"I'm not just your shield. I'm what rises when you do. I'm the silence between your storms. And if the universe bows to you—then I'll be the one beside you, fangs bared, ready to make sure it stays on his f*cking knees." — Nicholas White
A dark, obsessive romantasy sequel, Crimson Chains comes as a high-stakes fantasy romance where power awakens, loyalties fracture, and love becomes a liability.
“So rarely does a sequel outdo the original, but this book is INCREDIBLE.” “Devoured. Obsessed. I want more.” “The worldbuilding and plot are on another level.” “That ending had me REELING… I can’t stop thinking about it.”
Dark. Dangerous. Unrelenting. Crimson Chains is a story of power, consequence, and a bond that refuses to break. She broke the rules to save him, now the consequences want her blood. Aria was never meant to survive what she did. She defied death, magic, and every law that governs the immortal courts, and chose him anyway. Now she’s bound to Nicholas—vampire, heir, and the one person she was never meant to fall for. But what ties them together isn’t just blood anymore. It’s something deeper, unstable. Something no one understands. And the courts are starting to notice. Whispers spread—of prophecy, of power, of something that could tip the balance of everything. As ancient magic awakens in Aria’s veins and something older stirs inside Nicholas’s resurrected soul, one thing becomes Everyone wants to control them. But Aria refuses to be used. And Nicholas refuses to be ruled. The more they fight it, the stronger the bond becomes., the more dangerous it turns. Because whatever is awakening inside Aria… is no longer human. And whatever came back with Nicholas… isn’t entirely vampire either. Together, they must uncover the truth about what they’ve become, before the bond that ties them together destroys them both. Some chains are chosen. Some are cursed. And some were never meant to be forged at all.
Enter a world where power has a price… and love might be the spark that starts a war. Crimson Chains is a dark fantasy romance perfect for readers that crave blood bonds, high-stakes, court politics and found family and betrayal.
The bond was never supposed to exist. Now it might be the only thing powerful enough to end everything.
P. Carreira writes dark fantasy romance where magic is visceral and love is dangerous. Her stories weave the sensual with the sinister, blending emotional intensity with supernatural intrigue. Born in Portugal and now living in Switzerland, she crafts worlds where monsters bleed, lovers burn, and scars turn into power.
A lifelong reader of fantasy, she grew up searching for darker, more romantic stories—and now writes them herself: raw, haunting, and unflinching. An incurable dark romantic, she doesn’t dream—she has nightmares, and she turns them into stories.
Book one cracked me open, but this one grabbed a blood chalice and pushed everything to an unholy extreme. Aria rises fierce and unbreakable, stepping into her power like a full-blown villain origin, and I was cheering every second. Nick? Pure dangerous devotion, protective, and a little possessive, and completely intoxicating. Hadriel steals every scene with lethal sarcasm and main-character energy that demands his own story. The world grows darker, deeper, and more addictive, packed with magic, secrets, and relentless betrayal after betrayal. The tension hits perfectly, the spice enhances without overpowering, and the pacing is so addictive I forgot sleep existed. And that ending, the sheer audacity of that cliffhanger left me wrecked and desperate. Book three needs to arrive immediately.
Absolutely an amazing read, P. Carreira has yet to ever let me down. Hadriel is so funny throughout this book from his commentary to his snarky comments about Aria and Nicholas. This book dives deeper into Aria and Nicholas story so be sure to read Broken Blood before hand. The plot twist omg the plot twist was so shocking, gripping, and honestly I never saw it coming. I highly recommend if you have a touch her/him and die complex (Which we all have including me) 💋 This book contains explicit content but also holds a story so beautifully written and vivid that you'll feel like you're actually there apart of the realms, fae, vampires, and magic. It truly is a work of art in all its context and details.
I love this series so much . i love nick and Aria and omg Hadriel best side but main character ever. I love the full 180 evolution development that is happening. I was like "yesss queen" "you go girl" "ohh damn" " you claim your man" all the way through this bookand was i here for it present and waiting. its did not disappoint in any area i love the vamp 🌶scene i love a biting frenzy. The ending though I just cant i need more!!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
tell me why this author really said “you thought you were obsessed before? think again.” because I am officially UNWELL after this one 😩
Nick?? somehow 100x hotter (illegal, honestly). Aria?? oh she owns my entire soul now.
