Cole stands up for Luna, when she is threatened by her landlord. He instantly falls for her, not being used to such feelings. His father is the boss of the famly and part of the mafia. He tells his son to get married in the next six month, to continue the family. Cole thinks of Luna, having just met her. He is a ruthless alpha billionaire but determined to show Luna he is for real. She is an independent woman, struggeling to make a living and built up an animal shelter. Deep inside she wants to belong to a family and being loved, she does not care about material things. Cole is used to women who want to be with him because of who he is and his money.
When Cole and Luna find their way with each other, she is kidnapped and he feels guilty putting her in danger because of who he is. I am a fan of Hope Ford and I think she achieves so much emotions and a kind of depth to this characters and their stories. He is determined, but also used to the ruthless world (can not wait for the story of his parents and brother), she is a strong female but also loving, ccaring so deeply for the animals, but also trying to guard her heart, because she does not have a family and did not grow up with unconditional love from her parents. They have to learn to communicate and when they finally do this, they both are able to tear down the walls. Devoured the story, really am exited for the nect in this series!.

Oh my goodness, Hope Ford has entered her mafia era and I am here for it!! Crowned by the Ruthless Billionaire is magnificent. It is over the top and filled with everything we love about possessive, alpha MMCs. Cole spots Luna arguing with someone on the side of road, holding a cat in her arms. Cole knows he needs to get to meeting with his father, the head of the Kingston mafia family, and he does not like to be kept waiting. But Cole cannot seem to just drive away. And when he hears Luna’s problem, he does something so strange and out of character, he buys the building she is living in, although if he has anything to do about it, it won’t be for long. Then when Cole’s father gives him and his brothers an order, Cole knows who wants to make that order a reality. Even though Cole can be ruthless, and he has done some bad things, he is a good man, and he will do anything to help and save the woman he loves. I loved this book, and I know I cannot wait for the rest. I think Bennett’s book is going to be so good!! I have to read Robert and Elenor’s story too!! Get your copy today!!!

I really like this author and the variety of stories she tells, and while this one had a very cute story, I just wasn't feeling it as much as her others. I love mafia/mafia lite books, so I've been very excited about this one. Ruthless billionaire mafia men who are cold to everyone but their woman is my kryptonite. I loved how he protected her and wanted her happy above all things. There were parts were I did feel like he loved her, and the whole family who remains loyal thing was perfect. But I found the writing made the characters feel very immature. At one point the mafia boss, Cole's dad, even stomped his foot which was a bit off putting. There were a few things that didn't make sense or seemed to come out of no where. Like her boss berating her and then all of a sudden he's the dad figure in her life. And there seemed to be more push than pull in the love story, but the HEA was sweet and I did like the extended epilogue. No cheating or OM/OW drama, dual POV, HEA, an epilogue a week or so in the future and a bonus epilogue as well. I am interested though to see what happens with this series. Both the brothers and the parents stories have me intrigued!

This book is part of the Ravenous Royals multi author series and features an unexpectedly gentle mafia prince and a hardworking Cinderella type FMC animal shelter manager.
Cole, the MMC, was the real deal book boyfriend sharing all the traits required for my favorite BBs; obsessed, possessive and protective, check, check and check; heck, he even likes animals and was kind to Luna, the FMC’s, older boss. This is the only book in the series I’ve read so far but I loved it. It was super short and sweet with enough heat to keep me happy with a mafia prince of questionable character until he met the hardworking FMC and one look and he was done. This book is part of the Ravenous Royals multi author series and features an unexpectedly gentle mafia prince and a hardworking Cinderella type FMC animal shelter manager.
Cole, the MMC, was the real deal book boyfriend sharing all the traits required for my favorite BBs; obsessed, possessive and protective, check, check and check; heck, he even likes animals and was kind to Luna, the FMC’s, older boss. Crowned By The Ruthless Billionaire by Hope Ford was a thoroughly entertaining read and as a billionaire, mafia lite, marriage of convenience romance it had me hooked pretty quickly.
Cole Kingston as the billionaire and part of the Kingston mafia family spots Luna on the street in an altercation with a man and is compelled to stop and assist.
The mutual attraction Cole and Luna have for each other is immediate and strong and sees Cole compelled to help and protect Luna.
Luna recognises Cole's status and is wary that she doesn't belong in his world of power and privilege and is hesitant to accept Cole's proposal of marriage.
Cole is determined to convince Luna she is meant to be his and the ensuing time spent together only stokes the desire and sizzling chemistry evident between them. The twist of story seeing Luna in danger and Cole's subsequent actions and feelings all contribute to a great story with heat and passion that kept me turning the pages right through to the satisfying HEA.

Amazing read!
I really enjoyed this read!
Cole steps in and helps Luna when he sees her outside the animal shelter she works at while her landlord is fighting with her.
He takes over the situation right away and he immediately feels something for Luna and as the great plan to marry her especially now that his father if pushing him and his brother to settle down and have families.
It has light mafia elements, there is danger, and a kidnapping scene, but it was a such a good read, I throughly enjoyed it and I can’t wait to see what else is to come in Cole’s mom and dad’s book next and his brothers after that I’m really looking forward to them both.
I didn’t particularly like how long it took him to actually tell her how he truly felt about her but that’s just personal preference only part.
Highly recommend reading this book!

This story follows MFC Luna who is at the moment being berated by her landlord for late rent on her animal shelter which now has traffic backed up watching as MMC Cole Kingston becomes later for a meeting with his Mafia dad.
He intervenes and ends up buying the building from the disgruntled man after delivering a threat if he ever mentions Luna’s name again he’ll be un-lived.
So begins the match between these two in a fierce and steamy joining of Mafia royalty and a nobody, but to Cole she isn’t a nobody.

