How do you keep a bubble from popping when you want to catch it in your hands? Easy, don’t try to catch it at all.

Back in 2025, I was a professor of paleontology, but it seemed falling through a time portal had made me stupid.

I’m so in love with Draxton, and I would do anything to keep him a bit longer, even if it meant pushing him into another man’s arms, to demonstrate that I don’t want to own, control, or smother him.

How will I do that if I have to protect him while he’s going on all these missions to help my brother free Atlas, a dragon who was the only one who could take us back home?

This is the second part of Children of Anzulla Book One by Kashel Char. WARNING: Themes of oppression and slavery include war, hand-to-hand combat, bloodshed, intense violence, savagery, deformative surgeries, and alternate history. The narrative includes death, grief, burning, perilous mind torture situations, graphic language, and gay sexual activities are shown on the page. One of the main characters has level one autism. Readers sensitive to these elements should take note and prepare to escape reality and face the storm.

I am a Canadian speculative fiction author writing in science fiction, fantasy, and the paranormal.

My writing explores who we are, where we come from, and where we are going as a human race on Earth.

I enjoy weaving and exploring questions and subjects about our history and origin by creating new, exciting worlds and characters. My stories are unpredictable, twisted with a dash of humor, and centered on gay characters.

You will question your existence among these worlds and wish you could escape to these places filled with foul-mouthed heroes who struggle and strive to save humankind.

Review for (Children of Anzulla part two of book One- Finding Love in the World of Titans) Kellan by Kashel Char

I feel so lucky to have had the chance to read/listen to this book by Kashel Char. I hated it when the first one ended, but I was lucky I didn't have to wait too long to get my hands on this one. Kashel Char is a gifted author who can bring a world/book to life so easily.  Jonathan Waters was such a fantastic narrator for this story. He got the inflections so well in this story. The way the people sound makes it seem like more than one person is reading it. To me, that's a fantastic narrator. I loved how Kashel Char continued the story in this book. I fell in love with Draxton & Kellan. I loved the way Kellan wants to protect and give Kellan what he feels he needs and deserves. Kashel Char's writing is so well written that you can't not fall into the story and cheer for these two men. I have been lucky to have been able to read several by this author, and some day i want to own all of these in print; they are that good. If you haven't given this series a try, you really should.

"This reality was a realm of endless danger and possibilities, and the very unpredictability of it, intensified my emotions."

Part 2 of book 1 in the Children of Anzulla by the ineffable Kashel Char. I sit here tongue tied, maybe brain tied, or in this case I guess it's more finger tied, trying to describe how amazing I find this author's work. Kashel is a true wordsmith who keeps me on my toes and the edge of my seat. Keeping track of the timeline in this world is a full-time job... I'm just glad it's not "MY" full-time job!!! As stated in my review for part 1, Jonathan Winters did a fantastic job with the narration of this book as well as all the books that Kashel has created.

This is the exciting conclusion to Kellan and Draxton's story. We start out right where we left off in part one of this two-part story. I'm still in love with both of these characters, they just fit!!! Don't worry I'm sure that Kashel will have them show up again so don't despair. Seems like everyone shows up between the stories and timelines. It was fun and exciting to see Eryn and Ishtar riding in on the big Golden egg.

Can't wait to see what Kashel has in store for us next!!!

Audiobook review:
What a whirlwind. This picks up right where Draxton's book ends. He and Kellan are torn between wanting to go home and helping Ouro and his people stop the Zelk. But the only way to truly get home is getting the laser drill to free Atlas from the mountain. To do that, Draxton and Kellan must face impossible odds and their growing feelings for each other. It was fascinating learning more about Draxton's mind and how it worked. Kellan becomes fiercely protective of Draxton, even when he tries to push him into the arms of another man. And don't get me started on that, lol. Zaidon was an interesting character. I honestly felt bad for him at one point. After Atlas gets freed, the war with the Zelk heats up. Wow that was crazy. There were a lot of exciting twists and turns, plus a couple of beloved characters returned to help save the day. My mind is still pretty blown after listening to this. Kashel Char's imagination is truly remarkable. I have no idea how they came up with such an amazing world and characters. Speaking of which, Jonathan Waters did an incredible job voicing these characters. He brought the story to life with his talented ability of giving each character a unique accent or dialect.

Arc review. The tension built and built after book one. I fell in love with Kellan and Draxton and my heart broke for Zaidon, but he got what he deserved. I laughed and almost cried, and wow the battle scene, was such a surprise. I hope Apsu stays dead now. Amazing take on the world below and the origin of the crystals. Callisto and Atlas were amazing. Once again, the author made me attached to these characters and the story ended so nicely and now I hope to see my new favourite characters, Kellan and Draxton!
