One tainted drink and the world drops out from under Cameron. His helplessness is the perfect weapon
Trent
Choked by fear and desire, Trent can’t breathe, can’t think, can’t run. His shame is the perfect leverage
Wade
Cold. Methodical. Patient. For years, Wade has watched and waited, calculating the perfect moment to strip his brothers bare—body, mind, soul.
It’s not love. It’s power, obsession, brotherhood warped into something ugly and wicked. By the end of the night, none of them will be innocent, none of them will be free. None of them will be The Good Brother.

Odessa Hywell is a taboo MM romance author with a book addiction and coffee problem, who lives in the Southern United States with her husband, their teenage daughter, who mocks her for being short, and way too many animals.
Aside from writing and reading, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and playing video games.
Her favorite season is winter—hello, snow—but in the summer, she travels as much as possible.
Some of her favorite spots are The Grand Canyon, Yellowstone National Park, Dead Horse Point, Moab UT, Gatlinburg TN, Helen GA, Silverton CO, Roswell, NM—plus honestly, a lot more. The list is nearly endless.
A few places she plans to go in the future are New Orleans, LA and Salem, MA during spooky season, Smuggler's Notch, VT during autumn, the Colorado Mountains during the winter, New York City, Washington DC, a cruise to anywhere, on a hot air balloon ride, on a train trip down the California Coast . . .
In 2021, she decided because she is married to a twin it was best NOT to publish her books featuring twincest and other questionable themes under her married name as her husband would not approve.
—His loss, honestly.—
If you know who Odessa Hywell is, don’t be a snitch. Like Benjamin Franklin said, “Three may keep a secret if two of them are dead.”
This is not romance. Know that before going in. You get many warnings in the beginning of the book.
Okay now that that’s clear this was taboo MMM brocest and it was kind of a mindf**k! It definitely left me questioning everything I thought I knew going into this. I don’t usually pay attention to trigger warnings but for this one I did. I went in with eyes wide open (or so I thought) and it still left me staring at the wall!
First off, this is NOT a romance. It is dark, it is twisted, and it is fucked up. These three brothers are toxic, and between them they have so much emotional baggage it's staggering.
This plot twist? Crazy. One moment you think you know what's going on...and the next you are completely thrown for a loop.
I really enjoyed the story, and wish it was longer. Especially after everything is out in the open between the three brothers.
I'd also like to mention that even though the the author states that there is no HEA or HFN, I personally felt it ended on a HFN.
Hopefully we'll get to see more of Wade, Cameron & Trent in the future.
First of all, nobody needs a friend like Jack, Wade needs to ditch that one. While this is not at all a romance or sappy in any way, these boys absolutely, clearly want and need one another. Loved the ending, kind of hoping they’ll get a full novel now that things are out in the open.
The author warns that there's no HEA or HFN ending, but it feels like an HFN ending to me since there was a promise of "next time" and that reveal of the plot twist.
After "Twisted Together" I didn't think Odessa would release another dark noncon-y dubcon-y (and a little sweet) taboo, but finally we have this one, and it's an MMM brocest (with one sharing scene). I was wary of the warning, but the ending went the way I liked and definitely gave me visions of more chapters of their future beyond the 7 chapters we get here. I need a full-length version! It may have started out one way with Wade, Trent, and Cameron, but after that twist, I can see this go the way "Twisted Together" did and turn into a romance if it was expanded.
I am a big fan of Odessa Hywell. I was a bit weary about reading this book after the warning about it not being a romance and not having an HEA/HFN but, I was also EXTREMELY curious.
While it WAS twisted and a bit warped. I was pleasantly surprised at how well written it was. I typically enjoy taboo books (especially the cesty kind) but I don’t normally care for noncon or using drugs to ‘subdue’ someone.
I was not surprised by the last chapter and it cleared up several questions I had. There’s still a thing or two that I wonder about but, whatever. It’s fiction. These brothers are sooo broken and manipulative and, frankly, they deserve each other.

A very smutty and taboo erotic read featuring three brothers. One brother blackmails another into drugging their youngest brother and a night of filthy debauchery unfolds. I thought it was going to be a straightforward non-con/dub-con twisted taboo tale but there were some surprises mixed in there. This is not a romance, there is no HEA, no HFN. Tho I liked the ending it did have, it suited the story but it is not a romance. There isn’t a lot of plot other than brothers and the whole twisted tale that led them to this night. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Highly recommend it to the lovers of the dark and taboo.
This book is a lot. As I was warned it is absolutely, positively in no way a romance and I was 100% ok with that. After reading this book I feel I must admit that it gave me some pause which was honestly extremely surprising because I truly believe that I don't have any hard limits, but this book came very close to proving me wrong. Still the writing is well done and the story intense. Is it hot? Yep. Is it Dark? Very. Is it twisted? Oh, my yes! Is it going to blow your mind? ABSOLUTELY!! Just remember you've been warned.
Wowza. When she said this wasn’t a romance, she wasn’t kidding. This is a dark dive into three brothers that have so many issues a canyon couldn’t hold them all. Wade, Trent and Cameron. Goodness. I don’t even know what to say.
