Have you ever had a moment of curiosity so deep that it stayed with you for a lifetime?
Through Markus's eyes, revisit the memory that shaped him- a peaceful, scenic life in a Norwegian village, a single father who worked hard, and a promise that changed the course of Markus's life. At twelve years old, he was not interested in the world. But soon enough, the universe would reach out to him on an ordinary morning of his ordinary life. What followed was a journey of love, promise, discovery and hope. Telescope is a fictional memoir set amidst the beautiful view of fjords, mountains, snowfall and a quiet seed of childhood curiosity.
A blend of fiction and non-fiction, with a soft touch of futuristic framing, within which Markus reflects on his memories. A simple yet heart-warming story of a 12-year-old boy and his discovery of a dream. It's like the story of a heart-shaped balloon- the kind you would chase after and carry with you.
It’s a short read. It starts off a bit slow as it settles into its setting in Norway, but once it picks up, it moves quickly. I enjoyed the Climax part.
I really loved the storyline. Norway was described beautifully and emotions were conveyed. The ending was sad but thoughtful. Really enjoyed! - malar :))