Watching Aria’s evolution had me in my feelings for REAL. The girl we first met—carefree, strong, just living—gets completely shaken, broken down… and then rebuilt into an absolute force. The way she refuses to stay down?? The way she stands her ground even when her world flips upside down?? yeah… that’s MY FMC. It doesn’t matter where she started, it’s who she’s becoming—and she’s becoming EVERYTHING.
And can we talk about the trio?? Nick, Aria, and Hadriel are that dynamic. The chemistry, the tension, the flow?? chef’s kiss. Hadriel instantly became a favorite because every time he pops in like “I’m too old for this shit” I LOSE IT 😂 the timing?? unmatched.
This book had me fully immersed—like you don’t just read it, you feel it. Every page pulls you deeper, every moment hits harder. Definitely check trigger warnings before diving in because this story does not hold back.
Safe to say… this is my favorite in the series right now and I am STILL thinking about it.
I will not rate it, but I do feel it's only fair to describe why I did not finish it.
After book one I was intrigued enough to want to know how it would continue, but I was struggling pretty early on.
There’s a lot of repetition. The same points keep coming back, like Aria bringing Nicholas back, how her power affects him, and even things like her standing up to his mother. After a while it started to feel like nothing new was being added, it was just repeated several times.
At 26% I feel like not much happened. It didn’t really feel like the story was moving forward, which made it hard to stay interested.
Some spoilers below.
It started off with Nick and Aria bonding and I got this whole Adam and Eve vibe right after it was completed. He was not happy about it, he blamed Aria, and all I'm thinking is “it takes two to tango.” Something that should have been a happy occasion wasn’t that at all. It would have made more sense to me if they were happy at first, until they realized they hadn’t thought it through and figured out what the consequences might be.
Aria and Nicholas go to his apartment because it is off the grid and warded, which made me expect it to be hard to find, but someone or something still shows up outside on the very first night and clearly wants to be seen. This of course might be explained later on in the book, but it still feels a bit off at this point in the story.
Also, Ethan’s apartment, which was also Aria’s apartment, is completely trashed. Aria is frantic because she can’t find Ethan, and then Nick calms her down because they did not come for him, there is no blood and no signs of a struggle. What do you mean “no signs of a struggle or fight”? The house is trashed. You can be taken without leaving blood at the scene. He might even be taken as leverage.
Also, the “realization” that the house was trashed because they came looking for Aria and Nick… it was the whole reason not to go there in the first place, so why are you surprised that they came there and trashed the place? And why would that thought process make you think that Ethan should be fine?
For me the repetition, pacing, and character interactions made it too hard to continue.
I had hoped to enjoy this continuation of the series; unfortunately, this installment didn’t work for me.
The story picks up immediately where book one ends, with very little reorientation. Readers are expected to remember characters, emotional beats, and plot details without any refresher, which made it difficult to settle back into the world or reconnect with the characters.
The prose itself was a challenge. Certain stylistic choices are heavily overused, particularly fragmented sentences and single-line emphasis. While short, punchy lines can be effective when used sparingly, here they appear so frequently that the writing often feels disjointed rather than impactful. Similarly, vague phrasing such as “something passed between them” or “something changed” is relied on instead of specific emotional or sensory detail, which lessens the overall immersion.
There were also strange inconsistencies in the book. One example is when the MMC is narrating in first person, it slips into third person (“Her throat worked around a breath she hadn’t meant to hold.”). Or a line immediately contradicting the line before it, leasing the impact (“She didn't move. But she did step closer to me.”).
The minor characters have similar personalities and feel interchangeable. They just show up and provide similar snark and sass and sometimes you forget there are actually two separate characters.
The plot twist was pretty obvious.
I seriously considered DNFing early on, but chose to finish so I could give a fair assessment. In the end, this book wasn’t for me, and I won’t be continuing with the series. That said, readers who strongly connected with the style and structure of the first book may still find elements to enjoy here.
I am NOT okay. I am spiraling. Book one cracked me open emotionally… this one said hold my blood chalice and cranked the intensity to an unholy level.
Aria. My sweet girl. Sharp, mentally unbreakable. Watching her step into her power had me cheering like I was courtside at her villain origin story. The growth? Delicious. The energy? Untouchable. Yes, darling, ascend!
And Nick. My dangerous bad boy. The devotion. The protective, slightly possessive, burn the world energy??? Someone bottle that immediately because I would like several gallons! This man is vampire hotness with a heartbeat adjacent situation and I am unwell about it.
