Logan’s enviable career success as a talent agent is surrounded by tragedy. He seeks justice and will stop at nothing to put the man responsible behind bars for his cousin’s tragic death. Everything is under control until Rissa, the ballerina posing as his personal assistant, hands him her resignation. Letting her walk out of his life isn’t an option he’ll entertain. Not now when he’s ready to make his intentions known.
Ever since an accident ended her career, Marissa dreams of returning to the life she once belonged to. When the ballet company offers to take her back, it’s an opportunity she can’t decline. Only she forgets how hard it’ll be to leave Logan, the man she’s refused to fall for. Especially when he’s made it clear he wants to be part of her life.
As deceit, drugs, and lust weave around them, they’ll have to decide if the price of love is worth their dreams.
3.5 Logan has been waiting for an opportunity to be with Rissa. When she turns in her notice, he finally has it. Rissa is about to fulfill her dream by becoming a principle ballerina in an upcoming performance. When Logan makes his move she is met with confusion about the man she had always called her boss.
It is not a smooth road though, Logan is demanding in some ways. While Rissa wants to explore what is between them, her career is on the rise. Can she juggle both or will she be forced to choose? Sometimes life has a way of changing fate.
I'm not 100% for sure on this but I THINK I've read just about every book this author has written (other than Uniform Fetish, which is up next on my TBR). I didn't do it on purpose but I guess I just dig this author's style? Either way, Exclusively Logan's is Book 3 in the In Bed with the Enemy series and was another great book in this super fun and sexy series!
Oh boy, did I have reservations about Rissa! I thought, "A ballerina, Ms. Knight? Really?" but I should have know that I had no need to worry. Rissa wasn't what I thought she would be - constantly dieting and barfing in the ladies' room. I suppose that's a stereotype that I should get out of my head but come on, I'm only human, people. Anyway, Rissa was a good character and I liked her but I found one aspect of her difficult to identify with. She loves dance. She loves is so much that she doesn't really seem to mind working 12-hour days for five or six days each week. Now for me, I don't think I've ever loved a job/career that I've had where I could say the same thing. I was exhausted just reading about Rissa's damn schedule! LOL! So I had a hard time imagining that but wow, I sure was envious! One thing I didn't like, which admittedly, is a little nitpicky, is when Logan went out of town (country) for a couple of weeks, he had asked Rissa to call or text him, which she did not do. That really bothered me. I get that she's busy but it literally only takes 1 or 2 minutes to compose a quick text and send it off. She didn't have those minutes in a cab, on the subway, brushing her teeth, eating, before going to bed?? It made me really not like her for at least a whole chapter, which I guess isn't all that bad! LOL! The thing I loved about her though was her bravery. She was brave in the face of danger towards the end of the book and she was brave when Logan and his attorney asked for her help. To me, that trumped anything else she did that may have pissed me off. I love a brave heroine!
Logan was a pretty cool guy. He was definitely an alpha male and Logan wore it well. I don't always like alpha males - they can turn me off with the over-the-top caveman behavior. But I felt like Logan had the perfect mix of sophisticated, urbane, modern man and possessive, neanderthal tendencies. It was also awesome to see the hero in the book be the one that was pushing for exclusivity. I feel like it doesn't happen all that often so when I see it, I love it! It was sad to learn about Logan's past and the tragedy that took his cousin. It helped to make Logan feel more real and little less perfect. Although, perfect works for me too! LOL! The only thing that I didn't love about Logan was his drug use. It wasn't a major part of the story and is barely even mentioned offhandedly but it felt like it would be out of character for Logan to have anything to do with drugs. I guess he's a talent agent so he's around drugs all the time. But I felt like someone with Logan's character wouldn't relish being out of control. He's not a control freak or anything like that and to be honest, there's not much that suggests Logan would have a problem with doing drugs. I can't really explain why but it felt like it came out of left field. Happily, it wasn't anything even close to being an issue and never affected my enjoyment of the story.
Rissa and Logan are pretty hot together. I think I would have no problem calling this an erotic romance. The Sexy Time was hot and plentiful but there wasn't an overabundance of it. The Sexy Time that was there definitely helped to progress the relationship between Rissa and Logan. I thought it brought them closer together and helped Rissa realize that she couldn't, or at least didn't want to not have Logan in her life. While I was in the midst of reading, I didn't like that Rissa and Logan were so back and forth with each other. But now that I'm thinking about it, I think I actually liked it. It made them feel more real since most people have to deal with the difficulties Rissa and Logan had with scheduling conflicts and last minute work commitments. It was a lot of fun to go on the ride with them.
