A great xmas themed read with some thrills and a twist you don't expect.
Escaping to Cornwall after almost dying last Christmas, Em has to face memories returning in the form of an advent calendar and past secrets and doubts rearing their heads.
This was a really quick easy read, and a decent enough thriller. I have to say half way through I started questioning some of the narrative and thought it was a little obvious, and almost gave up, but I’m glad I kept going as the last few chapters wrapped things up nicely with explanations. Definitely worth a read for fans of thrillers.
The novel captivated me with twisted tale of love Masquerading as love ! The twisted plot and intense psychological elements create a gripping Christmas-themed thriller ! The writing style is detailed and filled tension . I enjoyed it more than I thought great thriller for Christmas!
This was a nice, easy, and fun read—perfect for the holidays. It’s a shorter book, but it definitely kept my attention. While the ending was a bit disappointing and predictable, with a few missing pieces I wished had been explored more, it was still an enjoyable story overall worth picking up if you’re looking for a quick and mysterious Christmas read.
It was okay. Read in 2 days as I wanted to work it all out, but actually predicted who the villain was about halfway through so bit disappointing really. Did have a nice little twist at the end, even if it wasn't a major one.
It’s a little slow and tedious at first, much of the same cycle… but then it quickly transcends into something completely unnerving before BOOM! Chills!
