Rate this book
A little girl is held hostage. A maniac named Impact Princess is the one who took her and she is the only shot that Thrust and the other superheroes of Port City have at getting the mayor's daughter back, both alive and in one piece.

Thrust gets on the Princess' trail, chasing her to an amusement park. Heroics ensue, but fighting won't be enough to loosen the lady's lips. She has something else in mind, a villain who wants to find out what the heroines of Port City have been experiencing for months, namely what it is that Thrust can do without his costume.

Will Thrust give into her carnal demands? Can he trust the pillow talk of a madwoman? What will this information cost him if he does relent?

Come read the first of a two part event, Spent - The Thrust Diaries Case 9!

The Abyss section of the Hero's Journey.

Ok. I own a Kindle version of this story & I have a Paperback Compilation.

Great sex, neat villainess, no real pay off.

Our hapless hero gets railroaded into a no win situation where he compromises his limited morals to save the Mayor's daughter from the warped female version of himself who has all of Puma Blue's deceit. He saves the day but is badly screwed over in the process. Kinda fits the series actually.

Anyhow, I'd have torn chains & machinery and tied Impact Princess up or knocked her through walls to get her out in the open to attract the authorities. If you're strong enough to pick up a bus, you can perform a lot of Urban Renewal in a fun house.

Anyhow, the hate sex is awesome. The taunting dialogue is pretty good. Unfortunately, Impact Princess is a masochistic crazy woman stereotype like Min/Max is a stereotypical Latina.

I wish there had been more character background or better psychology than just flat "B!atch crazy".

Villains get off way too easy in Port City. Dangerous Daddy or not, bad guys/gals like that would realistically get killed off. No one seems to die or be in any real danger.

Another Flaw of the Port City/Wonder Event/Thrust Diaries is the lack of Gov't involvement. Basically, they'd buy out any hero or at the very least give them handlers.

TLDR: serviceable superhero erotica well worth the price.