Hadriel...best side character, no contest. Sarcastic, lethal, and radiating main character energy so loudly I’m side eyeing the author like… when is HIS book?
The worldbuilding sinks its teeth in deeper this time. More magic, more danger, more secrets lurking in every shadow. And the plot? Oh it delivers!! Action, twists, betrayal after betrayal after BETRAYAL… and that big one? I need to have words with someone because WHAT WAS THAT?! Also yes, there is spice but it knows its place. It enhances, not overwhelms. I love a well balanced chaos.
At this point I’m convinced the author infused this book with actual vampire magic because I physically could not put it down. Sleep? Irrelevant. Responsibilities? Forgotten.
And that ending… The cliffhanger. The absolute AUDACITY!! You really looked me in the eyes and chose violence.
Book three cannot come fast enough because I am emotionally wrecked and begging at the altar. Send help. Or the next book. Preferably the next book.
I went into this one hungry after devouring Broken Blood, especially with the way that book ended — all that uncertainty, all those new magical threads dangling in front of us. And let me tell you, Crimson Chains did not disappoint.
Right from page one, you’re hit with the tension of not knowing whether Nick and Aria’s bond survived his magical resuscitation… or if he secretly wished he’d stayed dead. That emotional wobble? Delicious. But as the story unfolds, it becomes very clear: he regrets nothing. If anything, their bond comes back stronger, deeper, and more intense than before.
And then there’s Hadriel. We only got a taste of him in book one, but here? Oh, he steps fully into the spotlight — and the man is sassy. Sharp‑tongued, entertaining, and absolutely adding spice to every scene he’s in. He brings a whole new energy to the group dynamic, and I loved every second of it.
I won’t spoil the plot, the evolution of their bond, or the chaos they walk into — but the pacing flows beautifully, the emotional beats land, and the spice is… well… 🥵🔥 Let’s just say I needed a moment.
Aria remains a force of nature. Confident, sharp, powerful — she owns every page. She’s such a badass, and her sass had me grinning constantly.
And yes… another cliffhanger. Again. I’m choosing to believe book 3 is coming soon because I cannot be left hanging like this.
If you loved Broken Blood, this one pulls you right back into the madness — and raises the stakes in all the best ways.
I had the privilege to read this before its release date. I want to start by saying that, I realized half way that this story was not the speed for me. Not only that, but if you haven't read the first book, you WILL be lost. So make sure to read Broken Blood before hand.
I want to say that the story, the plot, is great. Everything in between made it hard to stay engaged. I understand wanting to expand the world, bring in new characters and trying to give weight to the plot, but I felt like majority could've been cut. I will admit, the banter between MC's is great, but can be a repetitive. This could've been read a few times over by an editor to just clean up the edges a bit with the small plot holes and words used a few to many times in a paragraph.
This book is for those who like long, in depth world building. The author really strives to expand this world. We also finally see more Fae involved and what their intentions are. There are some plot twist, which I enjoyed. I loved the way it ends and I am intrigued to see how the story continues, truly.
Overall, it has a lot of work to be done for future installments, BUT I can see this continuing to improve.
First of all the banter is so good! Hadriel is probably my favorite when it comes to this. He’s unapologetically hilarious and has impeccable timing knowing damn well he always knows what’s going on. Honestly it’s hard not to love half of the characters because I also felt the same about James and Calliope with their funny/witty comebacks.
Nick and Aria together are the perfect combination and I love them both so much! But that cliffhanger was so good and unexpected. I was not expecting them to walk into all that. I need book 3 released asap so while we wait please enjoy my favorite lines below 🖤
"Oh, good. I'm officially 'taken? Guess I can finally stop swiping left on all the other vampires." -Aria
"You're the one who turned into a bad bitch revolutionary and told a queen to go fuck herself. I'm just here for the ride." -Nick (Probably my fave line Nick says 😂)
"Oh please, I live for this kind of shit. Mysterious lovers, near-death experiences, magical secrets... It's like being the side character in an HBO drama. The gay best friend with a twist." -James
"Oh, I felt something. Thought it was indigestion. Turns out it was just you two getting magically married on my day off.” -Hadriel

This was an ARC read. I quite enjoyed book 1 which is why I was intrigued to see where book 2 took us. The pacing was slow, and hard to retain my attention/focus. I feel like I didn't connect to or like the FMC as much as I did in book 1. Despite her power growing, I feel like she as a person, didn't grow. I loved Nick in book 1 but also felt like he had little to no character development.