Not only does he save her from being evicted but buys the building so she can stay as well. When his father counsels him that he must get married for the good of the family he knows that the only one he will consider is Luna.

Luna is a smart, kind waitress that pours everything into the pet shelter. I think she really needed a loving support system since she doesn't have a family. Cole is a rich mafia boss but this man had me swooning!

Cole hired employees and construction to help for her shelter, donated 10,000 dollars every month. He all of did without contingencies or to force marriage on Luna I loved Luna and Cole together! They had instant chemistry and truly love each other! I Loved how the Kingston Family accepted Luna into their family! She was able to get the family she deserves.

Crowned by the Ruthless Billionaire is a quick, entertaining romance that blends grumpy billionaire energy with a sweet grumpy sunshine dynamic. The contrast between the powerful, emotionally guarded hero and the kindhearted heroine who rescues animals makes their chemistry especially fun to watch unfold. What starts as a practical arrangement slowly softens into something deeper, and I enjoyed seeing the billionaire’s icy control crack whenever she was around. But, his life, and heart, take a major shift when he sees Luna for the first time. Luna is being harassed by a guy while just trying to do her job. She works as a waitress, but her heart is with the animals at the shelter. When a handsome, commanding man stops a jerk from bothering her, she's intrigued but expects nothing of it. Cole can't stop thinking about Luna and how sweet she is. When his father demands that his sons get married, Luna is the only woman he can think of. This is a sweet wonderful romance between two great people. The secondary characters were the icing on the cake. Loved it!.

I had so much fun reading this book! Cole is a mafioso and when he meets Luna, who is a waitress with a cat shelter, he’s transfixed. Cole has six months to marry and he thinks Luna will be perfect for him.
I loved that Luna was rescuing cats. I’m a cat person, and pet cats need more representation in romance novels!
I liked that the book is mafia lite. It made the book focus on romance rather than crime.

3.5 stars read for me
I don’t normally read mafia romance, but I love a good Hope Ford novel. Mafia light is a very accurate description of this one. Cole is surprisingly very gentle, insecure when it comes to loving Luna, and the ultimate cinnamon roll hero. There are so many highlights in my copy of all the right things Cole has to say to Luna. Luna is brave, strong, and finally found the family she deserves. I recommend getting the bonus second epilogue one year later.
I am curious and can’t wait to read Cole Parent's story in “Crowned by the Broken Mafia King”, releasing June 2, 2026.

I don't know where Hope Ford has gone, but her books have become surface level, insincere and weak at best.
There is no chemistry with her characters, the story line doesn't flow, in fact I often find myself asking "where the heck did that come from?" We weren't even headed in that direction and then all of a sudden we take a sharp right.... And no it's not a twisty turny add to drama and suspense, it's literally a " I have no idea what's she's talking about" sharp right.
I'm devastated that she no longer puts any effort into her work at all
As far as the ruthless billionaire goes... He wasn't in this story, Cole was a lot of things, cold, ruthless, arrogant was not it.
... Maybe there's a sequel and there's another character named Cole?

This book is a part of the Ravenous Royals series and focuses on Cole and Luna. Cole is a no nonsense type of person who does what he can to help grow the family assets. When he is on the way to a very important meeting with his brother and dad, the last thing he expects to see is a woman having issues with a guy and getting involved. As soon as he sees Luna, he immediately feels a protectiveness towards her that he's never felt before. At his meeting, he finds out his dad wants him and his brother to get married to strengthen the family. Cole knows that the only person he wants to marry is Luna, but he first has to get her to agree. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

Cole sees a woman being harassed on the side of the road and pulls over to confront the situation. he is stunned by her beauty and immediately start fixing her problems. His father is demanding that he gets married and he knows Luna is the woman he wants. He steps up to help her with her animal shelter and they quickly move forward and she agrees to marry him. When she is taken, he knows that he is not able to live without her. In his world keeping emotions under control is important but Luna needs to be loved and cared for. She is overwhelmed with love from his family and that is all she has ever wanted. a great series with these authors.

Luna runs an animal shelter and works at the local diner to supplement her income. Cole is the son of a Mafia King. These two meet when her landlord gives her a hard time, and Cole comes to her rescue. When Cole's father says his sons need to get married, Luna is the only woman Cole can see himself marrying. Now he has to convince her to marry him. This is a grumpy/sunshine, Mafia romance with a good storyline, and likable characters who get their happily ever after. Crowned by the Ruthless Billionaire is a great addition to the multi-author Ravenous Royals series, and I look forward to reading the rest of the series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

This book is part of a series called Ravenous Royals Round 1 with authors Michele Mills and Olivia T Turner. I loved Luna. She was fierce, strong, hard working, and so sweet. Cole was from a Mafia family but he knew he needed Luna in his life. I can't wait for the other books in the series with Cole's family since I'm intrigued by them. The interactions between Cole's family and Luna was heartwarming. I love that Hope Ford writes characters that are perfect but realistic. Another enjoyable read.

This book was a pleasant surprise. I so enjoyed every single moment of reading this story. Luna is shocked when Cole makes an appearance while she is fighting with her landlord and helps her out. These two have the sweetest, and heartwarming romance. I loved every single moment of this read. Cole's family accepts Luna even with their whirlwind relationship but there is no denying the attraction and instant chemistry between these two. I so have to look into the other books that go with this family. This is a definite must read. Hope Ford has outdone herself once again.
