This was a fast paced quick thriller read.

A couple have retreated to cornwall after the wife was brutally attacked and nearly killed by her stalker on christmas day.

Em (the wife) has lost her memories and her husband has been taking care of her and trying to help her remember what happened.

Now its the countdown to Christmas and thomas has brought his wife a beautiful wooden advent calander. Each door contains an exquisite gift but as she opens each one Em is having terrible flashbacks and feelings.

Bron (ems sister) has come to share the festivities with them and see how her sister is doing, Pete (ems oldest friend) is also spending Christmas with them.

Will ems memories finally return and the mystery to her attempted murder finally be solved ?

A great xmas themed read with some thrills and a twist you don't expect.

Escaping to Cornwall after almost dying last Christmas, Em has to face memories returning in the form of an advent calendar and past secrets and doubts rearing their heads.

This was a really quick easy read, and a decent enough thriller. I have to say half way through I started questioning some of the narrative and thought it was a little obvious, and almost gave up, but I’m glad I kept going as the last few chapters wrapped things up nicely with explanations. Definitely worth a read for fans of thrillers.

This was a nice, easy, and fun read—perfect for the holidays. It’s a shorter book, but it definitely kept my attention. While the ending was a bit disappointing and predictable, with a few missing pieces I wished had been explored more, it was still an enjoyable story overall worth picking up if you’re looking for a quick and mysterious Christmas read.

It was okay. Read in 2 days as I wanted to work it all out, but actually predicted who the villain was about halfway through so bit disappointing really. Did have a nice little twist at the end, even if it wasn't a major one.

Wow! That was a fantastic read!

It’s a little slow and tedious at first, much of the same cycle… but then it quickly transcends into something completely unnerving before BOOM! Chills!

Definitely recommend!
