This short novella is perfect for the long cold wintery nights. Gwen the FMC , is at the cabin working on her next novel and trying to overcome her writers block. Relaxing and watching the snowfall, drink in hand, she attempts to make the words come together. What materializes are three figures in masks. Are they real or just a figment of her imagination. Why do they seem to be in synch with her story?

This book loves to play with reality and I was all for it. The stag, the skull, and black mask each willing to torture her in their own special way, yet not afraid to take it to the next level by playing in tandem. This book will have you second guessing what is true.

The heat contained in here, will warm you through any cold night. The spice was expertly crafted and will leave scorch marks.

Jenika Snow’s writing style is direct, accessible, and sharp. She does not waste words and keeps the pace high, which makes ‘Snowed In, Tied Down’ feel like a feverish rush from the very first page. The three male characters are portrayed as dark, dominant, and intense, matching the way the line between reality and Gwen’s imagination begins to blur.

Gwen is a strong character, but her writer’s block and the isolation of the mountains put her under pressure. This vulnerability makes her perspective compelling. The question of whether she creates the monsters or they shape her lingers over the story like a threatening shadow.

Although Snow does not focus heavily on detailed descriptions of the environment, the atmosphere is powerful. De drie mannelijke personages worden neergezet als duister, dominant en intens, precies zoals de grens tussen werkelijkheid en Gwen’s verbeelding begint te vervagen.

“Three masked strangers who forced their way into her cabin and made her their little toy”

This is a dark erotica romance where the line blurs between fear and desire.

Gwen is a romance author suffering from writers block where she finds herself stuck in her cabin in the middle of the woods during a blizzard. She thought getting away from the world would inspire her to start writing again but little does she know her inspiration will come in the form of three masked strangers 🥵🥵

When the three masked men turn up at her cabin she doesn’t know if they are real or a dream for they looked like the types of characters she would write in her books. She should be terrified but not enough that they send a thrill through her.

They were playing with her and when the power goes out in her cabin they delight in her fear. “ You wrote us here Gwen. And we’ve come to give you want you want”. Her own fantasies are going to be used against her.

She should be afraid of them, their presence steal her breath away, she should fear them but all she feels is the dark forbidden desire she has for all of them. When they take control of all of her all she has to do is give and listen.

She was their play thing, their beautiful filthy thing to play with, a doll to use for their pleasure she could’ve escape even if she wanted to. She loved the pain and pleasure they were giving her, she didn’t want them to stop.
The world faded away as they claimed her inch by inch and she had no other choice.

⭐️⭐️⭐️½ | Snowed In, Tied Down – Jenika Snow

Short, sexy little reads are basically survival mode for me right now, and this one fit perfectly into that “keep the streak alive while travelling” category.

Snowed in. A remote cabin. A romance author with writer’s block. And then—three masked men who were supposed to scare her back into creativity… but very quickly decided they wanted more than that.

The premise was fun and indulgent, and honestly? Three masked men showing up during a snowstorm is already doing half the work for me. The forced proximity, the tension, the immediate shift from “this is unsettling” to “oh… this is dangerous but hot” worked really well in audio format.

The dirty talk was the real standout here. It was delicious, confident, and exactly the kind of thing that pulls you out of your own head after a long day. The audiobook especially made it easy to get lost in the atmosphere for a couple of hours — low effort, high payoff.

That said, I do wish the build-up had lasted a bit longer. The men go from hired intimidation to full-on obsession very fast, and while I didn’t hate it, it did make the emotional and psychological tension feel a little rushed. I wanted more anticipation, more fear-to-desire conflict before everything melted into heat.

Overall, this was a fun, spicy, slightly unhinged holiday novella with masked men, snowed-in isolation, and indulgent vibes. Not a top-tier favorite for me, but absolutely enjoyable for what it is — especially if you’re in the mood for something quick, sexy, and easy to disappear into.

This is a quick and spicy novella that’s perfect for slipping into the holiday mood. True to Ms. Snow’s signature style, it’s an unapologetically steamy read that wastes no time turning up the heat.

The story follows Gwen, an author battling writer’s block, who escapes to a remote cabin in the middle of a blizzard, because why not have to deal with a blizzard on top of everything else? Between being completely snowed in, losing all signal, and having nowhere to run, things are already tense for Gwen. That tension only escalates when three masked men begin watching from outside the cabin.

Gwen can’t tell if her imagination is spiraling out of control or if the characters from her book have somehow stepped off the page, but one thing is clear: the stag, the skull, and the man in the black mask are there for her.

This novella delivers a fast, fiery ride from start to finish. While the ending isn’t quite what you might expect, it still works. The story leans heavily into the spice and can be a bit confusing at times, especially since the characters don’t receive names until the end. Still, I enjoyed it, and despite the heavy heat, there’s enough plot to keep things engaging. And yes, there is a happily ever after for Gwen.

Jenika Snow always knows how to write filthy smutty novellas & I always eat it up every time! Now going into this one be warned the smut is definitely more than the plot, but there is a happy ending if you like three masked men having their way with you for the rest of your life… which if it’s anything like this story I’m sure nobody would be having any issues with that. Gwen is a dark erotic romance author & she is having a bit of writers block so she takes her friends advice & goes to a cabin to work through it alone when a snowstorm comes & when she believes she is all alone, but that changes when three masked men decide to pay her a visit & play into the fantasies she writes about. Holy smokes was this story hot & heavy, I mean these three men really went above & beyond in every aspect. I was a bit shocked when the truth all came out about Kali but hey it was kind of a blessing times three. Definitely will be thinking about this book every time I look at garland thats for sure! Overall such a good & quick read if you’re looking for a novella with hardly any plot but it sure makes up for in spice!

