The book is from 1998 and it shows. I hoped for some general recommendations one can follow while designing computer networks. I got some but expected more. I do not recommend for any IT specialist working couple of years in the field. Especially having in mind current price of this book.

Thorough book

Pretty dry to read, but the info is all here.

I recommend taking notes as you read. It helps with content absorption.

Good book for what it is. Fundamentals are sound, though the details lose relevance with age. The plot was predictable. No character development.
