Another of today's charity shop finds and one that will get a special spot on our geek bookshelves. We adored The Penguin of Death and although this isn't quite up there, it's another fun filed book of irreverent, humorous, poetry.

The theme this time is happiness and calm. Each poem is accompanied by a perfect illustration of the scene being depicted.

It's barely a book as it has limited pages, yet it does possess sentiments to remind the reader of examples or endless sources of happiness present in the world. "Short and sweet" as it shares the messages of happiness, thus, allows readers to carry the pocket sized text around and peruse or re-read at anytime as the messages do not lose meaning with each new viewing of the text.

Not one of my favorite Monkton books. It is a collection of musings the author had on happiness.
