4🌟, 3🌶️

This book was such a fun mix of chaos, tension, and heart.

Brant and Regan’s chemistry hooked me immediately, and their constant bickering and push-pull dynamic made this ridiculously easy to binge. Watching Brant desperately try to stay professional while Regan bulldozed through every one of his defenses was honestly so entertaining.

What really made this work for me though was the heart underneath all the tension. Regan was stubborn, smart, and impossible not to root for, while Brant slowly unraveling over her had me smiling the entire time. I also loved the pediatric hospital setting and the cozy small-town Pulse Point atmosphere because it added warmth to all the angst and slow-burn tension.

A few moments felt slightly repetitive, and I wanted a little more depth in some of the heavier scenes, but overall this was still such an addictive romance. Between the banter, hospital drama, chemistry, and softer moments hidden underneath all the chaos, I really enjoyed this book.

It was easy to get lost in such an engaging story.

Thank you to The Author Agency for the ARC. This is my honest, voluntary review.

Where restraint starts to crack

‘Doctor’s Bossy Match’ thrives on a tension that is never fully allowed to explode, and that is exactly what makes it so compelling. A doctor who has built his entire career on rules and control is suddenly confronted with the exact opposite: Regan.

Regan is not subtle, not careful, and certainly not someone who fits neatly into expectations. She is a disruption in a life built on order, and that contrast is present in every interaction between them. What begins as irritation and professional responsibility slowly shifts into something far more dangerous: attention that lingers, even when it should not.

What stands out most is the constant internal struggle. He knows what is at stake, he repeats it to himself, he tries to maintain distance, yet his actions begin to betray him long before his thoughts do. Regan is not a passive counterpart in this dynamic either. She actively challenges, provokes, and tests boundaries, while still keeping parts of herself carefully hidden beneath her confidence.

The hospital setting and its politics add another layer of pressure. There is tension not only between them, but also surrounding them, making every decision feel like it carries weight and consequence.

What lingers most is not what happens, but what almost happens. That fragile space where control slowly starts to blur into surrender, without either of them fully admitting it.

A story about rules that hold firm… until someone decides they might not be unbreakable after all.

Sometimes it is not love that is dangerous, but the moment you stop walking away.

🌶️🌶️🌶️ Spice: 2.5-3/5

It was such an enjoyable medical romance! Between the forced proximity, boss’s daughter dynamic, and undeniable chemistry, this story kept me turning the pages.

One of my favorite parts was the banter between the main characters. Their playful exchanges made their growing connection feel natural, while their shared experiences and similarities helped create a deeper emotional bond. I especially loved watching him guide and mentor her without ever trying to change who she was. Instead, he consistently encouraged her, believed in her abilities, and uplifted her every step of the way.

The romance was sweet, supportive, and packed with enough tension to keep things interesting. If you enjoy medical romances with forced proximity, strong character growth, and a hero who helps his leading lady shine while loving her for exactly who she is, this one is definitely worth picking up!

Doctor's Bossy Match by Sharon Woods completely hooked me from the start 🩺🔥 This was such a fun, tension-filled medical romance with the perfect mix of workplace drama, emotional vulnerability, slow-burn chemistry, & small-town comfort vibes. I absolutely flew through this book because every chapter kept me wanting “just one more” until suddenly it was way too late at night 😂

Brant and Regan’s chemistry was INSANE 😮‍💨 From the moment they meet, the tension between them practically becomes its own character. Every argument, teasing comment, & “you drive me crazy” interaction felt loaded with chemistry. I love a good forbidden workplace romance, & this one absolutely delivered. Watching Brant desperately try to stay professional while Regan bulldozed straight through every wall he put up was elite entertainment.

