Use, Remove, Repeat

Rate this book
When Marvin Bindle discovers a revolutionary new procedure that could eliminate STDs and unwanted pregnancies while maximizing the intensity of an orgasm, he knows he would be a fool to pass it up. The procedure is a success, and Marvin quickly finds himself engaging in the best sex of his life. Unfortunately, Marvin soon realizes that his dream isn't quite as desirable as it sounds. When a sex romp goes awry, Marvin finds himself in danger of losing his livelihood forever. Will Marvin be able to overcome the flaws of science, or has greed and lust cost him everything?

Use, Remove, Repeat falls somewhere between medical satire and sexy science fiction. No matter how you classify it, this is a revolutionary story about the future of sex.

What A Funny, Dark Read!

Imagine this, in the future a man’s Johnson can be replaced by a disposable one, which according to its inventor, can give a man and a woman unimaginable orgasmic delight. Now imagine what would happen if the supply for this device were to suddenly run out?

That’s the premise for Nate Tower’s funny and dark novella, Use, Remove, Repeat which is going to have you laughing out loud and scratching your head as you wonder, “how the heck did he come up with this story in the first place?”

The reviewers before me have touched upon some of the novella’s finer moments as well as its brilliance, so I would just like to add that this is a fun read which will have you thinking about some deeper, profound themes as you near the end. Of course the book is more than just a story about a disposable penis and that is where Tower’s brilliance comes through as he explores man and woman’s views of sex and relationships. Tower gets our attention and then he moves in for the kill. This is what makes him a fascinating author to read. After you read this, check out his collection of short fiction to see what I mean.

I know this is going to sound a bit clichéd, but I couldn’t put this novella down once I started reading it. That’s in no small part to Tower’s writing style and the way his writing grabs you and won’t let go until the very end.

A disposable penis? Who would have thought? Nate Tower did.

Man! This was a lot of fun. Frankenstein meets Chad Kultgen meets...well, Nathaniel Tower. Tower blends the weirdest things in with reality, making it both seem possibly plausible as well as entertainingly out there. I admit that I found myself running through King Missile lyrics while reading, but I don't think that's necessary to enjoy this book. It's a lot of interesting fun either way.