I would recommend this book to any fans of contemporary romance who want maybe just a hint of romantic suspense. There wasn't really a mystery since we know who the bad guy is from the start. The question was will the bad guy be caught and punished! But even that takes a back seat to what was between Rissa and Logan, which is why I could also classify this as an erotic romance. Even though this is Book 3 in the Sleeping with the Enemy series, this could be read as a stand-alone. Although I did read the first two books in the series, it's been a long time and I had forgotten a lot of the details but it didn't impact my enjoyment of the story. I realized after I finished the book that it was a little on the short side but while I was reading, I had no idea! It felt like a longer story to me because so much good stuff happens and all the characters and story lines are well fleshed out. I may not have loved the characters for the entire book but it ended well and I certainly loved this book!
Exclusively Logan's is the third book in the In Bed With The Enemy series. I hadn't read the first two books, but I still really enjoyed this book. I would have liked to have know more about the other characters and events surrounding them, but the author explained everything well enough that it didn't detract from Logan and Rissa's story. Exclusively Logan's is a exciting read, there is so much in it to keep you happy - an alpha male hero, a strong talented heroine, love, red hot passion, suspense and danger. I loved it!
Logan and Rissa have known each other for years, but as Logan was Rissa's boss he didn't pursue the relationship he wanted with her. Now Rissa has quit her job as Logan's PA to return to her career as a principal ballet dancer. Logan goes all out to pursue Rissa, determined to make Rissa 'exclusively his'.
I liked both main characters, especially Logan. Yes he is possessive, jealous and can be controlling, but he is an alpha male with a heart of gold. Logan has a history of drug addiction and has been working hard not to fall back into bad habits. He is mourning his cousin who committed suicide after she was raped. This has led him and his father to start a charitable foundation in his cousin's name. It is heart-warming to see how much he loved his cousin, who was like a sister to him, and his working so hard to help other women makes you fall in love with him even more. His cousin's rape and the trial of her rapist creates the suspense element of this book, it really draws you in and is an exciting read.
Rissa and Logan both have busy careers, and it is a real struggle for them to make their relationship work. Rissa also finds Logan's jealousy hard to deal with, especially regarding her ex boyfriend and current dance partner, Pierre. Their relationship is full of ups and downs, but the love that grows between them is strong. As is the lust - their love life is red hot and the sparks really fly.
Overall I really enjoyed this book, and will probably go back to read the first two books. The story is well written and flows really well - Exclusively Logan's gets five stars.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Exclusively Logan’s, In Bed with the Enemy- book 3, Evie Knight Genre: Romance, Erotica. Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews I hadn’t read the first two in the series, but didn’t think that would matter as they seemed to be complete novels in themselves. After reading this one though I’m not so sure. We do get to meet the previous characters in this novel and that was fine, but reading the story I just felt like I was missing some essential information – I felt a bit confused over the whole rape/suicide issue and the Ponzi scheme, and even now I’ve finished I’m not entirely sure whether they were connected or not. Still, the main plot over Logan and Marissa wasn’t affected, only at the end where there was an overlap, but my confusion didn’t make any difference, that part showed me and them just what was important and what needed to be left aside. Logan – I liked the man, but he was a bit of a steamroller at times. He’d been attracted to Marissa ever since she’d worked for him but held off, he has a hands off policy with staff. Then she hands in her notice as she’s the opportunity to return to Ballet – the career she loves and thought her accident had ruined. ( I’m not sure how realistic a return to principle dancer is for someone who’d been out of that world for such a long time through injury but...) Now he doesn’t have to hold back, and moves in for the kill. Boy has he got the moves – it’s not long before they’re involved in a hot and sensual relationship. They both have time consuming careers though, and things happen within them and with external influences that pull them apart unless they work really hard to make things happen. As an erotic novel it was excellent, well written and seductive sex scenes but as a romance it didn’t really work so well for me. Maybe if I’d read the other books? I don’t know...but somehow I just didn’t feel that this could have been real, it felt very superficial to me and I need to feel There with the characters, getting happy and sad along with them. Stars: Three and a half, a good read just for me not a great one. ARC provided by Netgalley and publishers.
Exclusively Logan's by Evie Knight is book three from her In Bed with the Enemy series. I have read and enjoyed many of Ms. Knight's books and this one is probably my favorite. The two primary characters, ballerina Marissa Vallings, and successful talent agent Logan Ashby, have amazing yet complicated chemistry and being a part of their evolving relationship was beyond compelling.
