Ugh, Averi
This is my first time reading this author. I actually enjoyed the fact that she held my interest for 500 pages. I enjoyed the characters so much but Averi is the problem here. Like girl why you so dumb and confused. Everyone else was on the money. I wish we got more time with Zeek and Averi happy.

This book is so tea y’all. It was so messy the drama was nonstop. Zeek and Averi were a hot mess but I loved every second of it. This was such a good read.

Let me say I’m going to really try and not make this long but I can’t promise anything 🫣. There’s so much to talk and discuss about this read. First off, let me say this read was good from page one to the final page. Know that being delusional is real, something’s are just not meant and being in love with 2 people. Oh and a 🥷🏽 gone be a 🥷🏽! Let’s chat!!!
My girl Averi is that girl. Her vibe and energy is it for me. She a beautiful BBW who knew her worth but please don’t underestimate her - she got them hands🤭. Ya girl honestly didn’t want for nothing but her parents. Dealing a drug addicted of a parent is not easy, believe me I know🫣. My heart went out to Averi as she had no clue why her mother left her until she was much older but she made the best of her life. The friendship with her and Lyricah was everything to me. My girls had no issue tag teaming if needed🤭. True definition of I got your back & your front. Family tragedy brings Averi back home but what she wasn’t ready for was her high school love Hendrix and meeting Zeek🤭. Let me tell you, the confidence she had about self was top tier. All the woman was hating on her cause she looked better than them. Then when she caught the eye of Zeek, listen that cat & mouse game became real. Now the cat & mouse was cute but it started waking my nerves along with her🤭. Some of my girl actions were not needed. However, ya boy was breaking them walls down and she was with his. That chemistry between them was real and spice was 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. Oh but the way she got herself caught up in a love triangle that included Hendrix😔. Then the shenanigans Hendrix did and attempted to pull had me hotter than fish grease😔! When I say I can keep going, I promise I can. My girl went and dealt with a lot but still ended up standing strong in the end.
Zeek is that “you better” 🥷🏽! That one that would say “I wish you might”🤭! He was a made that controlled his feeling. Though he was now legit, he still not the one to play with. I love how he was his brother keeper. If you seen one, you seeing the other. I wasn’t feeling him at first as he was a true donkey (you know the word🤭). He was the no relationship type, had a type and believed he couldn’t settle down. Umm he just hadn’t met that one but when he did meet her - Averi, my girl left him smitten🥰! Not only left him smitten but had him rethinking his type because BBW wasn’t it until her. I think he fell for her thickness cause it different for him but he also met his match. Her mouth matched his and she didn’t back down🤭. Not just that, she seen him for him and nothing more🥰. The way he became her protector and allowed his feelings to show was it for me. Them other birds work my nerves especially Aeryn. She just couldn’t catch a clue but Zeek taught her a lesson. The same with Zeek, there’s so much more to say but time is what was needed for Zeek.
This firecracker here Lyricah, played no games about her best friend Averi and he man Zeno🥰. You come for them, you coming home her too. She and Averi had not a single issue with tag teaming you 🤭. Her and Zeno was that couple people would look up to as relationship goals but secrets damages that bond that I honestly didn’t think they would come back from 😔. I honestly was with my girl when them secrets dropped. It was a domino effect of secrets. Now I will not say she did work the nerves because she did at one point and honestly she worked Zenos too🤭!
Zenos was that silent but serious one. He was that Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde of the two brothers🫣! Being the oldest out the two he played no games when it came Zeek! He was also his brother keeper 🫶🏽! I loved that he had no issue with expressing or showing his feelings for Lyricah 🥰. As I mention they had that relationship goal type of love. However that Nya, listen she is delusional🤭, however she held two secret that Zeno never told Lyricah. When the first secret dropped I was just as mad as Zeno but that second secret, I was ready to give out these hands cause IKYFL😒! One thing for sure, Zeno was not coming off Lyricah even if you paid him too. This woman was ya boy soulmate🥰!
Nya, this rag a muffin chick worked every nerve and reserve nerve that I have. She lucky I love my edges or I wouldn’t have them either🤭. This chick just couldn’t catch a clue if you paid her to. She was the true definition of trifling and desperate 🤣! Not only that, the way she acted when her son was with her, like girl is you cool😒! One thing she wasn’t ready for was Lyricah. My girl clapped back every time she came at her or Zeno side ways. Oh but when she drop them secrets, she just knew she was getting Zeno back. Yeah that face was cracked on the ground🤣. When all is said and done, she had to tuck that tail, humble herself and bow out gracefully.
Now this chick here Aeryn. This chick couldn’t catch a hit or a clue if you paid her too🤣. Like how dickmatized can you be. Popping up where she didn’t belong, she got them hands but when she involved the man, she sealed her own fate🫣. Then you flirting with the oops. Now I don’t know what she thought but she should’ve known she wasn’t exempt🤭. When I say this chick was lost, she was just that. When her time ran out and consequences were about to be served, Florence came to the rescue but that secret Florence dropped left me so speechless I had to put the book down for a minute 🤭! I had re-read that part again. Know moving and reacting off emotion is never good. The outcome can become one you can’t come back from😔!
Oh Freddy, this man just thought he had the upper hand but forgot who put him on🫣. Being the ops doesn’t end well and he thought he had it all figured out. Can’t forget Lizzy! My girl felt played and rightfully so. I respect what she was trying to do but girl don’t be slow🤣!
Last but not least Florence. Not much on her but she had secrets that silenced all parties involved. How do you have children and NO one knows about them. Sad part the secret would never allow the parties to bond😔. Though I’m happy she got herself together and even more pleased that overtime Averi allowed her into her space, she was still wrong with her actions.
Almost forgot Hendrix. Now I honestly thought he was actually a good guy but he ended showing he was a bum with a habit🤣! He wrote too many checks he can’t cash and well he tried the wrong one. Ya boy messed around and found out🤭!
Yasmine just trying to get in where she fits in and the sad part she doesn’t fit in. Now I’m going to say Zeek wasn’t feeling her but in reality was just a filler for so his heart belonged to. Poor stink stink🤭!!!
This read was a page turner from start to finish. I think I read before but don’t completely recall. T.Michelle doesn’t disappoint at all and didn’t with this read. Can’t wait to see what she brings for 2026… Have to say, I ended 2025 with an amazing read…

Twist and turn
It was lot of twist and turn almost gave up on this book
I kinda tired of Them fighting there feelings for one another
All alone Hendrix wasn't who she needed either
Nya finally woke up and realized that Zeno didn't want her but it took her friend to die to get her Life together Constrate on being a mother but you also left me with a? Is Zeno really her baby father because she said in own head about Lyricha having is first only baby
Zeek knew he want Averi
They both were getting on nerves he should have never gotten back in relationship with Yas knowing he was not over Averi
And I would have made Zeek get us a house because had to many women that Access to that house
But other than that it's was good love story

Yes Maam !!
yes yes yes T.Michelle-this was good and messy but I enjoyed all the characters and the storylines messy spicy and a hea . Also I love when the fmc can throw hands and let others know she is not to be played with !!! I ate this up in one day as usual.
