in a way that adds to the tension rather than resolving it. There are moments where his actions feel supportive and others where I had to side-eye him hard. The push and pull between the characters, combined with the constant escalation of conflict, makes this a messy, dramatic read that knows exactly what it is doing. If you like high-stakes drama with no chill, this one delivers.

3.5 stars. This story was hilarious from beginning to end. It was a nice quick read and certain aspects of erotica. Cane will have you cracking up cause what he says sounds like a joke but he’s dead a** and Snow had some messed up situations she was put in that wasn’t necessarily her fault. From her mama, her boyfriend to her best friend. I think everyone in this book is trifling AF lol except Snow. Snow is just slow and dumb. She also doesn’t ask enough questions. Even Cane was trifling. He really didn’t care but he also didn’t put his mama in her place and explain things to do so that pissed me off cause yall how old ppl are. I also felt like the ending was rushed and really came of nowhere with everything that happened... It was just wild. So many curveballs were thrown your way within the last 5-6 chapters. Either way, it’s a quick read that will have you cracking up cause I was.

Great Book!

Daddy was such a fast and addictive read! From the very beginning, the story pulled me in and kept me turning pages. The characters were funny, entertaining, and completely unexpected. Just when I thought I had someone figured out, they surprised me.
What I loved most was how unpredictable the story was. The plot was full of twists and turns that I never saw coming. Every time I thought I knew what was going to happen next, the author threw in another shock that left my mouth hanging open.
The suspense and drama kept me hooked until the very end.
If you're looking for a quick read with memorable characters, plenty of surprises, and a storyline that keeps you guessing, I definitely recommend Daddy. It was an entertaining ride from start to finish!

This book was hella entertaining but also had me constantly thinking WTF is happening?!! The way this book started kept me glued in. After a breakup, Snow needed money so she agreed to become a surrogate only to discover she had been inseminated rather than implanted, and now she’s pregnant with HER eggs and a stranger’s sperm.
From there, the story kept throwing one wild plot twist after another. All of them came completely out of left field and had me side eyeing the last 50% of the book. I couldn't stop reading because it was all so entertaining and over the top drama.
Overall, I'm giving this 3 stars. I was definitely entertained, but the sheer amount of delusional drama was unbelievable.

Funny

Cane was hilarious and as crazy as they come! From the club scene to Imani in the closet, I did not stop laughing 😂. The overall story was good. I know this is fiction but it still has to make sense. There were alot of things in the middle that went unexplained or just simply didn’t make sense. It felt like some things happened just to stretch the story. I think the author has potential to be a best seller sooner than later. I would definitely check Tiffany out again in the future!

This muthaf*cka blew the hell outta me. Like there needs to be a new genre called urban fantasy because some.of these plots be out of this world. Stuff coming outta left field, this man and his toxicity. I guess we're supposed to feel for him because his wife cheated first, then when you're starting to feel sorry for her we see she's been betraying him for their whole marriage and she's violent, homicidally so. Plus having your unknowing mistress living with you and what seems to be your WHOLE ASS family!

Speechless

I'm still reeling that I finished this story vs DNF. First 78% was bad fan fiction (from formatting to story pacing to simplicistic connect the dots style situations) and the last 10% was horribly thrown together rushed illogical conclusion that was also disrespectful to the LGBTQQ community. This is what happens when a story is published reading as if there was no editior nor grammarly nor a story plot map was used. Reading free is the best way to experience this text.

Lmao this damn book was something else. If you’re looking for something to have you gasping, laughing, and side eyeing everybody, this is the one for you.

First of all, Snow White being this girl name bc her mama is on drugs is CRAZY WORK 😩😭 Secondly, Cane found all his audacity ON SALE! I’m convinced. Now, Olivia crazy, trifling ass got on my nerves! How you try to kill your husband that you been cheating on, and with his brother at that. Girl bye!!! Her and Diamond are meant for each other, but that ending? Lmfaoooo I was not expecting that shit. At all 😂😂😂

Fast-paced, chaotic, messy, and spiiicccyyy romance—exactly the kind of ride that keeps you flipping pages like, “Wait… WHAT is happening?!” I had so many WTF moments and was cracking up the whole time.

We love an unhinged MMC, and Cane was definitely giving unhinged from start to finish lol. And bless Snow’s heart, because baby girl went through it. I was so glad she finally got her happy ever after.

I wasn’t even sure how to rate this. I’m so conflicted. Lol

I’ll start with the bad: it was stupid. 😂 The story was completely ridiculous and it wasn’t well written. It read like a first draft that needed several more rounds of rewriting and editing.

That being said, I was thoroughly entertained the entire time. It’s a short novel, so I read it in one sitting. I had a silly good time and cackled out loud a few times. It was fast paced (too fast probably, cause stuff was just coming out of nowhere) and there was never a dull moment. And the spice was spicy.

Overall, I’m not mad at it. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Disappointment

Now Ms. Tiffany Grey this is the fifth book in your catalog that I’ve read and I’m highly disappointed. Especially after reading triggered and having Baby as the MFC.
Snow pissed me all the way off in this book. She was definitely dense and motivated by sex. A weakling, if you may. A people pleasure, I guess because of the situation with her mother. The end of the book definitely felt rushed and I didn’t like that at all either.