Marissa has always been a prima ballerina and due to an injury believed to be precipitated by her enemy, she had to stop dancing for three years. It was during this time that she became Logan's personal assistant. Due to their employment relationship, Marissa and Logan could never explore the heat that raged between them. However, once Marissa was fully healed and able to quit her job and rejoin the ballet, they began to explore a romantic relationship.
An ex-boyfriend, a somewhat secret ongoing rape investigation, and busy work schedules, all contributed to Marissa and Logan's on and off again romance. Logan is an alpha male and Ms. Knight does a great job of combining his sweet side with his protective side. In the end, they find their happily ever after.
I really liked this book. It is a nicely-written read with some suspenseful twists and turns that kept me engaged from beginning to end. All the characters are interesting, and I liked revisiting with the personalities from the first two books. Although this is the third book in the series, it can be read as a standalone. Overall, this is a spicy read with well-defined characters and an interesting storyline.

I obtained a copy of this book from Net Galley for review.
I enjoyed this story of Logan and Marissa.
Logan Ashby is a Talent Manager and runs his own company with the amazing help of his secretary Marissa. That is until she hands in her resignation. Logan doesn't want to let her go so he gives in to his feelings to Marissa and begins to persue a relationship with her. along with wanting to have Rissa to himself he is dealing with the loss of his cousin through rape and overdose. Marissa has been a massive help to Logan during this time and he uses her to anchor him so he doesn't lose himself to the way he was in the past.
Marissa is a ballerina and an extremely talented at that. but 3 years earlier she was injured and that is how she ended up working for Logan. Now she is offered a principal dancer role in a dance company and is to good to turn if down. So here comes her resignation from Logan 's firm to dance in a spectacular show.
With a new show & principle dancer cones her ex Pierre. He still wants her although he cheated on her years earlier. Rissa wants nothing from him other than a dance partner, but when they discover the show is erotic based they are forced together.
With a hot relationship Logan and Rissa have to work between grueling schedules to see each other but when life becomes to hard to manage and lies are told is their love enough to hold them together?
Rissa has finally quit working for Logan as his personal assistant to follow her dream job as a ballerina. Now that she's free, Logan decides now is the perfect time to go after his desires, namely, Marissa. They both have demons in their closet, and will outside forces work against them to keep them apart? Exclusively Logan was sensual and seductive, with a bit of suspense thrown in. I loved Rissa, I thought she was strong, and I loved how she didn't take any crap from Logan. Logan was alpha all the way, and while I liked him for the most part, his jealousy sometimes was over the top for me. Overall, this was an enjoyable read. I hadn't read the first two in this series, but Evie Knight did a fantastic job of explaining what you needed to know, so it wasn't required to read the first two. This will definitely not be my last book by this author! I received a copy of this book from the author and publisher through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Story between Logan and the ballerina Rissa. There was some unanswered questions between them since all I knew was about her status and him nothing more. with this book, I learned why she worked for him and why she quit. I was heading for a romance, again, but the story wasn't all about romance but also demons, guilt, dream. Logan, with this book, was showed as a possessive, work a holic, ... man. But unexpectedly, he got demons. I really wanted to punch him but anyway he didn't lost track. As for Rissa, she was in between dream and love. not that she jumped from one state to the other. she dealt with everything carefully, it was just fate kept surprising her. Plus, this book also gave some edge and add it with how Logan was intense. So this book wrapped up with the three bestfriends. What else? A.J.? Tanner? Ian?
I have been dying to read Logan's story since the beginning of the series and it was well worth the wait. I loved Exclusively Logan by Evie Knight and this book is my favorite of the series. The author really surprised me with his backstory of drug addiction and his continued struggle to remain sober. Logan and Rissa had great chemistry together, their sex scenes scorching hot and I so enjoyed his alpha attitude and him declaring, "you're mine" to her *swoon*. Rissa was a strong heroine and gave as good as she got and was not afraid to stand up to Logan. I loved the romantic suspense element in this book and seeing the rest of the gang again. I enjoyed the pace of this story which flowed smoothly and I did not want to stop reading until I reached the end.
Received an ARC copy from netgalley for a honest review. Two words come to mind after reading sizzling hot. After years of denying the sexual chemistry between them, it comes to a head when Marissa quits working for Logan in order to go back to dancing. Logan is a bossy man used to getting his way and Marissa doesn't fall into his commands without a few obstacles along the way. Storyline is entertaining and spicy with some suspenseful twists along with loveable characters. Overall a hot read!
