This author always writes incredible stories about terribly dysfunctional families. The families appear to be relatively “normal” on the outside, but as they interact with each other and the outside world, you see everyone charging in different directions. As the title of the book tells you, the further you read into the story the more the factions seem to be heading into a huge crash. This book is a page-turner and you need to keep reading just to see what in the world could possibly happen next. I do recommend it if you enjoy diving into a situation that seems totally impossible to get out of. Lots of twists and turns.

Danni is taking time off work, and her mother wants her to come home for a visit. Something is going on at the insurance company her mother shares ownership. She asks Danni to look into things at the office. Someone tries to run Danni over with a car. A very suspenseful novel with a heart pounding conclusion.

This is another cracking thriller from this fantastic author who never fails to produce. As other readers have noted you don’t get to discover the truth right till the very end. This one was full of twists and turns as you would expect, but I didn’t see the ending coming, not at all. I loved it. Cannot wait for the next one. Highly recommended.

Collision Course is another fantastic read from Maggie Thom. It is full of diverse characters intertwined in a twisty thriller. The mystery is only fully unraveled at the very end. If this sounds like your kind of book, don't hesitate to purchase. You won't regret it. Jim Craig
