When Brianna loses her job, she doesn’t expect her old friend Riley to offer her a lifeline, let alone one that involves standing in front of a group of curious, inexperienced young men… and teaching them about desire. Riley is a teacher who’s always been respectful. But as the lessons push boundaries, and Brianna finds herself awakening in ways she hadn’t anticipated, lines begin to blur. Is this just a favour between friends… or the start of something deeper? A slow-burning, emotionally charged exploration of trust, intimacy, and the tension between knowledge and craving, Bare invites you into a story that is as tender as it is bold.
For a debut novelette by an indie author, I thought this story was well-written and sweet. A quick and easy read. A bit spicy, but different from other books in the same genre. Respectful, daring and interesting. I look forward to reading the next two novelettes by the same author.
This novella is a quick and captivating read! I loved the confidence of the FMC, as well as the tension between the characters. I was in a reading slump and I felt energized after reading this book; I read it one sitting. I am looking forward to reading the next 2 novellas as well (they are standalones). Definitely give this novella and author a read!
