Yeah… this one had me hooked. I was fully entertained and low-key mad when it ended because I wasn’t ready to let these characters go. The banter? Chef’s kiss 💋—witty, playful, and actually funny, not try-hard funny. The chemistry was chemistry-ing, and no matter how messy things got, I was rooting for the couple the whole way through. This story had heart, humor, and just enough emotional chaos to keep me locked in. Fun, flirty, and satisfying—exactly what I needed.

Samad and Nilou, Love from Sides of the Aisle

There was EVERYTHING to love about this book!!!…Samad bought all that BDE to this storyline!!!…Lou was such a sweet person and I loved her friend circle!!!…
Cannon popped back up on the scene and baby I was clapping and screaming because he was playing no games!!!…
My heart broke to find out that Samad’s deceased girlfriend father played a part in her death and I wonder if her mother knew!!!…
I hope there is more for this group of ppl because I wanna see Moody get her happily ever after too!!!…She stepped up big time for her little brother and he appreciated!!!…The was Samad and his sister loved on each other and knew when the other needed the other was so beautiful!!!…

2.5 stars- I liked this book, but I don't feel like we got closure. Yes, they got their HEA, but what happened with the rest of the story? There was an investigation going on, what happened?? What happened with Kith and his brother?? What happened with Ramone and his brother? The story just seems incomplete.

a good read but…

This was a good book. I just wish it was more. That solution to fill in the 3 yr gap to give insight on what happened with the case! Even a little more after baby was born. But I don’t have any complaints fr. Enjoyed it.

Ugh I ate this book up! I wish it was longer! I loved the double life aspect. It was definitely giving Ghost from power and Angela Valdez. I wish the epilogue was longer too! I need more! It seems like the ending went by super fast

Solid 3.5, i feel like there was just a lot of unfinished business. I read Charity’s book last year about Kamaal and Reyna and highly recommend it.