And Regan ❤️ I adored her. She could’ve easily fallen into the spoiled boss’s daughter stereotype, but there was so much more depth to her character. She’s smart, stubborn, fearless, & constantly trying to prove herself as a doctor while also navigating the emotional pressure of returning home to work under her father at Pulse Point Hospital. I really appreciated that the story explored how exhausting it can feel when your dreams, career, & identity all start shifting underneath you. Regan challenged Brant constantly, & their chemistry worked so well because neither of them ever backed down from the other.

Brant 😮‍💨🔥 Whew. This man was hanging onto professionalism by the thinnest possible thread. He’s structured, career-focused, emotionally guarded, & determined to become Chief of Pediatrics, but Regan completely throws his carefully controlled world into chaos. What made him especially lovable though was how incredible he was with his pediatric patients. Underneath all the bossy doctor energy, Brant is deeply caring, protective, & emotionally softer than he initially lets people see. Watching him slowly unravel emotionally over Regan had me absolutely obsessed.

One thing I really loved was how grounded the romance felt despite all the tension. The story takes its time letting the emotional connection grow, so their relationship never felt overly dramatic or forced. Beneath all the banter, flirting, & explosive chemistry, there’s genuine respect between them both professionally & personally. Watching Brant slowly let go of always playing it safe while Regan allowed someone to truly see past her defenses made the emotional moments hit even harder.

The hospital setting added so much intensity too 🩺 Between the long shifts, emotional patient situations, hospital gossip, & constant close proximity, the tension between them felt unavoidable in the best way. I also really loved the small-town Pulse Point atmosphere & side characters. The supporting cast added warmth, humor, & personality without ever pulling focus away from Brant & Regan, which made the entire world feel cozy & immersive.

Overall, Doctor’s Bossy Match was emotional, addictive, comforting, steamy, & impossible to put down ❤️ If you love forbidden workplace romances, medical romances, emotionally repressed doctor MMCs, strong heroines, slow-burn chemistry, protective energy, bratty banter, & small-town vibes, this book is absolutely worth picking up 🩺✨

I am so grateful to the Author Agency for this ARC for which I am leaving an honest review.

This book had me absolutely kicking my feet and grinning like an idiot the entire time. 🩺🔥 Brant and Regan’s chemistry was INSANE. The tension between them was practically its own character. Every argument, every glare, every “you drive me crazy” moment felt like a lit match getting tossed into gasoline.

I love a good forbidden workplace romance and Doctor’s Bossy Match delivered EVERYTHING. Brant trying so hard to stay professional while Regan bulldozed straight through every wall he put up? Elite entertainment. The man was hanging onto self-control by the thinnest thread and I was living for it.

And Regan??? I adored her. She could’ve easily been written as just the spoiled boss’s daughter trope, but there was so much more underneath that attitude. She was stubborn, fearless, smart, and constantly pushing to prove herself. I loved watching Brant slowly realize she wasn’t just some distraction. She challenged him at every turn and honestly half their chemistry came from the fact they could never stop pushing each other’s buttons.

Brant was SO gone for her and didn’t even realize how obvious he was. The protective energy? The jealousy? The constant internal battle of “I should not want her” while very clearly wanting her every second anyway??? Delicious. This man was one stressful hospital shift away from combusting.

The hospital setting made everything feel even more intense too. Long shifts, high emotions, close quarters, hospital gossip swirling around them like vultures… it created the perfect pressure cooker for all that tension to explode. And when it finally DID?? Worth every second of the slow build.

What I really loved was that underneath all the banter and steam, there was genuine emotional connection growing between them. You could feel Brant starting to let go of always playing it safe, and Regan slowly letting someone see past the walls she hides behind. Their relationship felt messy and addictive in the best way.

I devoured this book so fast. One more chapter turned into me reading until stupid o’clock because there was no way I was putting Brant and Regan down. If you love bossy doctors, forbidden romance, workplace tension, strong heroines, and chemistry hot enough to short-circuit hospital equipment, this book is absolutely for you. Five stars EASY. 🖤✨

(I received an ARC for this book)

trigger warnings will be at the bottom of this review, to avoid spoilers
Both MCs are pediatric doctors, and this is a large focus of the story. Medical situations involving children are on page. An MC has panic/PTSD in connection to a childhood health scare.