I received this free eARC from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.
When I first started reading this, I was actually enjoying it. Logan finally got his wish to make things more physical with Marissa now that she wasn’t working for him, because he wasn’t going to go against his fraternizing with staff.
But then things started to go downhill for me after that. Marissa is not my favorite character. In fact, I really dislike her to the point of wanting to slap her. She was so self centered, which is fine. Be that way. But don’t drag Logan around when he obviously wants more in the relationship than she does. I mean, you can’t have it all sometimes, which sucks, but that’s life. And in life, sometimes we have to make hard decisions. Marissa didn’t want to make them. She wanted to somehow have everything, even though she wasn’t committing herself to anything worth wild with Logan.
And when the big surprise happened toward the end, Marissa didn’t care one bit about Logan’s opinion. He was willing to sacrifice Marissa, whom he loves, to get the end result and she was like, “I’ll have to think about it. I’m going to want to want this” nonsense. IT’S NOT JUST ABOUT HER! But in Marissa world, I guess it is.
I don’t know why Logan loves her as much as he does, because for 90% of the novel she was selfishly about herself and loved all of the sex that she and Logan had. He was the first one to say I love you and she said it days later, not even the same day as him. So I think Logan could have found someone 10x better than Marissa.
And sadly that’s why this novel has such a low rating – I just really hate Marissa. Also, when things were looking bleak, Logan decided to go back to his old ways, which I was very disappointed in.
So this book is not for me. I think some readers may like it, but after reading the novel, I can safely say that this book and I are parting away for good. I’m glad I got an eARC and I’m sure other fans will have a different reaction than what I did.
This was provided to me by the author for a honest review
This started out a bit slow for me mostly because was a bit confusing learning the characters. I haven't read the other books in this series and blame much of my confusion on that. This is a separate couple from the other books but the past couples did appear as well as what I suspect some of the stories too. I did eventually find myself enjoying this and got pulled into this world despite that. I usually don't like to read books in a series unless Ive read the previous ones I am gonna have to track down the other 2 reading the blurbs and meeting the characters had me intrigued. This book is about Rissa who is a ballerina attempting to make a come back as a ballerina. She started out this story as Logan's assistant and decides to quit that job to pursue her dream career. I liked that she was determined to continue to go after her career despite Logan being difficult quite often because of jealousy and possessiveness. Major alpha male! Over all this had a good pace to it and the sex scenes woo needed a fan! They were scorching. Panty dropping hot! lol for sure will be getting to know the others and can tell there will be another story..
I read this book as a stand alone and there are definitely some situations and characters from the first 2 books that do play a part in this one. I wasn't lost, but I think I could have connected more if I would have known how the characters developed within the other books.
Rissa is a contradictory character. She is compulsively organized one moment, then unorganized and flying by the seat of her pants the next.
Logan I could really give or take. He didn't make a big impression on me I think because the story itself was choppy so we don't get an in depth look at how he thinks. What I don't understand was the random references to him doing drugs, the situations were just randomly thrown in there and it was irrelevant to the story because it was never discussed again.
The sub-title of this series "In Bed with the Enemy" doesn't make sense because it has nothing to do with this book.
The story wasn't bad, it just wasn't great...I don't regret reading it, but I wouldn't do it again.
Though the plot of this book was meatier I was not very excited about the execution of the story. The pro-choice factor was highlighted but the drug abuse seemed strangely overlooked even though I feel it is a more dire topic. Too much of back and forth between the two main characters. Considering that Marissa is supposed to be the one who has it together and organizes Logan's chaotic life, her character independent of him feels weak and indecisive. And Logan is so scattered it's a wonder he doesn't run his international talent agency into the ground. Not very impressive writing.
I received my copy from the author for review. I had high hopes for this book, and I was slightly let down on the execution. The story seemed to jump from one week to another or months later without having any distinction except for a few paragraphs into a new chapter. I liked the characters, and feel if I had read the other books in this series, my rating might have been higher. I do feel I was missing out on some of the background information. I would like to read another book in this series to see if all of the stories tie together.
ARC received by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review An intense continuation of the series, with emotions and actions running high. It was nice to catch up with the characters from the previous books and at the same time discover finally what made the two main characters, the people they are today. A great read about dreams, tragedy and love.
an enjoyable read but i have to admit i didnt care for the main female character there was just something about her that made me go grrrrr but i did love logan.
