Under The Winter Lights: Two Broken Hearts, One Small Town, And The Magic Of Christmas

Rate this book
He showed up in Willowvale with eyes colder than the December snow.
The town called him a hero in a suit. I called him trouble on two legs.

I had rebuilt my life on peppermint dreams and second chances.
Not skyscraper plans and power ties.

Now I’m forced to co-chair the Winter Lights Festival with Mr. Big-City.
He brings spreadsheets. I bring hot cocoa and kid-sized mittens.

But every spark between us feels like it could burn the walls I built.
Loving someone like him once cost me everything—my career, my trust, my name.

Now rumors swirl like snowbanks, and my past storms back with vengeance and frostbite.
He steps in beside me when I’m one breath from losing Willowvale.

Our hearts collide beneath the Christmas lights,
melting old hurts and thawing frozen dreams.

Love wasn’t part of the plan.
But under the winter lights, anything can happen.
This clean and sweet romance will melt your heart!

Keith Williams, CEO and widower, is moving to Willowvale with his young daughter, Grace, to fulfil his deceased wife’s dream of living in a small town where their daughter could thrive. He ends up getting coerced into chairing the Winter Lights Festival with Amelia. They’ve met and it wasn’t a pleasant experience. How can he work on the festival with her when nothing he does seems to please her?

Amelia isn’t happy having to work with Keith. She’s had her fill of CEO types who bring spreadsheets and big-city ideas and know nothing about small towns. She’s in Willowvale because of one such individual. When that individual shows up in town and befriends Keith, making big promises, how can she prove to Keith and the town that he’s a conniving liar who will only bring harm to the town and once again ruin Amelia’s reputation and the life she’s built here in Willowvale?

Winter lights

Exactly as written: Two broken hearts, One small town, and the Magic of Christmas. A Christmas romance with an evil man with destructive ideas. It unfolds with the power to destroy and defeat all the other people. However, the story doesn’t end there because of a broken man grieving over his wife’s death. As he tries to fulfill his wife’s wishes to bing up their little girl in a small town setting he comes up against a stubborn broken woman. She had been destroyed by a man who made her take the fall in a criminal act. Will the town rally with them or go against them? Definitely worth reading!

The author has outdid herself. This story is amazing. Nick was trying to pull the wool over the whole towns eyes. Amelia and Keith have their problems but can they work together and save the town? A great read. I recommend this book.
