This book is written by a Pakistani scholar Abbu Yahya who is also the writer of a remarkable revolutionary book, ‘When life will begin’. This book ‘Quran ka Matloob Insaan’ is written in a very simple straightforward way with a clear objective of listing and explaining all those deeds which lead us to the heaven in the world hereafter as promised by Allah Almighty. After proper research Abu yahya has provided his readers with list of good deeds that are related to man’s connection with himself, society and women. Throughout the book references from Holy Quran and Holy Prophet’s words have given authenticity to the book, one cannot stop appreciating the hard work done by the writer for the compilation of this book. Allah has sent whole code of ethics for humanity through His book Holy Quran and human beings in general and muslims specifically are required to obey this conduct to live a smooth life and get reward in the life after death. Writer has beautifully divided the book into different chapters where each starts with the verse from holy Quran carrying Allah’s orders, these orders are further explained with reference to Ahadees. Though there is repetition at certain points but it is because they are interrelated.
I would here discuss some of the good deeds that were known to me through many years but this book has highlighted their importance to me. First one is related to ‘Charity’. We have always know that giving money and help to needy is a good deed but never did I thought that it is not we are likely to do rather it is what WE HAVE TO DO because if God has blessed us with anything, other people have their share in it and we are responsible to give them their share or we will be answerable. Similarly the deed of taking care of one’s chastity is again described in an amazing way by the writer as he states that chastity separated human beings from animals, if you don’t know how to control your sexual urge, it means that you are equal to an animal. These points made me think to live and act more wisely.
Abu Yahya has done a wonderful job in stating clearly the God is one and this belief in ONENESS of Allah is the ground for all other actions that we do in our daily lives. We need to remember that God is the creator of this world and HE loves us and expects us to be His obedient people. Allah wants us to be kind and generous in our dealings with our relatives, neighbors and needy. He does not like Pride, jealousy and backbiting because these negative traits drain us. Moreover Allah is generous so He wants us to be giving whether it is our good feelings, suggestion or money. We should not hold anything back because this makes us mean and insensitive.
The book is an eye opening read because the more you read, more you start analyzing the current situation of morality around you. It is surprising to note that so many evils around us are just because we have ignored these ethics sent to us through Holy Quran. This ignorance and disobedience has led us into a state where everything is topsy-turvey, may it be living standards, moral values or social integration. Allah has strictly prohibited us from showing off, exaggerated beliefs and addition of new trends in religious practices and it is no secret that we as Pakistani muslims have indulged ourselves in these deeds.
The book carries so many messages hidden and obvious that one cannot read it in one or two sittings, you read a page about good deeds and their details and your mind and heart is so full of thoughts and emotions (of guilt sometimes) that you take a break. Next time you pick the book and the same thing happens. In short book is a must read for those who really want to have comfort in this world and success in the next world.

Very basic, straight to the point and objective book which can serve as a guide to any cadre of reader. Writer has justified the title in a simplistic and easy way, wherein the core of the subject Quran and Insan are kept as a central piece throughout the book.
Book clears definite doubts encountered by many of us in our daily life thorough vivid explaination of QURAN and Hadith.
The inner core of the book is introspection and self improvement to follow and further the message of ALLAH and Quran.
A must read, guide/ refernce book.
