Purchased by a member of the Galactic Assassins Guild, he is trained in many things... not the least of which is ending a life. Now, as an adult, he travels the Galaxy, doing what he can to earn a living despite the hostility of the universe around him.
Everyone has a Home World, but Henry doesn’t know where his is, how long he has been gone... or if he should return.

I was given a copy of this novel by the author for an unbiased review, and I have to say, I was not disappointed. We have a young protagonist, sold as a slave, enhanced by futuristic tech to become an assassin, but first, he has to find out his roots.
What this novel has going for it is speed. I like a fast pace in any novel I read, and this is no exception. It's dialogue-heavy, but that works to this novel's advantage, and there's just enough narrative to get the point across. The character of Henry Dazenhaus is sharply portrayed, as are all the characters. There are some hair-raising adventures along the way, with the promise of more to come.
Recommended to anyone who enjoys reading about a fun romp around the galaxy.

Space action that somewhat stretches incredulity.
Space assassin (don’t panic, he’s a, er, um, “nice” assassin), picks up a hitchhiker who pays by introduction into superior technology and a race that might have originated from Norse Gods. With his up kitted ship and some Norse type new crew (best not to think about it, just go with the flow) he now performs heroic deeds and ends up with some Norse Totty.
Utter nonsense.

Great opening book for a series
This is a great story. I have read all of Mister Drake's books And I have thoroughly enjoyed them all. His Displaced series Is my all time favorite book series. He does a very good job in this novel Of tying together space aliens and the old Norse gods. Get this book you will like it!!!!
