He raised her for the end of days. She ran from him to escape the madness. Now the EMP has proven him right.

No warning. No rescue. No power. No Mercy.

The EMP takes everything, and society falls apart in days. In this emotional and fast-paced post apocalyptic fiction thriller, Charlie must reconnect with the father she abandoned and the past she’s tried to forget, before it’s too late. A moving story of survival, forgiveness, and EMP resilience.

Loved this book

I'm so glad I decided to try the odd prep theory of a interesting story. I actually cried! I started reading a few pages to my husband and now he wants to read it. You will enjoy the action, the frantic atmosphere of desperation and fear from the people trying to grasp what is happening.

An engaging story

But it should have been shortened by eliminating repetition, not only of words and phrases but of entire paragraphs. The 1st time I read a new idea I was impressed. By the third or fourth repetition I was no longer impressed. By the seventh or eighth repetition I was bored.

Exceptional

Maybe the future will be like this. But forever, child and parent relationships are always complicated. There may never be a time to remember how things were and what it was like to respond to the past the way we want. Yet sometimes you have a chance against all odds.

A fun, frightening future

A fun, quick read despite some obvious technical errors. Good characters you can relate to and a scary glimpse of one possible future.

Well written but needed a little more connection.

Great story but way too many deaths. Any chance of them bringing in any more refugees? I really doubt it.

Excellent survival story

Great storyline and characters. This kept me up all night as the story stayed fast paced and I couldn't find a pause point. It was a satisfying read.