The concept of this with the species, the divide, the magic system is all fantastic, but I feel like its poorly executed. Multiple lines are repeated - to the point where I thought I was rereading a page by mistake.
Despite the book being over 500 pages long, the world building and plot didn't progress like it was. I felt like it barely progressed at all. It wasn't cohesive for me. I also feel like as a unit or relationship, their connection lacks depth for me - it started out fantastic in book one with him being her safe space and home. It just hasn't blossomed from there.
The spicy scenes are kind of glossed over, and I feel like compared to the first book, some attention to detail is not there. When it comes to those scenes, dialogue, etc.
I will possibly read the next book, just because I am curious to see where the plot goes (if its the last book) and how it ends.
I couldn’t wait to dive back into this world — and Crimson Chains did not disappoint. Even from chapter one, I was instantly pulled right back in, and trust me, I was not complaining.
The spice? 🌶️ Absolutely delivering. The plot twist? Had me shook. The side characters? I’m fully invested. The banter? Brilliant — exactly the kind that keeps you glued to the page.
The pacing was perfect — not a single dull moment, and every chapter had me needing “just one more.”
The tension and connections between the characters were everything. I ate up every emotional moment.
Honestly, I did not expect anything that was coming. I am still shook. The plot, the twists — everything was 100% unpredictable. I did not see that ending coming. I am literally on the edge of this cliffhanger, and once again, I loved this book.
If you loved Broken Blood, you NEED Crimson Chains on your TBR the second it releases.
Easily a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 for me.
I’m completely hooked on this series, and now… I’m going to go and cry.
I say this with every ounce of respect - but @polianacarreira_ WTF WAS THAT??!?!?!?!?! HOW… WHY…WHATTT with that ending? and Also - when is Book 3 coming out? Pleeasseee say there’s already a date!
📖 Crimson Chains (ARC version) by @polianacarreira_
Aria and Nick brave this new reality, powers — LIFE that they are dealt with. With a bond, tethering them to each other, and with powers beyond any form of understanding, they are constantly sought out and hunted for what they have become —but their powers, especially when together, prove they are an absolute force to be reckoned with.
Together with Hadriel, they try to find those who are willing to ally or at least stay neutral in a “power war” brewing. Aria and Nick’s relationship truly takes on everything.
The writing makes it gripping and made me want to keep ploughing through! I love the humor, the relationship between Aria and Nick and the comical aspects of the other characters like Hadriel and James.
Mr. Broody with Ms. Violence teamed up with Mr. Too-old-for-this 😂
This book started slow, but ended with a bang! I thoroughly enjoyed reading the continuation to Aria and Nick’s story and am so looking forward to the next book! The story picks up immediately where book one left off. Aria is getting better at not making bad decisions, but needs to still work on her short fuse. Nick, is still her safe place, the one who sees her but sometimes needs to be reminded of that. This story sees Aria learning the new world she got dragged into, with Nick by her side through it all. Hadriel made a great side character, he brought a lot of much needed levity to the story, as well as a lot of the answers they were looking for. There are lots of secrets and intrigue in this story and just as we get some answers, we have more questions, but all comes to light at the end. The story in general is told well, its dark and gritty, it’s easy to associate with the characters and the world the book is set in. That ending is devastating and heart wrenching , and it leaves you so hungry for more!
I just finished this book, and while usually I would sit with my thoughts for a bit I want to dive right into getting my review out.
phenomenal again, I'd like to say I'm happy to see some familiar faces returning as well as get some new ones, but that would be a lie. I want them to burn! 🥺 okay but no for real this book moved both at a fast pace and a slow pace while it didn't really pick up till the later half there was a lot of character development and growth between both Aria and Nick. While relationships were also tested to see who lies where. Crimson chains didn't have me crying like the first book but it does have me ready for war and vengeance that is yet to come and I'm sure it'll come! Go on underestimate our leads!
This book also got a few laughs out of me and broke some tension which was pleasant to say the least I didn't think Hadriel would be the one to do so. I am eager to see what the future holds for these characters I am growing to love.
This book is going to take you on a journey. There are so many twists and turns, ups and downs, and several moments that take you by surprise.
