She doesn’t believe in fate. But now that they’ve found her, she’ll never be free. They tell me I’m the Phoenix and it’s my destiny to save my home world. But I’m not ready to say goodbye.
I never found my place here, but I don’t know if I belong to their world either. Everything I thought was real has been ripped apart, and the thought of leaving the only life I’ve ever known makes my chest ache. But my time on Earth has officially run out. I’m not sure I’m ready for what waits on Titan, and my men are more divided than ever. Orion watches me like I might disappear, Xander keeps slipping further away, and Ragnar treats me like I’m the spark that could burn us all. Atlas’s control is tightening every day we remain trapped here, and I can feel myself reaching a breaking point. The daema are circling, their attacks growing bolder with every breath. I can’t let them catch the phoenix before I’ve learned how to wield its fire.
They say they’re here to protect me, but they can’t stop the storm that’s coming. I have to embrace it if I want to save the men I’m falling for. I’m going to make it to Titan. Even if it’s the last thing I do.
BRONTIDE is the second installment in the Titan Series, a why-choose fantasy romance. If you love twisted mythology, supernatural magic, slow-burn spice, and dangerously devoted men who'd burn the world for their girl, this is the series for you. Intended for 18+ readers. Contains strong language. violence, dark themes and explicit scenes.
I read the first book so fast, and then now the second is under my belt with the same speed. I am eating it up. I want more and I mean right now. NOW.
Brontide. Talk about a Rollercoaster of feelings. I do not know what to touch on first. Maybe the fact that there is so much tension between Eve and Atlas and then also Ragnar. I love the new characters and their connections. I loved how her powers have stayed consistent, and its a development of her character and not just straight god mod. Eve, Orion, and Xander. Delicious. I did want to hit Xander there for a minute. Throttle Orion during a couple parts. Atlas though? He deserved that kick to the nuts. He needs more than that. The ending had me shook. Is he talking about Ragnar or Atlas? Or is it someone else entirely. The betrayal with that cliffhanger made me want to jump to find out what happened next. He says for her own good, but... uugghhhhh!!!!! If I could strangle him, I would.
Ok this was another good segment of Titans story, but be warned it ended on a cliffhanger.
It continues from the first book, with eve being trained and preparing to leave her life and friends. Getting ready for the journey to titan. I can't say much more on the plot as it will spoil the story.
What i can say is that you get more of Atlas, and him battling to control everything including his feeling towards Eve. Eve is still trying to understand everything, what her powers can do and her feelings towards the guys. But love that she keeps throwing herself right into the path of danger. Orion and Xander what can i say, love them but also they both needed a slap at some point. We find out alot about Ragnars past which does explain a lot.
And the ending, we eventually get what we have been craving the whole book and then it all falls apart. This was such a good read, really enjoyable but I am now sitting hear impatiently waiting for next installment.
