Hi, I’m Claudia Aria — the heart and the mind behind Inner Growth Press.

I write and publish self-help books for those navigating deep emotions, invisible wounds, and the quiet desire to grow. As an empath, I know what it’s like to feel everything — and still wonder if you’re doing enough. That’s why my books offer both soul and structure: the emotional support and the mindset shift.

At Inner Growth Press, healing isn’t just an idea — it’s a daily practice. A blend of inner child work, shadow integration, gentle nervous system awareness, and grounded manifestation. I’m here to turn “self-help” into self-connection.

While I write and guide the vision of this work, I don’t do it alone. I’m supported by a small, thoughtful team who helps with research and clarity — so every book you hold is crafted with care and integrity.

Thank you for being here.
📚 Let’s grow — with heart, with courage, and in our own timing.

We live in a world in which we are constantly bombarded by things that pull our trigger, such as notifications, deadlines, expectations, or things from the past that hurt us. If you would like to learn how to control how you feel and understand better the emotions that are within you, this guide could be useful to you. Don't expect a book that will share a magic formula that will work instantly. Instead, think of a book in which you can skip to the parts that you feel you need the most advice about, and that will teach you about emotional control and what is happening in your body before you get the usual triggers.

Learning to Pause Instead of Spiral

I picked this up because I was tired of understanding my triggers but still reacting anyway. What I appreciated most was how grounded the approach felt. It didn’t shame emotions or push quick fixes. The explanations around the nervous system helped me make sense of why I react the way I do, especially under stress. I found the real-life examples around work, boundaries, and conflict especially relatable. Some sections required slow reading and reflection, but that felt intentional rather than heavy. This book seems best for people who are high-functioning but emotionally worn down and ready to do deeper, practical work instead of surface-level advice.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5)

The Day I Stopped Reacting has a good premise and a calm, accessible tone, but it leans way too hard on grounding. Nearly every issue circles back to the same advice of breathe, notice your body, name what’s around you, which quickly becomes repetitive.

There are a few useful reminders about pausing and noticing triggers, but the book stays very surface-level and doesn’t offer much beyond grounding as a solution. Fine as an intro, frustrating if you’re looking for depth or variety.
