You might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Nina has known for a while that she was promised to Luca Moreetti to cement their alliance between their families, but she is afraid his reputation of being controlling who wants to bend her will trying to make her perfect into the perfect wife. But all Nina wants is freedom to be herself and add to that her sister who isn’t very nice out of jealousy because she feels like her sister has what she wants or she her sister was picked instead of her and she is living the life she feels should be hers. Luca sexy as all get out dangerous, ruthless, dressed in a tailored suit, he isn’t a man you want on your radar, but he likes order, control around him always and so his plan is to treat marriage the same way. He would like his wife to stand by him allowing him to make decisions, look pretty despite fact that he doesn’t really want love, but he will marry for the business. But from the moment he meets his wife she makes him feel things he wasn’t expecting to feel overprotective, towards her, passion, but will he be hones with her, will she learn to accept him with all his ways, is he as bad as she heard, and can they find happiness some where in the arrangement?

A Must-Read Mafia Romance

Ivy Davis delivers another hit with Bound! This time, we follow Luca, an Italian boss, and Nina, who is tied to the Russian mob, as they navigate a marriage of convenience that absolutely no one else wants to see succeed. The tension is high throughout the story, especially since the alliance triggers a massive backlash. Nina finds herself looking over her shoulder at every turn; she’s targeted by rival Russian factions who see her as a traitor and Italian bosses who refuse to accept a "surrogate" daughter into their ranks.
Watching Nina navigate these literal life-and-death threats—all while wondering if Luca is protecting her out of duty or genuine love—made for a truly gripping plot. Even though some of the side characters are quite harsh, seeing the relationship between Luca and Nina evolve amidst the chaos was so rewarding. It is a steamy, dramatic read that works perfectly as a standalone, even though it’s the third book in the House of the Mafia series, and it comes with a guaranteed happy ending. If you love protective heroes and "us against the world" vibes, don’t miss this one!

This is the third book in the series, House of the Mafia. Alek promised Luca that he could marry one of his surrogate daughters in order to form an alliance with them once they were of age. Well Nina is now nineteen and Susanna is eighteen, so it is time for him to choose. Luca runs into the two sisters at his club and definitely has his opinion as to who is the better choice. Nina is much more docile than her sister though she still can have a temper. After they are married, Luca wants to mold Nina, and it causes some issues with their relationship. He wants her to become a "wife" that will make him proud. She wants that but doesn't want to lose herself. Will she be able to make him see what he is doing? There are also enemies who are wanting to take over what Luca has built and it is causing problems. A couple of other twists keep the story lively and keeps you reading to the end of the story. Enjoy!

Nina is given to Luca Moretti to cement an alliance between him and Alek. Nina is wary of this controlling man; he wants to dominate her, bend her to his will, make her the perfect, dutiful wife. But can she be that for him? At the same time, she is dealing with her sister Susanna, who is jealous that Nina was picked for the alliance, getting to live the life she wanted. Can she have both, a good relationship with her sister, as well as be the wife Luca wants?

Luca likes order and control; that's how he runs his business, so he will do the same with his marriage. He wants a wife to stand by him, to make him proud. He wasn't looking for love in it. But he finds that Nina brings out his protective side, his caring side, and he soon realises he wants more than just a 'business arrangement'. He wants the passion, the heat, the love that only Nina can give him.

Alek had promised one of his surrogate daughters in a marriage alliance to Luca, who said he would wait till they are of age and now they are nothing can stop him from getting his bride. Nina was the more rational sister, compared to the bolder and fiestier 1yr younger sister Susanna, but it was Nina who drawed Luca's eye, and who he wanted, and she wanted to be the perfect wife, only her sister, and others in the Italian and russian families disapproved, but can Nina ever love then man who wants to mold her to the perfect wife?. The story is engaging with a good plot line, unfortunately like the prev 2 books in the series the characters feel childish, (which is uncharacteristic of the authors prev work) and makes you feel disconnected to them and their actions, the story is also lacking depth and ends quickly.

Luca Moretti was promised the hand in marriage of one of Alek's surrogate daughters, Nina or Susanna and he has come to collect. When Susanna learns that one of them will be married to the handsome Italian Mafia boss, well she just knows that it will be her. The surprise is that he chooses her sister, Nina because he believes he can mold her into his perfect wife. This alliance puts Nina in the path of violence, and she is subjected to being kidnaped several times. With each attempt, Luca begins to show his feelings about his future with Nina and that maybe he no longer needs to mold her into his perfect wife because she is perfect the way she is. I enjoyed this story, but I will definitely enjoy when Susanna's story is released and heaven help whoever takes her as a wife.

Bound is the third story in the House of the Mafia series. It is another great story from this talented author.

