Mike Salt has added another gripping book to the Linkville series, and honestly, I think this might be my favorite so far (though I probably say that every time).
The characters feel real and well-developed, the storyline is dark and layered, and the themes hit hard in all the right ways. What’s great is that you can read this one on its own, but if you’ve read the others, the way they connect makes the series even better.
Bottom line: this is a dark, intense ride that sticks with you. Whether you’re new to Linkville or already a fan, it’s definitely worth picking up.

Blind is a stand alone installment of the Linkville series. It’s a new world of twisted fates and fresh characters, but still manages to intertwine with the rest of the series. If you’re familiar with the series, you’ll discover this book has an insane amount of Easter eggs. This is my favorite series so I highly recommend you check it out!

There’s a reason Mike Salt is one of my absolute favorite authors. He always has a way of tapping into my emotions unexpectedly. This book is no different. I felt so connected to this story on so many levels (my boyfriend is a recovering alcoholic). I can feel so much empathy with the husband, Don, because I have been there. So many nights I spent wondering what he was doing and who he was with. You get the point. Even though he put me through hell, I love him with all my heart, and like Don, I would go through hell and back just to try to save him. This story had so many twists and turns and grabs at your heart so much that you never want to put it down. It touches so many different human elements including drug addiction, suicide, parenting, etc. and is very relatable. And horrifying!

Very excited to see that my favorite series got a new book, and Blind is a terrific addition. As always, Mike’s characters are richly written, and their character flaws and poor decisions make for great and adventurous reading. You know no Salt novel is complete without some truly messed up individuals and this is no exception. Felt like to me, one of those books where you speed up because you can’t wait to see how it ends. Well done! Looking forward to the next.

I’ve learned that when it comes to Mike Salt books, prepare to have your mind scrambled. His books tend to be twisty mindf*cks and Blind is no exception.
It took me a bit to get the hang of bouncing between the characters and all of them straightened out in my head. I found myself skimming back over what I’d already read to remind myself whose pov it was. Once I got it down, it was smooth sailing. This was really just a skill issue on my part rather than reflecting on his writing 😅
I kept thinking I was reading a dream sequence from characters before realizing they were actually in a hellscape of a situation.
The way the character’s storylines, and the story in general, was great! Mike intertwined the happenings of multiple characters in various places and predicaments in such an amazing way!
Mike Salt is an autobuy author for me and Blind is a perfect example as to why.
