Jewelry maker Talia Clark accepts that she’s always the ring designer, never the bride. She finds beauty in everything and will help anyone who needs shop assistant’s younger brother who needs lessons in the art of dating. The age-appropriate man she hooks up with his dream girl…while she’s on a date with him.The ex-boyfriend who needs help proposing to his new girlfriend… Talia’s so focused on giving, there’s not always enough left for herself, or her jewelry shop. It’ll take a Christmas miracle to get Talia’s business out of trouble.
Enter banker Conlan Richard, who lives life by the numbers. Numbers have rules. Rules make sense. People…do not always make sense. And when it comes to the opposite sex, his foot is wedged firmly in his mouth.
Chaos meets structure when Talia needs a loan, and Conlan walks into her shop with spreadsheets to save both her shop and her dating life. While Talia tries dating by the numbers (and sheet formulas), she helps Conlan communicate with his fellow humans. But the sparks between them portend disaster. Talia must deal with the fallout of misplaced kindness as she vibes her way to a seat at the pivot table of love.
Talia sees the good in everyone…has she finally found someone who sees the best in her?
In this closed door RomCom, the sheets they get between are the spreadsheet kind, and the only colorful language describes beautifully designed jewelry.
This was a cute book ! I liked Talia (who is a jewelry maker is never a bride ) but makes jewelry . Meets a lot of people Her shop is in trouble and enters the banker Conlan where life everything lines up . Talia is chaos but Conlan is not , he walks into her life to help her store but will he help more ? I love how they are so good for each other and she brings chaos into his life and he brings order to hers . This is a closed door romance and it’s so good I recommend it ! There's a lot going on in this novel. There's a group of loyal friends, a few love stories, a couple of pregnancies. There's a dating app and a jewelry store, spreadsheets and awkward relationships. Young love, mature love.
And a town that pulls together to support a shop owner after her store burns.
This was not your typical rom com, or a serious love story. But it was a charming way to spend some time with new friends and wish them all the best. I wholeheartedly recommend this read.

I loved this book and couldn't put it down. I think it's Karen's best yet! What I loved most about it was the storyline. It was not super easy to figure out. There were surprises along the way. It was funny and quirky and just so good!
Thank you, Karen, for the ARC. All opinions are my own.
This book is a comedy, close door and Christmas romance. If you like these troupes read this book.
This book follows the character of Talia and Conlan. Talia is a jewelry maker who loves to make jewelry. Conlan works for a loan company. The friendship that is in this book is so fun. They help each other out when they aren’t asked. I truly enjoyed the way this book was written. I only read this book out of the series but I liked it. I read it in 3 days.
Overall this book was hard to put down. It had me wanting to keep going. I will definitely will be reading more by this author. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was a cute opposites attract holiday story. Talia is a free spirited kind soul. Always helping others Conlan is so up tight and by the book his suit squeaks. But together they are magic. She helps him out of his shell while he helps her save her jewelry business. I really enjoyed them as a couple and following their Christmas journey. Highly recommend.