You think you know where this is all heading but you end up in a different zip code than you ever thought possible. I genuinely don’t even know how to describe my feelings.
100% worth the read but be advised, it’s going to be a wild ride.
Cameron, Trent and Wade story was deliciously twisted and unhinged, with a long list of trigger warnings that should be taken into consideration. Manipulation, blackmail and desperation are a couple of the driving tools that made their experience possible, but when the moment of truth comes unexpected developments takes place as well as a pact for the future. I enjoyed the story and the truth brought a new perspective to the events.
This is not a typical Odessa story but I greatly enjoyed the dark depravity this went in. PLEASE read the triggers first because this wasn’t an easy read and I don’t usually get squeamish. These brothers are definitely broken characters, and there are no warm and fuzzy feelings. These guys are toxic and unhinged….and I would totally read more of them.
I agree with another reviewer who said F*** Jack. That guy could get hit by a bus and I wouldn’t blink an eye.
I didn't like this and it had nothing to do with the TWs or sharing or any of that. It just didn't make sense, everyone's actions, even at the end I found it ridiculous.
I didn't find any of the sex hot. I've read other books from this author and I know she writes some wicked hot scenes but I didn't enjoy these.
I also felt no love between the brothers and that's an issue. so yeah, I'm not a fan of this one.
As always with Odessa Hywell’s books they are smoking hot. This book was about three brothers and one “passion” filled night. All is not as it seems but it was very good. Three brothers seeking something together and finding that they all have fears and desires that they share. I highly recommend this book. Enjoy.!
Definitely not a romance, even more definitely dark, twisty and delicious in its own right. This one ended up absolutely nowhere near where I thought it was going, and trust me, it will pull you in all the better for it. Interesting in all the ways.
*I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Holy crap!!! This book has so many twists and turns. It is like a disaster happening and you can’t look away because it is horrific and interesting all at the same time. These 3 brothers are all depraved, twisted and sinful but in the end you see they may not have healthy relationships but they do care for each other even if they show it in a truly messed up way!
This was dark, twisted, and absolutely unhinged. Wade, Trent and Cameron are so toxic and entwined together it's hard to see where one ends and one begins. The way they feed off one another is depraved and the twist at the end was interesting and very telling.
Please mind the trigger warnings because this is not for the faint of heart. This was dark, depraved, and dirty but it was so good. The twists and turns are shocking and so fascinating. This was a wild story and I absolutely loved it.
Wow 😳. This isn’t a romance or HEA but it’s stated before going in. This was pretty intense but I loved it. Not sure what that says about me but it is what it is. It’s short, and literally straight to the point. I have mixed feelings about Jack though, but with the way it ended maybe it was known he’d be a participant. Please check the trigger warnings.
I read it twice. First time I thought it was too dark for me, but then I read the final and I was shocked I had to reread everything, it was a NECESSITY and O.M.G. I enjoyed it
I knew this would be dark and it absolutely is! Not a romance but a deeply uncomfortable exploration of power, control and obsession between three brothers. As always from Odessa, the writing is sharp and deliberate, and the sense of inevitability as the night unfolds makes it hard to look away, even when you really want to.
Seriously note the content warnings as this is not a story to wander into lightly. I was absolutely compelled reading the emotional manipulation and psychological tension. It certainly lingers long after the final page, leaving you unsettled and questioning everything you’ve just read. In summary a disturbing, intense taboo story that probably isn't for everyone! I received a free arc copy and this is my honest review
Brothers, Wade, Trent and Cameron have trauma a mile long. But, they have been keeping things from each other and when those truths surface, it takes one night for all to come to light. A story with manipulation, blackmail, dubious consent, unsavoury side characters and many triggers. Do heed the warnings. The satisfying ending leaves one hoping that these three get a full length story at some point in the future.
This one is dark and if you start it then you need to finish it. It’s a novella so we don’t get all the ins and out and whys of it all. just know these brothers have a complex dynamic. This book is dark and twisty taboo goodness.
Sometimes you just need a palate cleanser and this deliverd! I devoured this book. I loved the dynamic between the three brothers. “One night changes everything.” The toxicity between them was so intense and I couldn’t get enough.
Please remember this is TABOO. Check the triggers and remember: it is NOT HEA or HFN. 🩵
The Good Brother is not a romance and Odessa Hywell is very clear about that, but wow, these boys absolutely want and need each other in ways that are messy, unhealthy, and impossible to ignore.
This story is dark, twisted, and completely unhinged. Wade, Trent, and Cameron are three brothers carrying so much trauma it’s honestly staggering. You think you know where it’s going… and then suddenly you’re nowhere near the map you thought you were on. And let me just say that Jack is the worst and Wade seriously needs better friends.
It’s uncomfortable, intense, and emotionally chaotic in the best way. Manipulation, blackmail, desperation, all of it drives the story forward until the truth comes out and everything shifts. The ending? Loved it. Now that things are out in the open, I’m really hoping this turns into a full-length novel.
Definitely worth the read, just make sure you check the trigger warnings first. This one is a wild ride.
I don't know what I just read but it was amazing. The twist at the end. Let's just say I was not expecting that!! Odessa is the queen of cest. I will die on that hill! This is not a romance at all. So be prepared.