It’s only book two, but this is such a comfy cozy series! Even with the big emotions! And this one definitely did not lack emotions! There’s plenty of workplace romancing, flirting over coffee, brat behavior, and BIG emotions about respect and following dreams! A meetcute mishap turns into something much more! Brant was very unprepared for getting his boss’s daughter as his resident. Regan was even less prepared for what being back in her hometown with her dad meant for her. Brant has been making his job his main priority, but having Regan under his nose has things feel a little jumbled. The respect they have for each other was VERY attractive. Not just to each other, but as a reader too! I loved that this focused on the idea of what happens when dreams change. And what happens when you realize they don’t matter as much if you’re doing it alone.

My Favorite Quotes:
• “I need you.”
• “God, you’re such a fucking brat.”
• “I want to watch you fall apart. Need to see what you look like when you come.”
• “The way you look at me, the way you talk back, the way you act like you can push me. It drives me wild. Makes me want to spank that bratty attitude right out of you.”
• “Is this what my brat needs? Me to put you in your place?”
• “Dreams change. We grow. We evolve. And that’s the beauty of it. You’re allowed to change your mind. You’re allowed to follow a new dream.”
• “I just want to be where you are.”

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ OH MY GOD. MY JAW IS ON THE FLOOR!!! 😭😭😭

I am completely, utterly, 100% emotionally compromised by Sharon Woods's Doctor's Bossy Match! I picked this up expecting a cute medical romance and instead got an absolute masterclass in banter, tension, and petty crimes in the grocery store aisle. I am vibrating into another dimension!!

🩺 THE MAIN DUO (I WOULD DIE FOR THEM)
- Dr. Regan Thomas: A brilliant, fierce pediatric resident returning to her hometown. She is an icon, a legend, and the queen of chaotic coffee choices.

- Dr. Brant Harrison: The ultra-competent attending pediatric cardiologist who is so uptight he probably sleeps in a suit. He’s grumpy, gorgeous, and fiercely protective.

The chemistry between Regan and Brant is literal electricity. They meet-ugly in the dairy aisle over the very last bottle of vanilla creamer and it is pure chaos. When she walks into the hospital the next day and realizes he is her supervisor?! I SCREAMED.

💬 QUOTES THAT LIVES RENT-FREE IN MY MIND
“I take my coffee 80/20 creamer to caffeine ratio, and without, I can’t drink the liquid smudge,” — Regan (the absolute logic of a tired doctor!)

“I run a tight schedule. You’ll need to be on time, know your charts, and above all else… listen.” — Brant trying to be the bossy alpha (and failing to scare her).

“Not bad… for a creamer thief.” — Brant showing a tiny bit of begrudging respect and making my heart do backflips! 🫠

🏷️ THE TROPE CHECKLIST
- Enemies-to-Lovers (Creamer Rivals to Soulmates)
- Workplace / Mentor-Mentee
- Forced Proximity (Stuck together for 12 months!)
- Small Town Hospital Drama
- Grumpy x Sunshine (ish)

The pacing is phenomenal, the tension is suffocating in the best way, and the workplace gossip columns add the perfect amount of spicy drama! I devoured this in one single sitting and my book hangover is going to be massive.

This is one of those books that hooks you from the very beginning and keeps you turning pages until the end.

I loved how Brant and Regan first met without knowing who the other person was. Their introduction was memorable, funny, and honestly had me smiling from the start—especially when Regan basically stole his coffee creamer. It was the perfect setup for a relationship filled with chemistry, banter, and tension.

Brant and Regan had such great chemistry together. Their connection felt natural, and I loved watching their relationship develop despite all the obstacles standing in their way. Between the forbidden romance aspect, the boss’s daughter trope, and the resident-doctor dynamic, there was always something keeping me invested in their story.