I really enjoyed the character development of the two main characters and watching them grow into themselves together. The spicy scenes were great, and the flirtatious banter between them super fun.
The overall vibe is pretty intense, but there’s also some great comic relief mixed in. There were a few scenes where I actually laughed out loud. Hadriel and the oak tree scene had me cackling 😂 While there are some points where the snark and sarcasm felt a bit excessive and unnecessary, I really enjoyed it most of the time.
When I noticed there was only like 10 pages left, I had an immediate sense of dread. I could FEEL the cliffhanger coming… and it was a doozy.
I loved getting to read this ARC, and I am already looking forward to the next book!
The comments, the banter, and the internal monologue are amazing. I finished this book in less than 12 hours. It was one of those books that had me going "I swear this is the last chapter." 10 chapters ago.
That ending though. I NEED book 3 😅
Some of my favorite quotes: • "I want my fangs!"
• "Behave, murder princess."
• “I need a fucking coma. And a drink. And maybe an exorcism.”
• “You said you were a queen. Declared it in front of half the royal court. Stopped a void strike with your hand, threatened to kill everyone with a smile on your face, and then strutted out like the villain in a power fantasy.”
• “She’s got alpha-fae-level compulsion. And newborn rage. It’s like watching a tiny, angry queen evolve in real time.”
• His forehead dropped to mine, eyes closing for a second. “They can have the crown,” he said. “They don’t get you.”
CRIMSON CHAINS BY @P. Carreira 🖤⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🖤🌶️🌶️ish 🖤badass MFC 🖤protective-obsessive MMC 🖤vampires 🖤fae
Aria & Nick She stopped waiting to be saved and became something dangerous. No more holding back she stepped into her power and fought for it Nick he's still protective, a little obsessive but he learned She didn’t need a saviour she needed someone to believe in her and to be by her side. And together they caused havoc 😉he also embraced his power finally
Hadriel Sharp and Cocky with like actually zero filter.🥰 Absolute menace energy but somehow he got better as the story went on. 🖤🖤🖤🖤 Darker, deeper, and way more addictive than book one. Crimson chains has Stronger world building, perfect tension, just enough spice. With a great amount of sarcasm and banter I could tell you more but you'll need to read it to find out for yourself Now I need book 3 Thank you and please 🖤🖤🖤
Thank you to P. Carreira for the opportunity to ARC read Crimson Chains 🖤
This picks up right where Broken Blood (Book 1) left off and the pace does not let up. I kept telling myself “just one more chapter”… which of course turned into several more. It was such a fun, addictive read.
There’s so much growth between the main characters as a couple, but Aria’s growth especially made me so happy to see. I loved watching her come into her own. And we got so much Hadriel in this one—his witty comments were some of my favorite moments (like the forest scene 😂).
I knew it was going to end on a cliffhanger… but knowing that doesn’t make it hurt any less. Now I’m just here impatiently waiting to see where the next book picks up because that cliffhanger did not come to play.
For the second time I’m saying “What the heck” after finishing a book in this series
Crimson Chains book 2 in the Hollow Blood series continues directly on from Broken Blood (Book 1) We continue on the journey of discovery with Nick our sexy vampire MMC and Aria our newly powered FMC along with the hugely funny Hadriel.
This book had me laughing, holding my breath and absolutely gobsmacked at times. The plot is complex with portal travel to different realms and courts. Each of which has been beautifully written by the author.
The book has female rage, yearning, spice and so much more. The cliffhanger ending leaves me needing book 3 when book 2 isn’t published yet
The hollow blood series should definitely be on your good reads TBR
Another banger by P. Carreira. This book picks up right where Broken Blood left off, so I highly recommend reading the first book to fully understand what’s happening here.
I loved seeing Ava’s growth and watching her step into her power, and I especially enjoyed how Nick always had her back. I would have loved to see more of James, but Haliel definitely made up for his absence with his sarcastic and witty comments. The scene where Haliel checks in on Aria was one of my favorites and had me laughing out loud.
That plot twist completely caught me off guard, and just a heads-up, this book ends on a brutal cliffhanger. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves dark romantasy, and I cannot wait for the next book.
Well, when the author said I’d have questions about this ending after wanting to talk about book one's ending, she was right because I have so many — the biggest is why!
I loved Nick and Aria in Broken Blood, but seeing how powerful they are together and separately is everything, especially considering how the book started.
