2 stars for me still reading
Have y’all ever watched a show or movie and it was bad real bad, the acting is bad, the plot is bad, but u couldn’t stop watching? Thats me with this book. First of all EVERY CHARACTER in this book are BAD parents. Scarlett nor Jacyn ever have that little boy. Not EVER. It’s like he only exists if someone says his name, but other than that no one but the d$mn nanny ever has him.
This second book has nothing to do with the first. It’s a completely different plot. Everyone has been graped, abused, trafficked, parents left or died, etc. I do like Kelsie’s and I like Jacob and belle. The rest of the characters not so much.
On top of that this damn girl been a virgin her whole life, and u telling me she was just so willing to jump on a stage to strip for her friend, when her husband has enough money to have paid off her debt? She outside talking to his brother with no clothes on? Everyone in the story is okay with all the kids getting graped when they were younger. The sister hasn’t been brought back up at all, it’s just like the Joel situation she no longer exists in the story. That was supposed to be Jacyn’s new wife whole purpose of marrying him.
Girl there is so much wrong with this story, and it’s not even making sense. For some reason though I can’t stop reading the train wreck so I am gonna read part 3, but if it go into a part 4, I will not be reading that. Although I’m willing to finish this series I will not read anything else by this author going forward.

Ooh man
This book had me screaming and damn near in tears as I was reading. Scarlett tried her hardest to get Jacyn back but to no avail and I’m happy as hell about that. Jacyn’s illness being bought to the forefront was definitely needed bc mental health is beyond important and is to be taken way more seriously than it is. Kelsius speaking his truth was more than a great thing even though Lydia tried to stop it. Bonnie was doing the most and she pissed me off. I love Belle and I’m proud of her for changing and even being with Jacob they definitely are a good fit. I can’t wait to hear about more of her story and I want Jaliyah to have a bond with both of her sisters We know now who the great love of Kelsius’ was and she played on that man’s heart with what she did this go around. I love how Melody is there for Jacyn even in his darkest times she really is the beauty to his beast and I love that for them both. Scarlett needs to just move on to someone new and stop being so damn messy all the time neither of them want her but she wants them. Ole girl needs to get a grip and just take care of her kids. I definitely want Breelyn & Melody to explore having a real bond as sisters it’s not too late. Damn that cliffhanger was crazy as hell bc what??!! You did that boo

Baby… when I say this book took me out, I mean it packed me up and shipped me somewhere unfamiliar. 😭
I don’t even know how many crash-outs I had while reading this. The amount of random “SERIOUSLY?!” that left my mouth? Unacceptable. And this is only Book 2. There’s still one more left.
I cannot look away. This entire circle of people wakes up every day like, “Alright, what drama we getting into today?” Because it is nonstop chaos. Nobody is resting. Nobody is thinking clearly. Everybody is reacting.
And Jacob?
Oh yeah. Me and him? We got beef.
And Cyn? At this rate I’m just waiting for him to fully snap and take over because the way things are spiraling? It’s only a matter of time.
Now let’s talk about Scarlett. I already told y’all I got a T-shirt waiting for her. Everything traces back to her, yet she keeps pointing fingers like she not the common denominator. Girl, be serious.

Scarlett is about as trifling as they get!!!…She wants both of the brothers and don’t want to see neither of them happy!!!…Somebody really needs to go digging in her yard, because she got a lot of time on her hands to mess with other ppl!!!…
Jacyn said he’s not leaving his wife and I’m glad that the baby Scarlett is carrying is not his!!!…
These brothers are catching it from everyone, but I’m glad that Kelsius put everyone on blast and notice about what happened to him!!!…His adoptive mother knows she was dirty for actually no like he was not affected by what happened to him as a child!!!…
Jacob is trying to catch a break, but Scarlett said nope and Belle is now in the know and hurt about it too!!!…
Dawna is a true dirty dog Ana I can’t wait to see what happens to her!!!…Why would you want to see your child get violated that like you were!!!…
Melody is going to make sure her sister and her husband is good!!!…

I didn’t think it could get any messier!
I was so wrong. Dawnna and Lottie have to be the messiest, haters ever. There are so many layers to the many secrets here. As soon as I begin to feel some sympathy for someone, because it’s a lot of generational trauma in this circle, they make me mad because they won’t leave well enough alone. I’m going to hurt you because I can’t have what I want, or you’re the reason I don’t have what I want. Some people show a new and different side to them, I guess just needing the right person to bring it out. Oh, the drama does not die down towards the end, it’s heightened tremendously. Straight opening book III cause it’s mind blowing. So many characters and how they tie together is Wow!!!

OMFG. This was so good. A perfect follow up to part one and now I’m in here stressed because I need part three right now. I knew we were heading straight for chaos and yep… we landed.
The pacing snapped, the drama hit, and I’m hooked even worse than before. I love when a sequel doesn’t drop the ball and this one kept the energy rolling.
Only reason this isn’t a full five is that ending. Because why would you do me like that. I hate a cliffhanger and yet here I am, fully invested and waiting like a clown with my Kindle charged.
Run me part 3 immediately!

Went In Blind, Came Out Obsessed!!
Goodness, I cannot get enough of this story! The plot, the twists, the turns whew, I can barely take it! 😂 I didn’t know I was going to love this book I went in blind just looking for a quick read, and now look at me absolutely hooked. Krystal really knew what she was doing with this one. I’m already itching for more, so she needs to go on ahead and drop the next book ASAP

Have to say pt 1 & 2 were probably on of the best books I have read in years . It gives you that old school urban fiction feel , like I can’t explain it ! It’s a bunch of drama , the characters make you want to hug or fight them , the spice is off the charts !!! Krystal you did your thing !!!