One thing I especially enjoyed was the hospital setting. Having spent a lot of time in hospitals over the years myself, the environment felt familiar and easy to picture. I could genuinely imagine Brant and Regan being doctors I might encounter in real life, which made the story feel even more immersive.

This book was engaging, fun, addictive, and incredibly easy to get lost in. Every time I thought I would put it down, I found myself wanting to read just one more chapter.

If you enjoy:
✨ Forbidden Romance
✨ Boss’s Daughter
✨ Medical Romance
✨ Workplace Romance
✨ Strong Chemistry
✨ Banter & Tension
✨ Doctor x Resident

then I definitely recommend adding this one to your TBR.

OK, wow!! I did not see this coming. Pulse Point just keeps getting better and better! I believe this is Sharon’s best book OF ALL to date! I laughed. I cried. I giggled. I got angry. I was frustrated. I recognized family dynamics that matched some of my own. I sighed contently when it was finished. THEN I IMMEDIATELY READ IT AGAIN!!! I rarely do that – I will eventually return to my favorites, visiting them again like old friends (and there is no doubt this book sits firmly in that category), but almost never upon finishing a book do I turn around and read it again right away. Many of the things I will say about this book, about Brant and Regan, are the same things I have said about the previous Pulse Point books: “If you are looking for unrealistic, unattainable, unbelievable, then this is not the book for you. If you are looking for great character development and relatable situations with that slow burn (and just the perfect amount of spice that adds to the story and doesn’t distract because there is nothing else) then this is the book for you!” I will note that this book might be a LITTLE bit more spicy, but it totally fits and flows, and is a true expression of the characters and their development, and not an excuse for no plot or substance to the book. READ THIS BOOK! And if you haven’t read Doctor’s Secret Match, READ THAT BOOK! The only complaint I have, little as it is, would be that it would be great to see a character from one of the previous books in the series, in the coffee shop, at the gym, guys night, around the hospital. Those little Easter Eggs can be priceless. Maybe in the next book?

Sharon Woods, the woman that you are.

I absolutely adored this book. It was fun, emotional, ridiculously addictive, and had me kicking my feet from start to finish. If you love forbidden romance, workplace romance, proximity, grumpy sunshine, and a man who is secretly the biggest softie alive, this one is for you.

Brant and Reagan were everything. Watching Brant slowly soften around Reagan was so satisfying, especially because she absolutely gave as good as she got. Their chemistry was incredible, the banter was fun, and the tension? Lord help me. I genuinely sent Sharon multiple voice messages because I was struggling to read some of the spicy scenes in public without blushing.

What I loved most, though, was that beneath all the romance, there was so much heart. Brant's backstory absolutely got me. Here's this brilliant doctor who wants to save everyone while carrying his own struggles, and it added so much depth to his character. I also loved seeing Reagan's relationship with her father evolve throughout the story - and major points to Brant for standing up to him when it mattered. Massive green flag energy.

One thing Sharon consistently does so well is balance romance, emotion, and plot. Her books are packed with feelings, but it's all the little nuanced moments between characters that really make them stand out.

And finding out that Sharon previously worked as a nurse made so much sense. The medical side of the story felt authentic because it comes from genuine experience, and I always love seeing authors weave parts of their own lives into their books.

An absolute five-star read and another reminder that Sharon Woods simply does not miss.

