An exciting and funny new murder mystery from author Niyla Farook, author of Indie Book Award-shortlisted MURDER FOR TWO.
After solving the murder of Mrs Kostas the previous summer, twins Ani and Riri have moved past tolerating each other to a budding friendship. But with Riri and their mum living in LA and Ani and their dad living in Yorkshire, it's hard to stay close. Especially since Ani seems to have gone off sleuthing all together . . .
When they all meet in LA for an exclusive trip to Deadwood Manor theme park, tensions start to rise. Why has Riri's best friend Adora, their older sister and her boyfriend come along when it's a family trip? What has caused Ani to stop sleuthing? Who is Riri always on the phone to?
Then their personal tour guide in the Deadwood Manor park is murdered and it's clear that the time for games is over. There's only one question that whodunnit?
A brilliant introduction to murder mysteries for Middle Grade readers - perfect for fans of HIGH RISE MYSTERY!

Review: This is book 2 in a series and I was so excited to come back to the world, spend time with the Ani and Riri and meet our cast again! This was just as fun as the first book and I enjoyed taking the adventure to Riri's homeplace this time: California
This follows a similar tone to the first book and maintains the same playfulness overall. You can tell that Riri and Ani have grown older and are dealing with different things this summer. We still have our common theme: Murder! I am not a big mystery/whodunnit reader but I do enjoy reading a few every year (or watching them) and I had so many suspicious that I couldn't really narrow down before the answer was revealed
I love the representations in Tickets for Murder, I think the way both twins experience their own ND is handled well and as someone who has two NDs from both the twins, I saw a lot of my behaviour from my pre-teen/teen times in them! I loved meeting the new additions and the new setting.
As always, I can't wait to read more from Niyla Farook, making me feel nostalgic for my younger years and experience the fun of solving a mystery in this Middle Grade Mystery!
I had so much fun stepping into the world of the Tariq Twins.'Tickets for Murder' by niyla farook is the second installment in the Tariq Twin series.
This book is a fun read. The relationship dynamic between twins is portrayed beautifully. Though they are opposite in nature they work together to make a great team. They both have different qualities and skills which makes this book more interesting to read. They both have a great sense of humour while tackling certain situations. The Neurodiversity representation in the book did catch my attention.
The presentation in this book was attractive and organized. The suspect profiles that were created were unique and interesting to read.It got me totally involved in the murder mystery and it felt as if I was also working as a sleuth along with the twins. The side characters do have their important role and they make this murder mystery more interesting 👍
Though this book can be read as a standalone but to elevate your experience I would highly recommend reading the first part of this series. This book does target the audience of age group 8-12 but as an adult also I thoroughly enjoyed this book😊
