Gemma Weir is a half crazed stay at home mom to three kids, one man child and a hell hound. She has lived in the midlands, in the UK her whole life and has wanted to write a book since she was a child. Gemma has a ridiculously dirty mind and loves her book boyfriends to be big, tattooed alpha males. She's a reader first and foremost and she loves her romance to come with a happy ending and lots of sexy sex.
So Warrick is the last guy in the group and he's seen the talks witness everything sorta doesn't believe it. But when he meets Verity at the camp grounds he believes in it. He's sprung for his woman. And he tries to find her when she disappears. Verity is homeless she's living inside a tent in the woods and trying to get by and meets Warrick she tries to brush him off when he tries to ask her out she doesn't have time for that.
Plus who would want her? When Warrick finds out she's living in a tent he moves her in. Bossy and making sure she eats, rest and not worries about things but it's very hard for Verity to do that she thinks anything she touches or eats she'll have to pay back. So she always says she's not hungry. I think that was my pet peeve about Verity always turning down food. I get it but girl if you thought he was going to kick you out. eat allllll the foods.
They do have a small 3rd act break up because Verity says something that makes Warrick think something bad about himself so he does push her away. They both speak and work it out.
No ow/om drama, no cheating, secondary characters, drama, sexy times, virgin gal and sorta no manwhore

Ahhh! Such a wonderful couple to end this series with, and I can't really be sad over the conclusion.
Warrick claims Verity in the same fashion as the others, so I settled in for this super steamy, OTT caveman behaviors, and tore through this in one sitting, so plan accordingly 😉.
So steamy, addictive, and engaging! I loved spending time with characters that already live rent-free in my head, and feel a binge is in order!!
I'm super excited for the next series planned from this talented and creative author, and recommend visiting her catalog of work for more entertaining storylines. Worth your time, IMO.
What a read!! I had forgotten how much I love this series and of course the Barnetts! Warrick seems to be the last man standing but maybe not for long!! Verity finds her self in Rockpoint after an absolute catalogue of misfortunes, will this be her forever place? Holy moly!! I absolutely loved this!!! Go, one click it now!!
