I'm gonna give this book 4,5 stars. It's capturing from start to finish and makes it really hard for you to put it down.

I love the relationship between Jesse and Rosie and how it's built from deception and some half truths. Jesse is you're typical golden boy from the outside but really he is a dark and twisted man, who will do anything to keep his obsession aka Rose. Rose or Rosie is the quiet girl that tries her best to stay invisible and maybe find a man that will see her for her brain and not her body first. But it's dangerous to wise for something like that especially if you're perfect match is Jesse and he will enjoy keeping you in a room for 30 days.

Themes in this book are stalking, abduction, live video feed, some really hot sexy times, some spanking, a little bit of rope, d/s kinda relationship, falling in love with the villain, fighting for you woman and making sure she it yours.

Uhm, where has this book been hiding??? The tension and banter between Jesse & Rosie lit me on fire from the very first chapter and I. Am. Still. Sizzling.

His obsession, her defiance, amazing.

I was laughing. I was clapping for them both to win. This book had a fun plot and top tier chemistry & spice.

I'll be recommending this book until I'm blue in the face because wtf?? Can I marry them? Can I lock them both in that manuscript room and just watch them for the rest of my life? Omg.

This is my first read with this new author and I'm glad I read this book!

Jesse was the golden boy in college with a dark and twisted side lurking underneath. His obsession with Rosie began so he could win a place with a secret society to plan for a wealthy future. Rosie is not a push over and she gave Jesse a harder time than he thought she would.

This book kept me turning the pages and I finished it in one setting! Ready to start reading book two!

Jesse is laser focused. This guy has a plan and will succeed at all costs. Rosie is the target. The Society has its rules, clear and precise. What makes this story even more intriguing are the outside influences that causes Jesse to make adjustments. Will Rosie remain willfully outspoken, a brat in her own right? Or will she submit with a retort lodged in her brain stuck in her throat, or break completely... This story is absolutely beautiful in its dark rendition of a forced let me love you my way. I can't get enough of these two!

So everyone in this book needs therapy. Like intensive therapy. And while I a lot of this book asks the reader to stretch what is some plot holes and logic jumps I didn’t dnf it so it’s getting three stars. Was the ending rushed and ridiculous? Yes. Was the whole premise ridiculous yes! So I mean it stayed consistent. The Stockholm syndrome hit hard but I guess it hit me hard too cause I kept reading. Overall though not great just not so bad in terms of writing I had to put it down.

This book will catch your attention and keep it. It is a dark romance where he falls first and does his homework on her and then keeps her locked up for his enjoyment and to try and win her over. He looks like a golden boy with a dark interest internally. She is not a center of attention type of girl and the banter that goes on between the two. Looking forward to the next book.

Joss Anderson is a new author for me. I thought I'd take a chance on this one and I'm so glad I did. What a great storyline. Joss definitely held me captive throughout the entire story. The characters are well developed. Jesse and Rosie heat up the pages in a story you don't want to miss.