An unexpected love match.
This is a sweet story of two intense people who connect. Dr. Brant Harrison is a brilliant pediatric Doctor at the local hospital in Smalltown Pulse Point. Brant is all work and chasing the next step in his career, Chef of the Pediatric department. He is awesome with the kids, making them feel safe and cared for while they are ill and staying in a cold hospital, but his world is about to be turned upside down.
Regan Thomas has come home for her Residency in Pediatrics. She’s been living and learning in the big city of New York, but chose to come home to live with her dad this final year of training. Her dad is a rigid man who finds fault in everything, especially her. Even worse, he is the head of the Pulse Point Hospital where Regan will be working. Dr. Fraser Thomas is treating his daughter like a screw-up instead of the top of her class, Doctor. Brant is chosen as Regan’s mentor, and he immediately sees that she is very good, well-educated, beautiful, and caring. They are both focused on their careers and the patients, but they work so well together. She brings fun into Brant’s structured life and loves to tease him. They are a perfect couple.
I love small town Pulse Pointe and the background characters. The hospital setting is so interesting. Brant is a wonderful man, and I am so happy he opened his heart to Regan. I received an ARC copy of this story from the Author, and this is my opinion. Linda

This was such a quick, comforting read for me—I genuinely flew through it 😭✨
Brant and Regan had that instant chemistry where you just know something is there, but the story takes its time letting it actually build. I really appreciated that neither of them felt overly dramatic or frustrating just for plot convenience. Their connection felt steady, grounded, and earned.
The romance had this soft, slow-burn feel, but with a constant underlying tension that kept me fully engaged. Sharon Woods does a great job of stretching those quieter emotional moments so they still feel meaningful and satisfying.
I also really enjoyed the side characters—they added warmth and personality without pulling focus away from the main couple, which made the whole world feel cozy and complete.
Nothing here is reinventing the wheel, but it doesn’t need to. It’s a comforting, easy romance with just enough heart and tension to make it really enjoyable.
✨ what to expect ✨
🩺 Medical romance
🏡 Small-town vibes
💛 Slow-burn chemistry
⚡ Forbidden / off-limits tension
👥 Strong side characters
📖 Light, feel-good tone
Overall: a sweet, easy, satisfying read that’s perfect when you want something comforting and low-stress 🤍

Doctors Bossy Match by Sharon Woods
Pulse Point Doctors book 2

I absolutely loved, devoured, INHALED this one! The absolute instant chemistry and edging between the main characters kept me absolutely enthralled. This was a such a fantastic workplace romance with tension through the roof!
I loved Reagan so much! She was this bratty, witty and lil bit spoiled FMC. She also was so fierce in her job and everyone fell in love with her as a doctor. Returning home to finish her residency, in her somewhat estranged father’s hospital. She really does overcome so much.
Brant, oh how I adore this grumpy, broody man!! He’s vying for the Chief of Paediatrics and of course his boss is keeping a watchful eye on his relationship with Raegan whom he has warned Brant off of.
Brant and Regan try so hard not to fall into their attraction for one another. There are so many reasons that cannot be together so they keep it a secret, or so they think.
Until Regan leaves for Brant. So he can get his dream job, she accepts her dream job back in New York.
The way Brant get Regan back WITH the help of her father is just sooo “if he wanted to he would” 🥰😍
I LOVED this book! So much!!
Highly Recommend

Regan is completing her medical residency at a hospital, where unfortunately her dad works. Her dad & her don’t have the best relationship, and she’s working with Brant who has an attitude about “babysitting the hospital director’s daughter” He has been working towards the Chief of Pediatrics and of course she’s only planning to stay for a year, insert the forbidden tension!

Great banter, forced proximity and some fun spice. The “meet cute” with the coffee creamer was cute. I loved that they pushed each other’s buttons. But also saw each other as strong & capable. Loved seeing them both defend each other in quiet moments. The cute moments with the kiddos were fun to see. The Pulse Point gossip columnist always makes me laugh. The dad definitely frustrated me in the beginning, with commenting on the “attention” she received, but he redeemed himself a bit toward the end. The “Harrison Bingo” was hilarious. A tiny bit of a slow burn but the tension & build up is great!

Book 2 in the Pulse Point Series. You can definitely read out of order, and I recommend both if you enjoy medical romance, banter, spice with some enemies/dislike to love!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | 🌶🌶

Really enjoyed Doctor’s Bossy Match by Sharon Woods! The workplace romance and forbidden “boss’s daughter” tropes made this one extra juicy, and I loved the opposites-attract dynamic between Regan the FMC and the MMC Brant. They shouldn’t have worked together as well as they did, but somehow they absolutely did!!

