Colorful, imaginative, and blissfully naughty, DEMON SPELLED thrust me into a Hellish world I honestly couldn't get enough of.
I went into this story knowing Gracen wouldn't pull any punches or fear any boundaries. THIS is what she does best. Gracen Miller knows how to send a chill down your spine- and pop your ladyboner in one smooth stroke . But she really out did herself here. The world she created in Baal is fascinating and terrifying.
With characters so darkly alluring and absolutely mesmerizing, I felt Gracen's magic on each page as if she, herself were compelling me. With each passage I was more and more drawn in. Transported. Seduced. It wasn't long before I was completely enthralled. Her characters are so alive.
I first found myself intrigued by the empathic Lyx, the more exotic of the two demons. He appeared to be more refined, more in control, and as a result, that much more frightening. But I later discovered my true infatuation was with Troz. Much of what you learn about him makes him easier to understand and connect with. And seeing the effect that Erica has on him... well, emotion makes mere mortals irrational and dangerous. Amp up a demon god and see what hits the fan.
*shudders and takes a deep breath*
The essence of the tale is destiny, but this isn't a starcrossed love story. No romantic skip across the universe here. Oh, no, this is an erotic tale straight out of Heaven and Hell that leaves us asking will Erica make her way as Troz and Lyx's chosen? Will she fight like hell to make her way back to the human realm? Or will Daddy Dearest make a play to "rescue" Erica from her self prophecied fate and finally claim her as his kind? DEMON SPELLED gives us plenty to absorb, much to ponder, and infinite fantasies. Actually, I'll leave the fantasies to Gracen Miller. Between her vivid imagination and her incredible muse, she brings to life worlds beyond my wildest dreams.
Starring witches, demons- their queen, angels, and more, DEMON SPELLED is right out of an occult lovers wishbook. I was thoroughly engrossed (and HIGHLY aroused) from beginning to end. It's a fantastic beginning to a scary, and yet, liberating journey for one not-so-ordinary human and the men of her dreams. It's definitely not one to miss. If you like your fantasy mixed with horror, your demons HAWT, and your mind and beliefs challenged, DEMON SPELLED is for YOU.
