Jaeson's Mistress

Rate this book
Before the mask, before the bloodshed, there was one little girl who saw Jaeson Vale. Really saw him. While the other kids laughed at him, she sat beside him. Played with him. Protected him. What they didn’t know was that she was strange for a reason...she was a seer. A witch. And the day Jaeson drowned, she made a the world would pay.
With blood-soaked rituals and forbidden magic, she brought him back. Again and again. Every time they tried to kill him, she whispered to the darkness and gave him more.
But now Jaeson’s soul is trapped in the Seventh Circle of Hell, and the only way to bring him back is with a sacrifice—six souls for one. She’s hunting the descendants of the camp monitors who watched her only love die, and nothing, not mercy, not heaven, not even the Devil himself...will stop her from finishing what she started.
This time, the monster isn’t Jaeson.
It’s the woman who made him.

I'll listen to this book on audible. The author did a great job writing the book and the narrator did an excellent job bringing this book to life. The background music definitely painted an image for the reader's experience. I would be lying if I told you, I did not feel like I was watching a movie. Because that's exactly what this book gave. If you like thriller, horror, mythological and folkloric figure, this book is for you. I enjoyed learning who was Jaeson through Sable eyes. If gave you a different perspective of him. FYI: I had downloaded this book during BRAE, week celebration. It was worth read & gaining a new author to my list.