The tension and chemistry were built so well throughout the story, and this is exactly what I look for in doctor romances the hospital setting and medical side actually felt important to the story instead of just being there for aesthetics.

Also I was personally horrified when Regan stole his coffee creamer 😂 but somehow the author turned it into such a fun recurring thing for the couple that I recovered.

I also love that this series is made up of true interconnected standalones. Same small town and hospital setting, but the stories and characters don’t overlap, so you can absolutely read this without reading book one first.

AND I still haven’t worked out who Doctor Whisperer is and it’s driving me insane!! I need answers immediately.

📖-Doctor’s Bossy Match by Sharon Woods
Wow this is my first book by Sharon Woods and it had me hooked from the very beginning! The dedication had me my interest peaked being someone who has battled health issues since I was a child and my mom always having to fight to get me the best care.
Brant and Regan’s relationship is electric from the beginning. The tension that builds from the banter , teasing, and driving each other crazy moments. This is a forbidden romance which always gets my interest add in Brant trying to not cross professional boundaries and Regan saying screw it and going for it was very entertaining.
People may think Regan is were she is because of her dad being the boss’s daughter but she earns it and puts in the work she’s smart, bold, and fearless which drives Brant nuts at times.
I loved how Regan never backed down to Brant and he didn’t to her just because her dad’s the boss.
The chemistry between these two builds over time and felt more realistic than some romance books. The respect these two had for each other was great. While this book has small town vibes the hospital setting adds a level of intensity to the story.

It's always a happy surprise when a new Sharon Woods book pops up in my emails! I've been lucky enough to be a part of her ARC Team, for who knows how long at this point. I've probably read most of her books. So when I say that this has been my favourite one yet, you know it's good!

I am loving this Pulse Point series. A small friendly town, where you always pass someone you know on the street, the coffee barista knows your order and the nurses get to play pranks on the doctors. There's also a resident Turkey, unfortunately he didn't get a mention in this one and I'm bummed 😂

This story is about Regan and Brant. Both doctors. Both work focussed. Both coffee creamer obsessed. Regan's a resident assigned to Dr Brant Harrison and their meet cute is creamer theft! Safe to say they butted heads a little 😆

Obviously there's a spark between these two and that spark leads to some spicy flames 🔥

Really loved these two together. The biggest drama? Been too alike! Them getting their happily ever after made me so happy. I hope they get a mention in a later book so I can see the full happy ever after!!

Doctor’s Bossy Match is a great sneaking around, trying to resist, forbidden romance.

Tropes:
🩺 Doctor x Med Student
🩺 Boss’s Daughter
🩺 Fobidden/Secret Romance
🩺 Expiration Date
🩺 Small Town

Regan is almost done with her residency, and is going to finish it up at her dad’s hospital. She’s already counting down the days where she can move back with her mom and work at her dream hospital. She is caught off guard when she’s assigned to work with Brant, a very good looking daughter that challenges her, but values her thoughts and opinions. They try to fight the attraction…but…

I really enjoyed Regan and Brant’s story. They both had a lot in common with wanting a person, but feeling like their dreams and aspirations come first. She has a strained relationship with her dad and feeling like her thoughts aren’t respected or heard, but Brant gives her that, which leads to her showing how smart and talented of a doctor she is. The chemistry with the sneaking around was fire! I also loved that this is a pediatric medical setting, and that leads to some fun, sweet, and lighthearted moments.

This was such a good light read. I throughly enjoyed the storyline and the characters. Sharon does such a good job at creating tension between the two main characters. Brant and Regan are opposites but also so similar. They meld so well together.

Their circumstances aren’t anything unique to romance readers but the way Sharon draws the tension out and every little interaction makes it feel extra special. The friends and family on the side were perfect supports to the plot and characters overall development.

