Icing the Professor: A Forbidden Age Gap Hockey Romance

Rate this book
He's the golden boy captain of the hockey team. I'm his sports psychology professor.

This should be keep it professional, keep my distance, keep my career intact.

But Maverick Hunt doesn't make anything simple.

He walks into my office with that cocky smile and those piercing green eyes, and suddenly every boundary I've carefully constructed starts to crumble. He's twenty-two. I'm twenty-seven. He's my student. I'm his professor.

This can't happen.

Except he sees me—really sees me—in a way no one else ever has. Past the credentials and the professional armor to the woman underneath. And when he looks at me like I'm the only person in the room, I forget why I'm supposed to resist.

One tutoring session turns into late-night study sessions. Professional distance becomes stolen glances across campus. Boundaries blur until I'm not sure where the professor ends and the woman begins.

He wants more than I can give. More than my career can survive. More than the five years between us should allow.

But Maverick Hunt is used to winning. And he's decided I'm worth fighting for.

The problem? I'm starting to believe him.

My job. His future. The rules that could destroy us both.

Everything I've worked for hangs in the balance.

So why does risking it all feel like the only choice that makes sense?

When the star player falls for his professor, someone's going to have to break the rules. The question who will break first?

ugh.

This book is all over the place.

They have the same conversation about waiting to date, almost verbatim, easily 4 times. He texts her after acing a test, then a chapter later leaves his number for her. I’m not sure if this was AI or what but there is no structure editing, at all.

Sad.