Gwen isn’t sure if it’s her overactive imagination or if the men from her book have somehow come to life, but one thing is certain. The stag, the skull, and the black mask have come for her.

This novella takes you on one hot, thrilling ride, and while the ending isn’t quite what you expect, it works. I loved that even though the story is mostly spice, there’s still enough plot to keep things interesting, and yes, there is a HEA.

Three men one woman which should be a job let me tell you something mid turns into the best kind of knocking boots in the world 😏

No it does have an element of surprise and there is a huge plot twist at the end but you do get to see into the mindset of how an author can burn out and I can say being a baby author myself, jenkia did this so well she showed exactly what it looks like in the headspace of a writer.

I was so into all these masks attention to detail is like everything in this book it may be a short book but it packs a mighty punch.

It is less than 90 pages so you are in for a relatively quick ride but it is so on the edge of your seat.

Overall I couldn't put it down and I loved the ending to it.

Gwen is an erotic romance writer who has escaped to an isolated cabin in the snowy mountains to quell her writer’s block so she can finish her book and submit it to her editor. While she’s writing, odd things seem to be happening. She’s sure it’s just her imagination…until she discovers these strange events are very real. She sees three figures: Black Mask, Stag Mask, and Skull Mask. Once she accepts that these three large men are not her imagination playing tricks on her, things pick up pretty quickly.

This is a quick read—and a very hot one. Check the trigger warnings, there are a few. Once the heat starts, it doesn’t let up. I loved the masked stalkers, and how they kept Gwen on the edge of fear and desire. It was a fantastic story. There are a few twists and surprises, but I won’t spoil that.

OH MY GODS. This holiday novella was so spicy and smutty, I can proudly say I have placed it on the one handed read shelf.

Enter The Skull, The Stag, and The Black Mask... oh, and the anxiety? IMMEDIATE. Jenika Snow’s writing is so vivid it felt like I was trapped in that cabin with Gwen, heart racing with every knock. The stalk€r-level anticipation had me tense, the spice was HOT AF 🥵(yes, this is absolutely #onehandedreading), and the kink? Unhing€d in the best way. Then BOOM! THAT plot twist at the end? Jaw. On. Erotic romance writer Gwen Ash is in a remote cabin in the mountains trying to finish her book. Writer’s block is not helping. But things seem to take an odd turn and what seems to be happening is also playing out in her story. Is she in danger or are these masked men here for something else? Let me say that the story is H.O.T. As you read, you feel drawn in. Who hasn’t had naughty thoughts about hot men and being isolated. But beyond that, you find out why. I have to say I was surprised. I could understand her anger. But she was one lucky woman. I love the names she gave them: Black Mask, Skull Mask, and the Stag Mask.

The story starts out with Gwen, an author who’s been having writers block, out in a cabin all by herself. A snow storm hits and she starts hearing footsteps and knocks on her door. Eerily enough, it’s somewhat what she has been writing about, so spooky.

Three men make their way in her cabin and boy oh boy are they hot and hunky. She feels scared but oddly enough also very tempted. What transpires after that is just something she never expected, these three men worship her body and her emotions become entangled.

What will happen once the storm passes, and truths are laid bare, will she want them to stay? You’ll have to read the story to find out.

SPICY short novella of an author with writers block and three mysterious masked strangers who take what they want.

If you want a short and incredibly spicy and smutty read, buckle up! Gwen and her men have a few very dirty snowed in days ahead of them.
The plot twist at the end took me by surprise. Not what I anticipated, but that just made it better.
I wish, it was a little bit longer and more fleshed out in the relationship part between the fourth of them, but it definitely delivered what it promised! (And that's smut, if you're still wondering.)🔥👀🍆

Sweet and sinful

Loved this holiday romance! The steam and spice is fantastic but the writing itself is what makes it shine. The descriptions of the Christmassy features like the tinsel/tree, the tension and the setting are so gorgeously written. Loved every part of this and might just have to make it an annual read for the holidays! The chemistry between each character was phenomenal and Jenika’s ability to slow down and create such a haunting atmosphere in the more creepy, nerve-wrecking parts was incredible. 10/10 recommend!!

This was a quick and extra spicy read. Our FMC, Gwen, decided a trip to a remote cabin would help break her writer's block. Unfortunately for her (or fortunately for her?) a blizzard sets in and she has some unexpected houseguests.

Three masked men appear from nowhere and seem to know everything she desires. Are these really her characters who've come to life or is she loosing her mind?

The way the book started off I wasn't sure what direction it was going to go in. Things definitely turned out differently than I thought they would but I wasn't disappointed. There is a little bit of plot so it's not just straight up smut. So, if you're looking for a quick spicy read with Christmas and wintertime vibes you should check this one out.

I love Jenika so much and this book continues the love. It was so good. I have been in the mood for spicy holiday reads and this book is it. This book is filled with delicious smut with three hot tattooed mask wearing men. It was a short read I just devoured. The writing was so good and I was obsessed with twists this book has.