I appreciated that both Brant and Regan had their own battles to go through while also trying to push away and eventually cave into their magnetic pull towards one another. They are both written realistically and I could totally get behind their decisions even if I didn’t like them. It made the most sense and it added to their love story with the maturity in which they handled everything. It was cute, sweet, filled with tension, the writing was well done and I enjoyed reading it.

I flew through this one. It had that perfect balance of sweet moments, quiet character growth, and just enough tension to keep me turning pages saying “okay… maybe one more chapter.”

Brant and Regan were one of those pairings where you can see the chemistry immediately, but the story takes its time letting everything unfold. I liked that neither of them felt overdramatic or frustrating just for the sake of plot. They both had their own things going on, which made their connection feel earned instead of instant.

The romance itself felt soft but still had that little electric current running underneath every conversation and interaction. Sharon really knows how to stretch those moments in the best way.

I also loved the side characters. They added warmth and personality without stealing focus from the main story.

Nothing about the setup reinvented romance, but it did not need to. It was comforting, engaging, and had enough heart to make it stand out. Definitely a great choice if you want something light, cute, and satisfying. ✨

I really struggled at the beginning of this one because I just did not like the FMC. She came across as incredibly immature, disrespecting her mentor, crossing boundaries, and making choices that felt unprofessional (seriously… the creamer situation?!). It made it hard to connect with her at first. But as the story progressed and she began to mellow out, showing real growth and emotional maturity, I found myself enjoying it.

The romance really stood out; slow-burn, grounded, and built on genuine respect beneath all the tension. That said, I’m usually not a fan of third-act breakups, but this one actually worked and added to the story.

The hospital setting and small-town Pulse Point vibes added great atmosphere, and I loved the emotional growth between Regan and her dad. Their relationship, shaped by loss and loneliness, slowly rebuilding over time was incredibly touching and felt very real.

Overall, I enjoyed this small town medical romance which clearly reminded us that it's okay for dreams to evolve as we do.

Thank you to the author for the eARC, this is my honest review.

When Regan moves back home to Pulse Point to do her 1 year residency before she starts her dream job at a big New York hospital, the ladt thing she thought she would find was a handsom mentor who she can't keep her mind and hands off.
Brant is in the running for Cheif of paediatrics at Pulse Point Hospital, the last thing he needs is a major distraction. He has worked his whole career for this. But when he is assigned to mentor his bosses daughter Regan, things get complicated. He doesn't like being challenged, he doesn't like that she steals his coffee creamer, but he has to admit, she is a good doctor. Neither want to admit to their feelings or their attraction to eachother as it would complicate everything. Brant's chance at the promotion, Regans residency, but their relstionship quickly turns into anything but professional. Can they keep their "fling" a secret? Will they admit their true feelings to eachother before its too late?
A fun flirty story full of cheeky quips, emotional connections and sizzling romance.

I received an ARC Copy which was such a Privilege and I’m so thankful!

Regan - Resident Pediatrician
Brant - Pediatrician

This book was super sweet and had the perfect amount of spice. I felt an emotional connection with the characters, so many moments were relatable and heartwarming and I found myself smiling.

“the boy who learned to hide his heart because showing it hurt too much”

I also loved the growth between the FMC and her dad (the boss). Seeing a relationship breakdown that was from loss and being lonely and slowly rebuilding together is what everyone hopes for so I really loved seeing this part of the story. The message about chasing dreams and how it’s okay to change what those dreams look like because we all grow and evolve is something we can all forget at times and is an importance reminder to all of us.

