Yes, I loved Royal, but there was no coming back from what he did. He cheated in our bed with my best friend using MY fucking vibrator.
Some shit was just unforgivable. So I left him with her and went right back home. Unfortunately, staying with my mother seemed like it was doing more harm than good. She was still doing drugs and still willing to sell anything to buy it. I needed an out, and becoming a surrogate was that for me.
This one gave me whiplash because there was so much happening. You ever read a story and you’re entertained but you wish there was more to it? That’s what this book is for me because it has the bones of something I’d love but it felt like the author was just throwing stuff in for shock value at times. The pacing threw me off a few times, the decisions the characters were making gave me a headache but I was still throughly entertained. I’m not sure when I’ll be back over here but when I’m craving something chaotic and fun I’ll find my way back.
This book started off so strong. I was giddy with the amount of mess that took place. The drama, betrayal, bad luck and more kept me glued to the pages. I was rooting for the FMC and just really wanted her to win. There were a couple of instances where I thought to myself, now girl(talking to the FMC) is there something you're forgetting? But I let her rock because she was just trying her best. But when I got to like 85% and things took an overly dramatic turn, I got super frustrated. I mean, I still enjoyed the overall story, but it the circumstances definitely made me side eye everything. I hate to talk in code but no spoilers. I recommend reading it if you want a quick blood pressure spike. But don't say I didn't warn you that you may give major side ye by the end.
This was like a 3.5/4. But like uh what did I just read? 😂
Seriously, if someone can explain. Because I don't even know what to say😅.
Okay, I will say this: it was spellbinding and a page turner for real!!!! I honestly could not stop reading because the plot twists were insane. And... because Cane was irresistible 🤪.
I love my twisted unhinged MMC and he gave that to the fullest. The title 'Daddy' is fitting😉😏. Because those spicy scenes were insane🔥🥵🌶️ lol He was overbearing with gifts, affection and being extremely territorial.
Also, the way the book started was insane lol This author is wild!!! No literally, anything goes lol
I gave it a lower rating because with a fast paced storyline some things became extremely unbelievable. And I was like "Really dawg? C'mon be for real!"😂😂
But because Tiffany had the ability to hold my attention to the end I had to let it go. Because that ending was wild and unbelievable lol 😂😂😂
(..I mean most of it was unbelievable but it was extremely entertaining so who cares lol! 🤣)
The scene with Diamond had me laughing out loud! I wasn't expecting that🤭. And Cane still trusted him? I'd cut him off after that betrayal.
In conclusion, this was a short story and like 20 million things happened but it flowed effortlessly from one scene to the next👍🏾. I usually hate dialogue but this dialogue felt like a movie script so it was super engaging. Highly recommended. I went in blind so you should too! 🤣
Daddy wastes no time pulling you into a situation fueled by betrayal, control, and nonstop tension. The emotional stakes are high from the start, and the book leans fully into the chaos without pretending to be subtle. I found myself reacting in real time, questioning everyone’s intentions, and side-eyeing just about every decision being made. It is one of those reads where the drama keeps stacking and you stay locked in just to see how much further it will go.
Snow is the emotional anchor of the story. She is placed in a position where everyone seems to have an opinion about her life and her choices, and watching her navigate that pressure was both frustrating and compelling. Her strength and growth are what kept me invested, especially when it felt like the people around her were more concerned with their own needs than her well-being.
Cane is complicated in a way that adds to the tension rather than resolving it. There are moments where his actions feel supportive and others where I had to side-eye him hard. The push and pull between the characters, combined with the constant escalation of conflict, makes this a messy, dramatic read that knows exactly what it is doing. If you like high-stakes drama with no chill, this one delivers.
3.5 stars. This story was hilarious from beginning to end. It was a nice quick read and certain aspects of erotica. Cane will have you cracking up cause what he says sounds like a joke but he’s dead a** and Snow had some messed up situations she was put in that wasn’t necessarily her fault. From her mama, her boyfriend to her best friend. I think everyone in this book is trifling AF lol except Snow. Snow is just slow and dumb. She also doesn’t ask enough questions. Even Cane was trifling. He really didn’t care but he also didn’t put his mama in her place and explain things to do so that pissed me off cause yall how old ppl are. I also felt like the ending was rushed and really came of nowhere with everything that happened... It was just wild. So many curveballs were thrown your way within the last 5-6 chapters. Either way, it’s a quick read that will have you cracking up cause I was.
Read it and loved it! I did see a lot of comments about this book being “unrealistic” but personally, I don’t see what’s so unrealistic about it when I actually know someone who went through this exact same situation! ( no guns tho lol) Though yes it was a short read. It was very action packed snow definitely needed a backbone, lol but it was an enjoyable read. Can’t wait to go through your catalog.
I couldn't sense what was going to happen next lol the plot twists was crazy but I was definitely here for it🥰💯😌read this book🤔Yeah I'll never doubt 4.4 star wouldn't be a good read ever again every book ain't everybody's cup of tea but this book sho was mines The MMC chiefs kiss I'm talk bout in ittttt!!!! BDE Period Poo😍🥵🥵🤤😛! MFC wasn't bad Bae gone get her right tho yup I Believe In Miracles. Great read Miss Tiffany Much Gratitude Queen❤️
Fast-paced, chaotic, messy, and spiiicccyyy romance—exactly the kind of ride that keeps you flipping pages like, “Wait… WHAT is happening?!” I had so many WTF moments and was cracking up the whole time.
We love an unhinged MMC, and Cane was definitely giving unhinged from start to finish lol. And bless Snow’s heart, because baby girl went through it. I was so glad she finally got her happy ever after.
For starters Cane is definitely insane. I loved this book from beginning to end. It was well written and took your mind away. Even though it was a little far fetched at times it was still a good read. Tiffany Grey will definitely be on my list of authors to read. This iDC approved.
Whew! This book had my mind gone. I'm talking about completely shocked. This was such a good spin on the typical surrogate book. I do feel like we needed a little more for the ending. But other than that I would definitely recommend it! I also plan on reading more from this author.
(3.5) This book has so much potential. If the author had developed the storyline better this would have of been a great read, but there’s so much going on.
The pacing was good which made for a quick read, but there were so many plot twists being thrown in for shock value that weren’t even needed. It made it to be a bit crazy and unnecessary, but hey I still enjoyed it so I can't complain much.
Since when is fiction bad for being unrealistic. You must be new here. Anyway…the story is short and sweet I enjoyed it although Snow was a little too soft sometimes.
This was my first read by this author and I really enjoy it. Snow was a little too soft for me. She needed a backbone. Because pregnant or not a few people needed to get hands put on them! Especially Canes wife.
I have to say this is the craziest thing I have read this yr. Spicy sex his wife has to be the slowest person I have ever read, cause how I go let ur husband baby mom move into yawl house and ur husband eat her out on the table he kicked everyone away from mid dinner
3.5 - I was entertained but the premise of the book and plot twists were wild. The book was like a rollercoaster ride that hooked you early, had amazing moments but, then ending came a little fast.
