This volume has one of my favorite flashbacks, one of my favorite Elbaph moments, but also some of my least favorite Elbaph moments. Without the latter, this would've easily been a 5/5.

I'm just going to leave an essay on what I have thought about One Piece till this moment.
I originally hated One Piece, if you told me 2 months ago that I would be saying “One Piece is possibly one of the best stories ever created,” I would not believe you. I read One Piece out of curiosity to see why it was popular. I assumed it was one of those shows people simply had to grow up on to like it. Additionally, I had never read any manga that’s even more than 500 chapters, so it was going to be a challenge for me. I felt as if I read over 1000 chapters of a story, it better be really good. That forced my expectations for One Piece to be even higher. If I did not read 1000+ chapters and learned how to fly by the end of it, then was it even worth my time?
But honestly I learned something better than flying. That was freedom.
For brief explanation, One Piece is a story written by Eiichiro Oda about finding the legendary treasure that was left behind, Gol D. Rodger, the previous pirate king. Whoever it becomes the new pirate king, but no one has any clue what the treasure is nor how to exactly find it. Pirates have to explore different islands in order to discover clues. Devil fruits are fruits that grant an individual power if they eat it, but it removes their ability to swim (this is a huge weakness as most of the One Piece planet is made out of water). Haki is a power system later introduced that is quite literally a form of aura achieved through hard work. There are different types of Haki, but it is not super relevant.
One Piece is about learning to be free. We are introduced into a universe that tells a story of pirates versus the marines. The marines represent the world government, and the pirates are more so representative of societal curiosity, resistance groups, or some pirate groups do have malicious intentions, just like people in the real world we see today. Our protagonist Luffy is someone who always has hope in others, and he’s disappointed and angry when others mistreat or do the wrong thing. He embodies true freedom by his lack of structure. There is no plan on how he’s going to become the pirate king. He simply just wants to adventure. Being is enough to achieve. There is no need to have to have a plan, as long as you live truly everyday as who you are, and you live by what you think is right, you can get anywhere.
One Piece covers a series of political topics, such as the dangers of nepotism, and why positions should be given by merit and not connection. People are cruelly punished by the system and given false promises for freedom by those who were not supposed to be in the system to begin with. Sure it is an adventure story for kids, but also a warning for when they grow up. It teaches you about the reality of human history and our world when you’re transitioning from childhood to adulthood. Additionally, I believe that’s why OP’s manner of being so ridiculous with the art style and the mannerisms in the manga works so well. It’s a story filled with hope to remind you that’s how your attitude should be against the corruption of the world if you truly want to be free.
Furthermore, it speaks about the bad habits of always viewing things from a materialistic perspective. Growing up having to always consider things from a value point of view, absolutely destroying a child's sense. It shows that a system like this makes us feel bad for not being fortunate, it makes the material world force its way to reflect your morals. “Am I not good enough because I do not have enough money to help those that I love? Does this make me a bad person?” Additionally, asking for help and relying on others becomes a huge message. Asking for help is not a weakness, it's a
strength. It's the strength that proves to others that there are people around you who love you and believe in you. One Piece solidifies morals are people based, morals show by choices you can make and not when you are battling the system.
One Piece also expresses that if it takes you to pretend to be better than you are to become better, then fake it till you make it. It's okay to accept that you in fact are not the best, or the strongest, it's okay to be scared and a coward. Even if you literally need to mask who you are to feel better and more confident in your abilities. It's OK to be scared.
To continue, One Piece has huge messaging on basic needs and human rights. Characters are willing to feed criminals and even possible enemies, because they believe eating is not a need that should be discriminated against. No matter the background, the status, or what someone did, they deserve food. Even the worst human being deserves basic needs. Where do we draw the line on business and greed when people's lives are at stake? Why does royalty matter in any way when lives are at stake? How detached from the world must one be to be arguing over if human beings like yourself deserve easy access to what could potentially save them?
A lot of sagas in One Piece show how the government likes to frame issues being caused by people when in reality it is instigated by the government itself, and not the people. When tactics such as fear, money, power are used over the people rather than love, passion, hope, and justice, there is no freedom. All those four positive qualities that were named is what Luffy represents and why he is free.