Doctor’s Bossy Match is Paediatrician Brant Harrison and Dr Regan Thomas who has joined her father’s department for a year before heading to New York for her dream job.
Brant has been given the job by her father to mentor her and she is taking great joy in getting under his skin, from stealing his coffee creamer to making him find feelings he didn’t know he had. From the moment they meet sparks but it’s only a year so what harm could that do apart from possibly ruining his chances of becoming the new chief of Paediatrics…………
So what happens when itching a scratch turns into feelings they are struggle to hide. Will they take a leap of faith and risk their careers.
This book touched me on so many levels, I giggled and I swooned as I cheered this couple on. This is a well written, entertaining read that left me smiling.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Doctor’s Bossy Match by Sharon Woods was such a lovely read! This is the second book in the series, and it definitely did not disappoint. The writing style flowed so easily, making it a quick and enjoyable read from start to finish.

I absolutely loved Regan and Brant. Watching their friendship slowly develop into something more was so sweet and heartwarming. Their chemistry felt natural, and I found myself really invested in their story.

One of my favorite things about this series is the family and friends surrounding the main characters. They really add to the charming small-town, feel-good vibe that makes these books so comforting to read.

This book had me both laughing and crying, which is always a sign of a great romance for me. Such a quick, easy, and enjoyable read!

Thank you for the ARC — this is my honest review.

This is the second book in this impressive series, and this is Brant and Regan’s story.
Brant is one of the leading paediatric doctors, who wants to become chief, and he is assigned by his boss to mentor Regan, their new resident, whom he knows she is off limits, as she is his boss’s daughter. These two get off to a rocky start, and Regan tests his patience to the limits, as she knows how to push his buttons.
This is a well written slow burn, easy to read story, with family, friendships, emotions, tension, forced proximity, challenges, enemies / lovers, workplace romance, opposites attract, humour, witty banter, palpable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, and unpredictable, addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Doctors Bossy Match by Sharon Woods is a delightful contemporary romance that combines workplace tension and forbidden attraction into a entertaining and satisfying read. Set in the backdrop of a small-town hospital, the story follows the law abiding MMC Brant as he is assigned by the hospital director to mentor his daughter, the FMC Regan. At its core, I enjoyed how Woods used the classic grumpy-sunshine dynamic to create an entertaining combination of witty banter and constant friction between the MC's. Overall, Doctors Bossy Match was a charming, heartfelt romance that delivered the sizzling chemistry, emotional depth, and memorable characters that made this feel-good love story with plenty of sparks.

Really enjoyed this one. Brant and Regan’s chemistry had me hooked immediately, and their bickering/push-pull dynamic made this so easy to binge. Watching Brant trying so hard to stay professional while Regan kept tearing down all his walls was honestly so entertaining.

Regan was stubborn, smart, and impossible not to love, and seeing Brant slowly lose it over her had me smiling the entire time. I also really loved how this book showed that dreams can change as people change too, and sometimes following your heart matters more than the original plan. Regan finding her place in Pulse Point Hospital, with the people there and obviously Brant, was something I really loved reading about.

Overall, such a fun read for me and i’m definitely excited to read more from this author.

Thank you The Author Agency and Sharon Woods for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Doctor's Bossy Match is the second story in the Pulse Point Doctors series and my first from this author. It is well=written and a fun medical romance story.

Regan is working as a resident in the hospital near her parents. She is back home and is the daughter of the boss. Brant is a doctor who is in line to become the chief. He has been tasked with mentoring Regan. She challenges and he is not used to having someone like her. They have such great chemistry. Will they become anything more than a workplace relationship?

I loved how the chemistry was so good for Regan and Brant. I loved how their relationship started out as friends. I look forward to more from this talented author.

Thank you to the author for the advanced copy.

Regan returns to Pulse Point to work her residency as a paediatrician at the local hospital. She is staying with her father who is also director of the hospital. Brant is one of the leading paediatric doctors who is assigned as Regan's mentor. Despite a rocky start Brant and Regan soon develop a mutual respect for each other. Then the respect becomes more of a mutual attraction. However, Regan is only there for 12 months
After that she will return to New York. And Brant is working towards being promoted to Chief Paediatrician. Any relationship between them can only be a temporary fling. Which is fine until feelings are involved.
