Jenny Beth Hall

Jenny Beth is a mom, wife, and lifelong military dependent who has called more places "home" than she can count. She grew up riding horses, hiking, and camping in the mountains of Alaska, Colorado, Montana, and Tennessee, where big skies and big‑hearted people shaped her love of small towns and storytelling. A seasoned traveler who's moved around the country, she writes clean, faith‑forward romance about resilient women, steadfast men, and communities that show up when it matters. Her stories are inspired by her own faith journey and by the ordinary heroes-family, friends, and strangers-who've left fingerprints on her life. When she isn't plotting porch‑swing kisses and wildfire sunsets, you can find her chasing kids, planning the next trip, or hunting down the nearest bookstore.

Jenny writes a tender story of what first responders deal with in their line of work. She is honest and gentle, while allowing humor, the kinship of found family and community to all be interwoven. I found some truth nuggets like “… playing the what if game never comes out with a winner, just regrets and more questions.” “I tell God how incredibly unfair I feel this is for everyone.” Now read the story to fill in the blanks.

Wow! I don’t know where to start this book was so good. Obviously this is a romance and there is a sweet story between Tex, the rugged cowboy firefighter, and Bea, the sweet southern belle. Beyond that there are so many layers of loss and depression inducing grief. But the faithfulness and devotion of this found family and God are so prominent throughout all of the heartache. These tough subjects were handled beautifully with grace and care while shining a light on an often overlooked reality. I have quickly been captivated by this series with its wonderful characters, strong faith, and tight knit family.

Another great Strike Team read!

I enjoyed reading Jenny Beth's newest book in the series. She always has a way to draw you in with interesting characters and a story that holds you.

Tex & Bea are old friends who run into each other and sparks fly. Then life happens and they have to choose to walk through it or walk away from it. The way these characters support each other and draw each other out is beautiful.

And of course, the ending is a great wrap up for those of us who have read the series from book 1.

Can't wait for the next one.

I really enjoyed this new book in the strike team faith series. Tex’s story is full of so much. Flashbacks, memories, letters. Bea is such a genuine soul. She is just what you would hope for in a friend. I absolutely loved Princess Nora. What a hoot!

There are some hard topics discussed and I cried a lot. But the wrap up is beautiful!

I would encourage anyone to read this no spice, firefighter, faith based romance.

I received an advanced copy of this book from the author.

This is a great, deep story with a lot of emotions that I went through while reading it. Tex and Beulah are destined to be with each other and the journey to get there was tough but worth it. A great story.

Great story and characters. Loved how the characters helped each other work through trauma and grief, giving attention to the PTSD and suicide rates among first responders. Loved the Christian faith aspect. I would have given it 4 or more stars, but the editing in the Kindle Unlimited version is atrocious -- misspellings, missing/incorrect punctuation and grammar gaffes galore, plus an annoying mixing of verb tenses. My engagement with the characters and fascination with the story is the only reason I was able to overlook the many editing errors and finish the book.

Tex and Bea by Jenny Beth Hall is the third book in the Strike Team Faith series and I jumped in completely blind, having not read the first two. While I could tell there were layers and history I was probably missing, it absolutely holds up as a standalone and I got invested faster than I expected. Jenny Beth Hall has built a world that pulls you in quickly and the storyline here is both well thought out and beautifully delivered. The handwritten letters, the porch conversations, the slow burn of two people finding their way toward each other while life keeps throwing hard things at them made for such a rich and emotional read. I found myself completely lost in this world in the best possible way. The first two books have officially been added to my never ending TBR because I need more of this world.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

A beautiful story about trusting God in all things. Wonderfully written with small town charm, faith, hope and humor, this story has grief, found family and a heartwarming slow burn romance. You'll quickly fall in love with the heartwarming characters feeling all their emotions. Tex and Bea make a perfect couple and so right for each other after all their past heartache. Their faith was so inspiring, you can't help but be enlightened and entertained by this amazing read. A fantastic addition to the series.

I came in to reading this book without much expectation. And I was pleasantly surprised. I found myself invested more than I expected in the connection between these two and the journey they take. The support and care and understanding that exists between them is so endearing. Their relationship pulled on my heartstrings and warmed my soul. Bea and Tex complement each other and mirror each other in the best of ways. Watching things grow and blossom in their connection restores faith in humanity. These two were so sweet together. I adored the ending they got.
