Razor I don't do relationships. I don’t do complications. But the moment Rosie walks into my Halloween party, sweet, nervous, completely out of place, I know I’m keeping her close. Then chaos hits the clubhouse. Blood. Betrayal. Lockdown. And Rosie? She stands her ground. She saves lives. She looks at me like I’m worth saving, too. Now she’s under my protection. Under my roof. And whether she knows it or not… she’s mine.
Rosie
I’m only supposed to be here for one night. But Razor, dangerous, loyal, terrifyingly intense, pulls me in before I can escape. When danger closes in, and secrets explode, I’m forced to Run back to the safe life I’ve always known… or stay with the man who makes me feel alive for the first time in years. Dark. Protective. Addictive. When the Black Saints MC claims you, they don’t let go. *This book was previously published under Bewitching the Biker, but has been re-edited and extended*
I like the plot of this story it was good but my god does it need proof reading. There are so many mistakes a few examples: Our FMC goes to a Halloween party as a sexy witch in a tiny skirt so it states but when she's dancing with MMC his hand is on the waistband of her jeans...?? She's a women in her mid twenties who lives alone in an apartment with her cat.. then when she's at the part her parents are ringing panicked about where she is and what time she will be home...?? Plus the cat isn't ever mentioned again and she moves out. Times lines don't match up at all. And if the FMC tells us once she tells us 20 million(Okay exaggerating here) thats shes scared of what being with MMC in an MC is going to be like but then the next minute she's part of the family and then back to been scared...this goes on through the book it got to be annoying after the fort couple of times. That's just a few of the things that caught my attention there are more ut what I don’t understand if this went through Alpha, Beta, ARC readers how none of these were picked up and if it didn't go through them it really needed to. like I said the plot of the book was good but it really needs some editing to it.n
I am enjoying this series and storyline and the first 2 books had a good storyline but the author seriously needs to have the books proofread as quite a few errors in the book. Rosie goes to the Halloween party in a very short and sexy witch costume. However when she is dancing with Razor about an hour later she says “ his thumbs trace lazy circles over the denim of my jeans, dipping just low enough to skim the edge of my waistband” Sorry when did she put on a pair of jeans ?? Then when they are in her apartment she goes to change in to yoga pants and a baggy shirt but then he says he “hooks his fingers in to her scrub pants” This is simple editing and should have been picked up before print.
The writing was juvenile, inconsistent, and shallow. You're telling me an ER nurse is having flashbacks due to a stab wound where the guy never lost consciousness and his vitals were stable the entire time? Also you can't say you see a lifeless body and then in the next sentence say they are just unconscious. Unconscious is not lifeless. Finally if someone hands you a key to a door, of course it's going to go into the lock smoothly, there's no need to say that. I'm not even going to go into detail about how there isn't any conversation between Rosie and Razor that feels like there is authentic chemistry or the fact that there was no relationship building whatsoever.
Im sorry, I cant finish this series. This book was so whacked with the story mistakes. It's like no one read these before releasing them. The story was great, but details were messed up. First, its the first time Rosie came to the club, but she was in Brick's book?!? The previous book had these same issues. It's disappointing because ive read another series by this author and it wasnt like this. Its just hard to read. See notes.
I read this book so quickly. It pulled me in and before I knew it I was finished. I really enjoyed it. I’m a sucker for MC stories. I blame SOA. Totally worth it. Quick read that leaves you wanting more. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series
