About the author

Nicole Abrams is best known for her debut contemporary romance novel, Finding Caroline. Born in Georgia, she moved frequently with her military family, finally settling back into her home state as an adult. Always an avid reader, she eventually started journaling and writing short stories, which led to the creation of her first book. Nicole is a breast cancer survivor, beating her diagnosis in 2021 after undergoing surgery and radiation. She has an unhealthy obsession with the TV show Friends and when she is not writing you can find her spending time with the man of her dreams and their son.

Another great read by Nicole Abrams. This book gave us the backstory we needed, answered questions from the previous books and ties in perfectly. The book packs a punch lots of action, danger and a form of devotion and protection I've only seen in books. The chemistry between Knox and Sloane was off the charts and Knox is that protector that was along for the ride no matter what was thrown his way. A man with many admirable qualities. While I still have questions there is still hopefully much more to come.

What a journey this book takes you on with the suspense, the action and the chemistry between Sloane and Knox.

Sloane has a heartbreaking past and she keeps so much bottled up. Knox, Sloane is it for him, his whole world and his protectiveness of her is everything.

When Sloane’s past catches up to her, a lot of pieces come together.

Knox kind of blows his other MC brothers out of the water with how he is with Sloane. This man is perfection x infinity!!! Their story has intrigued me from the very beginning and holy hell did it exceed my expectations.

From the moment their eyes lock in a bar in Chicago Knox is a goner for Sloane. Fate definitely puts him in the same hotel bar as her that night because from that moment on their lives are entwined.
There are no limits to what Knox will do to protect Sloane...NONE! The first step towards protecting her...marriage, of course!

Finally getting their story was worth the wait. It is clear Sloane has doubts and lives on the edge constantly. Knox is go patient with her. The way that he never pushes her for her truth, even two years into their marriage, shows how he feels about her. The last thing he wants is her running from him. Not a day goes by that he does not show her in some way that he has her back whether it is literally standing at her back, holding her thigh while on the bike, or resting his chin on the top of her head. He does not hold back the affection with her. His love for her runs deep into his soul and he is just waiting for her to catch up.

Sloane has every right to be cautious because her life pre-Knox was anything but ideal. She fears her truth coming out and that he will no longer want her around. At times this girl is her own worst enemy. She doesn't see how much she is loved by everyone. She loosens up very little and as soon as she catches herself relaxing her armor slams back into place. Then her past makes an appearance, rocking the world she has built over the last two years and she realizes it is time to come clean with Knox.

Ms. Abrams does a fantastic job of showing the reader how Knox and Sloane got to where they are when we first met them. She knows how to write a love that will have you feeling all the emotions while reading. Her FMCs have girl gangs you want to be a part of and brotherhoods of fierce loyalty. Basically if she writes it I am reading it.

WHEW WHAT A MAN!!! I'm a married woman but DAYUM I'M STILL WONDERING WHERE CAN I FIND ME A KNOX 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣In my opinion, NICOLE OUT DID HERSELF ON THIS MAN, WOW! I have LOVED Malachi & East (Books 1& 2) but KNOX took the cake here the way he loves, his passion & obsession over Sloane is so powerful that for me it's like I could feel it through the pages and that is why I love Nicole's writing, I forget that im reading a story & I feel like I'm standing net to actual people or places and just watching it all unfold. From the moment Sloane (the FMC) walked into his life while she was running away from her father who wanted to sell her Knox was blown away & was hooked from that moment on, with proposing marriage to help her change her name to make it harder for her father to find her they went on for a couple years living together biding time while waiting when the time came for her to release her secrets and trust in Knox to stay with her in what she thought she had done wrong but when the time came when her dad found her all things in the dark came to light and Knox deciding if his love for his Sloane is more powerful than what she thought was wrong when what she did wasn't her fault. Another great read in this series featuring members of the Outsiders motorcycle club. Having already met Knox and Sloane in the previous books, there seemed to be an air of mystery surrounding them so it was good to go back in time and learn about their backstories, including the circumstances of their initial meeting and the events that followed. Knowing this is essential as Sloane’s past eventually catches up with her, which not only impacts The Outsiders but also ties in with what’s been going on in the previous two books.
I loved Knox’s quiet strength and his ever present patience and protectiveness where Sloane was concerned. He’s all in from the start but it takes Sloane longer to learn to trust, not only Knox but also her new “Outsiders” family.
Although much of the content of this book is quite heavy and emotional, there were some welcome lighter moments, particularly concerning the pranks. I couldn’t help but smile! It was also good to see that all the other members of The Outsiders had roles to play in this book, allowing the reader to see more of their lives too. Looking forward to reading more about members of this club.

The first half of this story is just like the other 2 first book. The same event as book 1 but in Sloane and Knox point of you. As well as we get to see how they got together. Which I love their first meet.

Sloane has not lived an easy life for sure. Running away from all that she knows she finds comfort and second chance with Knox.

Knox being the protector that he is can’t help himself but step in and help Sloane anyway possible.

