About the author

When I was a kid, I was torn between whether or not I was going to grow up and be the Incredible Hulk or Wonder Woman. I flirted with being a Jedi Knight for awhile, but I wasn't up for the intense travel associated with the gig. In my teens, I settled on being a writer -- although I had no idea the effort that would entail.
Not only am I a writer now, but I'm a writer in several different mediums. I'm a longtime newspaper reporter, an avid reader and a voracious science fiction fanatic.

Amanda M Lee is a talented creative writer. She comes up with the most entertaining plots that definitely keep me reading her books. Now for the BUT and it’s a BIG BUT…the martyr complex and whining of her FMCs is just over the top and so f-ing annoying. The FMCs just drone on and on and on. I don’t know if she’s looking for page or word counts or what. Amanda could definitely get both making her characters strong like their powers are directing them to be. I could see at the characters intro into their powers being hesitant but after, for example, this is the 13h (THIRTEENTH,) freaking book for the Stormy character, move the hell on and get over it!

Gotta love family

Stormy and Hunter are anxiously waiting for their dream house to finish so they can move…even more anxious with grandpa moving in and trying to shove them out of the apartment faster with inappropriate behavior.

You gotta love family, but doesn’t mean you have to tolerate bad behavior like Stormy’s crazy cousin Lisa. (Though it’s more fun when it’s someone else’s family, like Bay and the Winchesters who come to visit and help.)

So when Lisa is desperate to get back with her soon to be ex husband Linc, and there’s an unknown rampaging monster on the loose killing people, the path to insanity is short, because all the crazy see,s to converge and land in Zoe’s lap to address.

Zoe and Hunter, along with help from Bay and Landon and the community focus on finding and disposing of the villain, with some massive surprise hiccups too, so this is one entertaining ongoing saga that never fails to deliver entertainment and an absolutely worthwhile read

Okay, I have really enjoyed this series, but I'm kind of over Grandpa. Poor Stormy & Hunter have enough to deal with in this book, but adding Grandpa's oversharing and boundary pushing ways into the mix was just plain mean. Anyhoo, we get to deal with a new threat in town, plus the possibility of another awakening witch in town. A lot goes down in this book and the ending sets up a potential FUBAR situation in Stormy's family at some point in the future as things definitely went sideways here. Not my favourite of the series, but entertaining and fast paced.

What A Fun Read

This book was a fun read with characters from other series joining in increasing the snark and sarcasm, not to mention laughing out loud moments! Stormy's growing into her hellcat powers and her support from friends is just what she needs. Grandpa was a major player too which was cool because he beings the laughs with his role. You should read the entire series from the beginning to understand the characters relationships. Loved this book.

fun cozy paranormal mystery
I like that this authors long running series follows one couple they get together within the first few books then the rest don't generally contain relationship drama, they have other stories and the romance just continues through them. it's nice, I wish more authors did this.
Also I think Evan is quickly becoming my favorite character across several series of hers (they tend to cross over often)

Fun

Amanda M Lee's books always deliver. Excellent characters. Fun plots and new mysteries. Stormy and the gang have a new mystery. A dead body with what looks like burn marks is discovered after a festival.

Loved this story Stormy has a group of friends willing to help in a pinch. And where does Tillie get her leggings, they sound like fun, plus they would drive my kids nuts. HeHe! I can't wait for Hunter and Stormy to move into their dream house. On to the next adventure!😉💚💙

Another Top Notch book

Loved the book so much I finished it in a day. Interesting story. Love that Stormy is questioning her abilities less. Enjoy the little scenes with her Grandfather. Will be interesting to see how the latest reveal affects future books.

Hellcats

Awesome read, Stormy and friends have to figure out how a woman who was a nymph died and it is a demon or another hellcat and who in the family might be magical. Good read, characters and storyline.

Unwanted roommate

Magic, humor and murder. Love this series, quirky family and friends who are like family. Was the murder by a human or a paranormal? No cliffhanger and hea.
