Such a sweet and beautiful little book, clearly printed and bound with such intention. Left me with a smile and feeling inspired to write my own little half-page "plays" 🌱

This is shelved as Drama. But these micro-plays are not meant for performance. They are thought-plays. Poems. Art. The author gives instructions at the end of how to transform the book into a small poem show.

DANCING KEYS

Coffee percolating glumb glug flug.
A child moves with its sounds.

Old washing machine.
Clankety kong ung clankety.
Mother moves with its sounds.

Man enters,
Sees mother and child closed-eyed moving in, Joins them
In rhythm of percolater, washing machine, Insects, reeds, roots,

silent in sound.