Their love story may not start off with love but it sure does blossom in that way. The spice was yummy as well. Knox sure knows how to take care of Sloane in all aspect 🤭🥵.

I adored how their story unfold. I also love the family relationship between the girls, the guys, and each other. The pranks between one another 🤣🤣

The only thing I didn’t like is I found the story to be a bit too long. Good but a tad too long.

What an amazing read this was. It takes us on one hell of a journey with lots of action and fiery chemistry and passion between Knox and Sloane and Knox proves time and again that he would go to great lengths to keep Sloane safe especially when her past catches up with her and we see how Knox is the man every woman would love to have. Sloane has a hard time trusting but as we read on we know the reasons why and how much she has to overcome to really give herself and Knox a true chance together. I loved all the other members of the Outsiders MC and we get a good insight into their brotherhood. I loved the book and all the interactions and am looking forward to reading more from Ms Abrams and this fabulous series.

MC romance with all our favorites.

Knox has trauma. And so does Sloane. Instead of letting it break them they weather the storm and figure out how to fight for what they want and stay when it’s hard.

The Outsiders are going through rough times with the people around them. And coming together to unravel the thread brings that found family vibe rough out to the open.

This was an emotional read. And gave so much insight and more detail to what was happening in the other books. I enjoyed it and can’t wait for what’s next.

Knox and Sloane story

She is a nurse and he is in a motorcycle club called the outsiders
They meet in a bar.  He helps her out the night after they hookup.  Her dad is a bad man and is a doctor.  They go to Willowridge.

Finally happy i got to read their story and see how they met and what happened throughout this book.  I really enjoyed it and these characters.  They make you laugh, they make you cry. Couldn't wait to see what happened. Wasn't disappointed.  Can't wait to see what happens in the other books.  Highly recommend.  Love Nicole Abrams writing.  It never disappoints.

All I can say is WOW! There is a lot to unpack with Sloane but Knox is by her side the entire time. When Sloane's past smashes into Knox's club, The Outsiders MC, not only does he stick closer than glue but they all do. The writing style of this book and the series is surgical (medical pun intended), each word matters and you need to start with the first book, Malachi to get the full effect. Knox is solid as a rock and he found his "The One" in Sloane. This is a book that will stay with me. I have questions that I hope will be, possibly, addressed in the next book!

Sloane and Knox’s story intense, and completely gripping. What starts as a marriage for protection slowly turns into something deeper, built on trust, silence, and survival.

Knox is the kind of hero who doesn’t push—he protects, waits, and loves quietly, which made me love him even more. Sloane’s past is heavy and heartbreaking, and the way it unfolds keeps the tension high the entire time.

The mix of romance and suspense worked really well, especially with the darker themes woven into the story.

OMG this book cover was fantastic and steamy hot. This author stories will have you wanted more of danger and desire. It was a page turner, and the suspense was so intense. I couldn't even put it down and I highly recommend that you won't be disappointed I was hook on Knox and Sloane chemistry was on a sexual level passion and forbidden romance that will change their lives forever. And it is more to this attraction and this forbidden love and chaos.

This is my first read by this author and I need to go back and start with book 1 of the series. I completely enjoyed Knox and Sloane's emotional story, but I felt like there were elements that I may have missed by not starting the series in the beginning. That being said, I definitely will be going back and reading them. I love this authors writing style and as I said, I completely enjoyed Knox and Sloane. Absolutely a recommended read!

What a wild ride this book was. The way Knox and Sloane met was crazy, she was on the run and picked him to give something her father wanted to sell. The connection, passion and chemistry they had was indescribable. I was powerful and gave her hope. When she left him in the morning she never expected him to rescue her again and save her life by giving her his name. Both Knox and Sloane have trauma and past that they struggle with the only difference is, is that Knox opens up about it, Sloane is a vault scared to open up feeling if people knew her whole past they would leave her. Knox is her person, her protector her silent soldier keeping her going day after day. Sloane is his whole world while she is always waiting and struggling to deal with her past and if it will come back for her. Sloanes story is heartbreaking but reading her strength and seeing all the women of the club help out with protecting other trafficked women giving her the hope she can heal. The story is action packed and full of suspense and answers to questions and the ending was exactly what Knox and Sloane needed. I was given this book as an ARC for my honest review.

Again! This group of books is so good. The men in this MC are hot, and hilarious. Sloane and the other women in this group are winding. They all are so strong and so many of the characters have been through so much. Such excellent books!

100% all of the feels!

Where do I even start? Nicole Abrams is an absolute wordsmith! Knox blew me away. The cadence of this story drug me through the emotional mud more times than I could count and then the characters would put me back together with their strength and determination to be there for each other. I absolutely loved the way Knox was ALWAYS there for her. Even when she didn’t feel like she deserved it. Even when she was afraid. He was sure enough for both of them. Positive that this was his path and she was at the end of it. No matter the turns and twists that came along the way. He just knew. Everything he did for her was done with the beautiful amount of love and ferocity. Check your triggers because they are plentiful but most importantly… enjoy!!!
