A super fun read! The opening scene pulled me right into the story, and from then on I couldn't put the book down!
Waters does a really great job of building the suspense throughout the book. The story is full of high tension moments that will have you dying to know what is coming next, not to mention a spicy romance and a touch of humor.
I'm pretty sure this was the first time I've read a cop/detective story, but I really enjoyed it and can't wait for book two!

The Chase by Jessi Waters is the author's debut novel . She sure blew this out of the water so to speak. I just started this book this morning and I have had trouble putting it down! I loved the romance , banter , and the suspense ! Definitely remember to read that trigger warning page if you have any triggers . There are parts that were to hard to read but the ending was very healing .

This book had me hooked from the start. Great character development. Characters you grow to love and those you love to hate. Great mix of suspense, mystery, humor, and spice. Definitely looking forward to book two!