A big highlight is watching Aria go from a timid girl to a literal queen; she truly is a force of nature.
I LOVE a good side character, and Hadriel was perfection. I know he’d love me saying so. He is so sassy, and his little side comments were always hilarious.
After the INSANE cliffhanger, I am even more excited for book three!
Grab your popcorn 🍿 as we follow Aria and Nick on a journey filled with magic, danger, and an unbreakable bond.. enemies to lovers vibes all the way ✨ Nick must adapt to his new and unexpected circumstances, while new magic creates a mysterious being with no name but a clear purpose 🌀 Forced to flee back into the familiar world of humans, secrets and betrayal begin to unfold in ways no one sees coming… As they battle ancient creatures 🐉 and learn to control their growing powers, a slow-burn love begins to spark 💫 Mixing magic, danger, betrayal, and a touch of romance, you’ve got yourself a storm… and her name is Aria 🌩️📖 I personally recommend dipping a fang.. or two into this series 🩸⛓️
I really liked this book. Aria truly came into her own in this one and became so much stronger. She’s no longer the victim, and I loved watching her step into her power.
Nicholas continues to be loyal, protective, and strong, and I absolutely adore these two together. The closer they became, the more powerful they were, and I loved that dynamic throughout the story.
That said… their families are terrible. 😒 I was so disappointed in Ethan, and Nicholas’s parents are honestly awful. The betrayal and manipulation made me so frustrated.
And THAT ending… rough. Brutal. Now I’m fully invested and absolutely ready for the 3rd and final book immediately because I need answer
Yes, yes, and yes. If you enjoyed book 1 Broken Blood, you will love Crimson Chains. We get amazing character development in this book for Aria and Nick individually and as a couple and I loved seeing Aria come into her own. The world building was exceptional. It gave the feeling of such a different world as opposed to some of the copy and paste romantasy reads. The spice was on point. The witty sarcasm ughh yes please. Was this a literary masterpiece, no. Was it a great time. 100% yessssss!! I definitely recommend and cannot wait for the next book.
Broken Chains is the second installment in the Hollow Blood series by P. Carreira. Thank you to the author for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review. 😊
Nick and Aria’s story is the perfect mix of unwavering love, fierce compassion, and “I will go morally black and burn the world down for you.”
I loved watching Aria grow into such an empowered version of herself through everything she’s endured. And Nick, his growth was just as satisfying, especially when he realized she didn’t need saving; she needed a partner who would stand beside her and empower her to be the badass she already was.
The magic system is layered and immersive, and I’m completely obsessed with the blend of vampires, fae, and alternate worlds.
The plot twists were twisting in the best way, and kept me locked in! I flew through book 1 and book 2, and that ending had me screaming. These two would absolutely become the villains for each other without hesitation, and I’m here for it.
I cannot wait to see what happens next!
(original review posted on on 4/10 and edited for minor revisions on 4/14.)
I actually really enjoyed this book! It’s dark, intense, and full of drama, and the whole connection between Aria and Nicholas really kept me hooked. I liked the mix of vampires, magic, and power struggles—it made the story feel exciting and different. The tension between the characters had me wanting to keep reading to see what would happen next.
Some parts did feel a little slow, and I wish we got a bit more depth from the characters at times, but it didn’t take away from the overall story for me.
Overall, it was a really good read and I’m glad I picked it up. I’d definitely read more in this series.
I went into Crimson Chains expecting dark romance, but this one really leans into the chaos in the best way. The relationships are intense, messy, and sometimes borderline toxic, but that’s what made it so addictive. There’s a constant push and pull between power, control, and emotion that kept me hooked the whole time.
The plot definitely deepens from the first book, with higher stakes and more secrets unraveling, though at times it felt a little overwhelming with everything going on. Still, I couldn’t look away. I devored it!
If you like your fantasy romance dark, complicated, and a little unhinged, this one delivers.
I really enjoyed being an ARC reader for this book. Thank you to P. Carreira for giving me this honour. It took me a little longer to read than I’d usually take just because of personal life getting in the way.
This book was an emotional rollercoaster yet again! And just when you thought things couldn’t get more complicated for Aria and Nick it did!! And that cliffhanger ending?!!! Really? So excited for the next book in this series to see what happens to Aria and Nick 🥲😬
5 stars Contains spice but it’s a nice level of spice 🌶️
