Catherine Girard-Audet est une écrivaine, traductrice et blogueuse québécoise.

Elle est la fille de Michel Audet, politicien québécois et ministre des Finances au début des années 2000.

Originaire de Québec, elle est diplômée de l’Université McGill où elle a obtenu un baccalauréat en littérature française, anglaise et espagnole.

En 2006, elle a obtenu un diplôme d'études supérieures en traduction de l'Université Concordia.

Okay, this book is stupid. And when I mean stupid, I mean idiotically awfully stupid. There.
This book just describes a life (that isn't even complicated) that this girl I think about 12-13 years old experiences, with "complicated" school trouble, boy crushes and.... *cringes*... DATES.
This series of complicated events drags you along a bumpy road of TERRIBLY STUPID SITUATIONS.
Each book is about the same, and I really do not get the point. The cover is cheesy and brightly colored (which I don't mind so so much) and the writing in is just cheesy and dreadfully draggy. The whole story is just stupid emails, which don't even explain properly the situations. I don't like the fact that Lea spends like, 24/7 of her time texting and emailing her friends, having to make them endure her boring life. I mean, REALLY?!
Anyways, this reviews must be a drag itself, since I don't know really how to express my anger and frustrations towards this book. La vie compliquee de Lea Olivier is such a stupid book, so that's THAT.

The name of this book is "La Vie Compliquer de Lea Olivier". It was written by Catherine Girard-Audet. She is a Canadian writer. She was born in 1981. This book is fiction and realistic fiction. I chose to read this book because it is very popular were I use to live in Canada and when I read the first one i really like them.

The book is about a girl named Lea Olivier. She is in high school and facing lots of drama at school. To face all the bullies at her school. She moved from her home town and the way the story is written is by Lea and her friends sending each other e-mails or texts. This story takes place in a city in Canada called Montreal. She has a best friend called Marilou and another called Jane and Alex. She just lives a normal teenage life.

I really liked the story. It is just like a reality TV show, all the drama and love is really entertaining. I felt like this story could actually be a real life story. There was a lot of times where I felt like in a movies you get very stressed because something bad happened. Overall I liked the book it was fun and entertaining. I would recommend this book to people who speak french and probably girls but of boys want to read it its cool. I think people could start reading this at the age of 12 or 13 because of the teen drama. I give this book an 8 out of 10.

Parfaite pour les adolescents, La Vie Compliquée de Léa Olivier est une série plein de rires et de morales. Les relations entre amies dans la série sont belles et me donnes toujours un air de comfort en lisent.

Le format est aussi assez créatif (en étaient écrit comme si c’était des e-mails entre ami)

I love this whole collection. I rarely read french books in my free time but this collection will always be my little French home.
I have been growing up with this collection. Every new book reflects exactly where I’m at irl.
It’s the type of book you want to keep for your kids :)

J’ai plus ou moins aimé les péripéties (plutôt redondantes et inintéressantes) entre Léa, Maude et Olivier. J’avais du mal à comprendre pourquoi Léa s’acharnait autant à maintenir une relation avec Olivier.

Het Lastige Leven van Lea Olivier is een reeks over een meisje, Lea. Ze mist haar vriendin zo erg dat ze veel e-mails stuurt. Ze ontmoet een nieuwe jongen, Olivier. Lea probeert contact met hem te zoeken en stelt zichzelf voor, maar het meisje Maude probeert hem al snel van Lea af te pakken. Het thema van het boek draait vooral om liefde en vriendschap. De schrijver is Catherine Girard-Audet.

Ik vind het boek ontzettend leuk, maar ik denk dat je wel geïnteresseerd moet zijn in liefde om het echt te kunnen waarderen. Ik vind het een topper. Toen ik aan het lezen was, kon ik niet stoppen. Ik voelde ook de emoties van de personages.

Ik geef dit boek zeker een 10/10.
