Dragon Knights #8

Hidden Dragons

Rate this book
Love flourishes when two knights unexpectedly find the woman of their dreams…

Sir Robert finds a beautiful maiden sobbing by a small waterfall. She proves to be a very special woman who can communicate with dragons. She lives alone in the forest, on the edge of a village Robert and his fighting partner, Bear, have been sent to investigate. When she invites them to shelter from the rain in her barn, they accept, using her place as a vantage point for their surveillance of the town below.

Both knights are drawn to the fair maiden. Could she be the one to share their lives? Their dragon partners certainly think so.

When they discover a treasonous plot in the village, they must act quickly. Will they be in time to stop the enemy from gaining a strategic foothold in their land? And will they be able to protect the woman who has become precious to them, even while the battle rages?

And most important, when the dust settles, can they convince her to stay in the Lair with them...forever?

Other books in this series include: Maiden Flight, The Dragon Healer, Border Lair, Master at Arms, The Ice Dragon, Prince of Spies, Wings of Change, FireDrake, Dragon Storm, and Keeper of the Flame.

The slightly different roles of the dragons were interesting, but this seems skippable honestly. A bit of old home week with cameos from the ladies of book 1 & 2.

Kind of disappointing if compared to Keeper of the Flame for overall plot advancement.

** Well she's mentioned in next next book so I 🤷 🙄 guess I should refresh. She's requested in the first chapter of it.**

Hooray! A new book in the Dragon Knights series. Bianca D'Arc always writes a good story. It begins in the border village of Halley's Well, Draconia. Isabelle is alone after the death of her mother and living in a village that even after 10 years never truly accepted her and her mother. Although they do take advantage of her healing talents for the livestock and her help with the harvests. Isabelle is weeping at her favorite spot on the river bank when a knight and his dragon discover her. Soon they are joined by his knight partner and his dragon and the story starts to unfold. You really need to start with Maiden's Flight in order to understand the entire story although you can catch on fairly quickly that the knights and their dragon partners are also spies trying to keep track of infiltrating skiths and enemy Skithdron soldiers. They take care of Isabelle, discover that the village headman is a traitor to Draconia and take Isabelle to the safety of the Lair. Discover Isabelle's unknown ancestry and her healing talent. Enjoy a true love story where you finish the story with a smile. HEA of course.

Good read!

This is a fast paced intriguing read. Isabelle is much more than she knows. Her introduction to the knights and their dragons is a good read.

Another great addition to the Dragon Knights series. I really love this series and I hope she starts writing more often and also starts to bring everything together. I would hate for it to not get a proper "ending". I do wish she had explored Isabelle's origins more/earlier instead of so much of them helping her fix up the house she wasn't going to live in. Also, why make a point about the necklace and then never bring it back up? These are the only reasons that I didn't give it five stars. This series is still interesting and hasn't become repetitive or boring, can't wait to see what's next.

Hidden Dragons

I started reading this series when the first book came out. I loved the book so much that I bought each one as they released. I love books about dragons and weres so I have quite a few of Bianca's books. I loved this book like I did all the rest. Bear,Isabelle and Robert met each other and developed feelings for each other and were surprised that she can talk to dragons. They found out through Drake that she is half fey and human and is royal through both sides of her parents. I can not wait until the next book is released. Erin

I have read all the books in the Dragon Knights Series, and this one did not disappoint. Robert, Bernard, Isabelle, Growloranth and Tildeth are the perfect grouping of dragons, knights and mate. Ms. D'Arc keeps coming up with ways to bring the knights together with their mates, ensuring that the dragon mates can also be together. When I started reading the book I kept wondering what Isabelle's origins were and I was glad that by the end of the story that was cleared up. I really hope to find out what happens next. This was a perfect snow day read.

Terrific PNR in a fascinating world and although this is the 8th in the series it can be read stand alone. Bianca D'Arc does great PNR and SciFi romance and this book is no different. The characters are real and vulnerable and you are sucked into their dilemma from the first page. The world feels real which makes the issues these characters face feel the same. Though this is a ménage story it isn’t all about the sex although that is fun too. If you like sexy fairy tales you will get a kick out of this.

Loved this book!!
The way the dragons are portrayed was great, they have so much personality. Love the story of the knights and their relationship with their dragons. It was full of action and hot sex. The female, Isabelle, is a little magical and is known for her healing skills with animals but she is shunned by the people of the village she lives outside of. When the knights come along her life changes for the better and they want her for their mate. Great story.

Another good Dragon story

I have enjoyed all the Dragon Knights series. Each one has brought a stronger kingdom and a clearer understanding of this world. The addition of each mate has given this kingdom a very important and powerful member and support system for the knights and dragons. The menage relationships are an interesting spin on all this series. Well worth reading.

I love this series! The steamy parts are done with consent. The world building is good. There are too many tropes to count, but that is the genre. Can't wait to read the next ones.
