Rate this book
Abhay Raizada wanted only one thing. REVENGE.

Revenge on the father who had deserted him at birth, married again, built a happy family, and was worshipped by the world as a god. But to Abhay, he was no god. He was a devil. And Abhay would stop at nothing to destroy him, even if it meant shattering the one bond he cherished above all, the love he held for his twin.

One brother, blinded by rage and misunderstandings.

One brother, who loved unconditionally.

One brother, who admired his elder sibling.

And a teenager who did not know how to hate.

Four brothers, separated by fate yet bound by blood. But when one turns against the others in his quest for vengeance, will the family collapse under the weight of betrayal? Or will the brothers fight to reclaim the trust of the one they love unconditionally? Their Bhaiyu? The very man who sought revenge!

Badla by Swati Sandeep is a gripping and emotional story of betrayal and misunderstandings. The story focuses on the fragility of a family, the hunger for revenge and a love so fierce it refuses to break even when everything else does.

Abhay Raizada is the definition of a morally grey hero. Hurt, angry and abandoned by his father, he is driven by a single obsession. He wants REVENGE and is willing to break the very brothers who adore him. His rage is raw and misdirected yet his vulnerability surfaces through the cracks of his anger, making him spiraling every time. Despite his hate and revenge, he can’t stop loving his twin Agastya, and his step brothers Aniket who looks up to him and Advay who is too innocent to understand hate. All he wants is his Bhaiyu.

The sibling dynamics feel messy, intense, real, heartfelt, and heartbreaking as their relationships strain, fracture and fight for survival.