Luca has been promised a daughter. Nina was the older sister and not as strong-willed as her sister Susanna. Luca waited until the girls were older to take one as a wife. Susanna believes that Luca will take her but he chooses Nina instead. Luca thinks Nina will be the more perfect wife for him. Nina almost gets kidnapped and Luca realizes he cares for Nina just the way she is.

I loved the story and the chemistry between Luca and Nina. I love how Luca protected her. I look forward to the next story.

Very Under Developed

The story started out good. The characters were starting to develop. But after the initial scene where Nina and Susanna go to the club, it all goes downhill. It felt like the story was written by a teenager. It’s written in a manner that does not have much plot development and no character development. The only character who had any sort of development was Susanna. And she’s not a main character. Additionally, the author was trying to add what I can only assume was Daddy Dom aspects to the story. And it was poorly done. Honestly, when Susanna demands to speak to the manager at the club, the entire book goes downhill. Anyone who reads mafia romance will see the glaring issues immediately.

Bound, by Ivy Davis, is book three in the House of the mafia arranged mafia marriage story. Luca is an Italian Mafia boss who marries Nina to form an alliance between is mafia family an her surrogate father's russian mafia family. This alliance between the russian and italian mafia families does not sit well with the other russian or italian mafia bosses. Poor Nina finds herself in danger from all sides, and she knows her will husband protect her, but is he willing to love her for herself.

It was an ok read. Nina gets a little redemption from the last book where I did not care for her or the sister at all. Here you feel a bit sorry for her and how her sister and new husband treats her. Glad that Nina learns to stand up to her. Oh, but does her sister ever need to be taken down a few pegs!! Also, all these new mafia husbands treat their women very poorly, more like just possessions but of course, they all find out love, not abuse, conquers in the end.

A tense and dramatic mafia romance with enough intrigue to keep you turning pages. Nina’s arranged marriage to Luca, an Italian mob boss, puts her in danger from every angle, and the family drama adds layers to the story. While some of the characters’ treatment of women felt harsh, the book redeems itself with growth, loyalty, and a satisfying HEA. Engaging and steamy, it’s a solid read for mafia romance fans—four stars.

Bound is book 3 in the House of the Mafia series by Ivy Davis. It is a continuation from the second book, Beaten, and is the story of Alek's adoptive daughter Nina, and her arranged marriage to Luca. It was a sweet, short, way to wrap up the series. I enjoyed the story, although it did seem a bit rushed. Altogether I would give the series 3.5 stars. The writing style was a bit rushed and choppy, but the spice level was good.

Dimitri and Alek are now on friendlier terms than they were in book two but that's not going to stay happy for long.
Luca has picked a bride Alek's sister Nina and nit everyone is happy about it including her younger sister and Dimitri.
Dimitri isn't happy Luca is Italian and he hates the Italian mafia and her sister thinks she can get anything she wants, especially if Nina has it.
A great story and a must read for me.

When Nina sneaks out with her sister and goes to a bar she captures the attention of a mafia boss and now he is determined to make her his wife. When the other sister complains because she expected to be the chosen one it creates drama. If that isn't enough Luca has enemies gunning for him. Will he and Nina get their chance for happiness. this action-packed story kept me glued to the pages.

If you are looking for an action packed novella with lots of passion and steam then this is the one for you. Ivy Davis writes wonderful dark mafia romances with a lot of danger and adventure. Luca and Nina make a cute couple who have a lot to navigate to get their HEA. I highly recommend this book to all dark mafia romance readers.

Book three of the House of the Mafia series is a great story. The characters are likable and the storyline is great. In the last book the sisters vexed me and into the beginning of this book Nina started to grow on me. Her sister still irked me though. Anyway, it's a good read and I can see recommending it. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Luca and Nina's story may be shorter than the first two books in the series, but there is still plenty of drama, action and passion packed into it. Mafia, arranged marriage, friends, family and enemies, it's all there.

The third book in the series is about Luca and Nina. He forces her into an arranged marriage. A quick, fast paced read. I didn't particularly connect with the characters. There was no chemistry between them and the spice felt flat.

Bound is the third book in this series. It follows Nina, Alek surrogate daughter, and her arranged marriage to Luca.
This is one of the less spicy books Ivy Davis has written. It was well-written and a good story plot, character development and more!!!

This is the third book in the House of the Mafia series. It’s an arranged marriage, mafia romance. There’s so much drama and suspense. It’s an intense, gripping, emotional story with plenty of angst. I really enjoyed Luca and Nina’s journey to their HEA.

Storms ahead!!

A family obligation, choices are made and the fallout begins. Jealousy, high expectations, siblings issues, heat, chemistry, family and more all play a part in Lucas and Nina's journey to happiness.