Additionally, one of my favorite sagas about One Piece teaches about letting go and handling your feelings when it seems to be that the world is against you. Letting go does not mean to forget your past or the issue that torments you, but rather acknowledging it, and moving on. Life will not progress if you do not choose to let go of issues, people, and past. People throughout history are made to believe by the world that they should die, that they are evil, and that they do not deserve to live. But is it fair for a government to decide who gets to exist? Who gets to speak about certain topics? If the
knowledge is out there and true, who is the government to stop the people from knowing their own world, culture, and history? Is it not a natural right to know the past of those who came before us? Standing up to the government is not only important for your own rights, voicing your concerns of what is going on in the world not only shows who you are, but it saves people who feel as if they should not exist, as if they are denied from the world itself, it makes them feel like they want to be in the sea freely. Learn to let go that the world denies you, and to hold onto a crew that accepts you.
There are more singular characters that teach about certain subjects, such as pretty privilege and misogyny. It shows that the men in the world and government of One Piece heavily underestimate women due to the fact that they are women. Misogyny is a tool used to minimize the value, efforts, and identity of women, however doing this makes you blind to women's possible strengths.
One Piece also highlights the issue in prioritizing your bureaucratic identity over what you as an individual think. There are people who are supposed to have your back, but they do not because they prioritize their own social status and the judgment of others before their own. Who cares if there are protocols, who cares if you are on the side that opposes the general identity of a person in front of you? What matters is what you think as an individual and not a collective.
To analyze even more, there are many social issues within the One Piece manga that highlight issues like racism. As silly as this manga may seem, it speaks to real world issues we have today. It makes no sense that someone who was related to someone who was previously in power gets the right to be above others to the point that it degrades their existence. One Piece really focuses on the power of the collective, but also highlights how one should build for themselves. Luffy not being afraid to challenge authority by straight up punching people who uphold immoral rules and politics. Luffy has no fear in unmasking individuals using religion in order to keep people whose biggest crime is being different, oppressed. What is brilliant about One Piece is that Luffy is not the only one spreading his freedom around, when he gets stuck in a bad place, his crew come and help him. The crew that he saved and helped get out of the dark , is now pulling Luffy himself to the light. Shockingly enough, once you are into consuming this manga, it actually starts to feel really short.
Furthermore, One Piece includes an array of villains who believe they are the supreme part of the race. Once they know that they are societally supposed to be respected as a God, they feel entitled to that status to become true. Again, time and time again One Piece may come off as silly, but it is genuinely trying to teach us about reality here masked with a bit of entertainment. It highlights how it is easy for humanity to be corrupt and on different sides from pure ignorance and the lack of experience, but this also applies to any side. It highlights how unfair history is, yet shows people how easy it is to exploit history to be on their side. However, reform and differing opinions is always possible.
Lastly, nations highlight that often worrying about traditional customs is just ridiculous when the people who are supporting a nation can barely get fed. One Piece emphasizes that if someone is different and it is not harming others, they should not be at blame for just existing. You do not have to look like what you want to be, you can simply start being. There is no need for a set structure, as long as you are being true to yourself and the world, you will get to where you want to be.
To conclude, there are many individual critics to go around for One Piece, but it is safe to say that I have subscribed to the idea of freedom and hope. Be yourself, surround yourself with those you pick, and don't forget to stand up for what you believe. I think that will make us all the future pirate kings!

5 years after the God Valley incident, there is a rumor about a monster lurked deep in the foggy seas in the Grand Line who targeting the pirates. King Harald served to back up the Marine and World Government. Even though the war against the pirates become greater, there are still few pirates who rose to prominence and achieve the highest credibilities; Roger who become the King of Pirates. His execution did not stop the piracy but make the world fall into more deeper turmoil. King Harald was invited to the Mariejois. He was granted as a right hand of the God's Knight; God's Steel through the Shallow-Sea Contract. There are two more contract; Deep-Sea and Deep-Deep-Sea Contract. So far only 13 individuals have received that privilege and bound to serve the true 'God'.
20 years ago, King Harald make friends with King Neptune of the Ryugu Kingdom. 15 years ago, Mariejois was attacked by Fisher Tiger and he released a numbers of slaves including Boa Hancock and her siblings. In fact, Fisher Tiger was helped by a God's Knight. After the incident, King Harald meet the eye-wounded Saint Shanks who return to Mariejois. He received a rank of God's Steel. In Elbaph, Ida is falling sick. Loki knows that his late mother, Estrid's relatives were poisoning Ida.
ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1168
15 years ago, the people around the world starts to accept the giant race. The construction of Walrus School is from Ida's idea and now the children can play, laugh and study everyday. 14 years ago, Shanks suddenly disappeared after completing his last mission. King Harald meets Imu for the first time and granted the Immortality. Imu wants King Harald to mobilize the entire nation to form a grand army of warriors. The giants will serve the world along with the Marines. King Harald doesn't want to obey Imu but the Immortality he received made him to obey it. He summoned Elder Jarul and Loki to the Ouest Castle.
ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1169
Shanks lived with Gaban in Elbaph. After his escape, he told Gaban everything about the mark he and King Harald have. King Harald already join the deeper covenant and become the covenant of a full knight that blessed by an inhuman strength and immortality. They can conjure abyss pentagrams and enabling traversal across vast distances. In exchange, Imu's voice will reach anywhere and disobedience will be impossible.
At the same time, King Harald loses control and starts to massacre his royal guards. Loki and Elder Jarul trying to stop him. King Harald, in his half-consciousness wants both of them to kill him. Elder Jarul asked Loki to eat the legendary devil fruit that have been passed down through generations. Gaban and Shanks arrived to help Elder Jarul. In the chamber, Loki was attacked by the hammer Ragnir, which moves on its own.
ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1170
Ragnir is the guardian of the national treasure and it have a Devil Fruit power of a squirrel. Loki managed to damage Ragnir and its let Loki to have the Devil Fruit. The battle between Gaban and Shanks against King Harald continues. They managed to halt King Harald's regeneration by using Haoshoku no Haki. Loki coming back with his new power to fight King Harald. King Harald asked Loki to kill him.
ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1171
King Harald died in the hands of Loki. Imu disappointed with what happened to King Harald and wondering is there any powerful warrior in Elbaph, which bear the D. Aftermath of the battle, Loki doesn't want to tell the truth about what happened tonight.
Back to the present, Hajrudin and the Giant Pirates crew know the truth. They released Loki from the shackle. Loki back in action to defeat the Draugr by using the Ragnir.
ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1172
Gaban explained about the abilities of the three God's Knights. The current situation is critical. Zoro, Sanji, Chopper, Gaban, Road, Stansen, Gerd, Goldberg and Hajrudin have arrived at the Sun Realm. The Walrus School and Owl Library were on fire. Saul and the remaining Straw Hat Pirates resided near the library while Brooke was gone off somewhere. The possesed Dorry and Brogy were in a battle with the Elbaph warriors. Elder Jarul used the Den Den Mushi to broadcast to the entire Elbaph to tell the truth about Loki. Elder Jarul sparks in a fighting spirit inside all the Elbaph warriors to start a war toward World Government.
ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1173
Zoro join the battle and managed to defeat the possessed Giant Pirates crew. Dorry and Brogy attack but it landed on themselves. Brooke asked Gunko is her the Princess Shuri that he knows who loved his music. Gunko trying to resist Imu's control and asked Brooke to run.
Near the harbor, the pursuit team managed to catch up with the children group. A Nika from the dream appears. Gerd, Goldberg and Road used Gokoku Sovereignty to defeat the Nika and also destroyed the God's Knight's ship.
ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1174
As the ship and the sea clouds gone, the children will fall off and dead. Their parents ignored Sommers' thorn that encircling their children's body and hug them tight as they fall off together. They landed on the back of Loki. Loki turned into a giant black dragon that shakes the entire Elbaph.
ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1175
Sanji saves Robin, Usopp, Nami and Jinbe who being caught by Sommers' thorns. Sommers abandoned his mission and wants to kill all the giants children along with their parents. Luffy used Booming Dawn Thor Rifle to defeat Sommers. All the thorns were wear off.
According to Elder Jarul, the Mythical Zoan, Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Nidhogg wad a forbidden Devil Fruit within Elbaph. There is a legend about a God of War who fought with Ragnir, the hammer guardian. He also fought alongside the Sun God Nika and a loyal partner, the ice squirrel, Ratatoskr. After his master died, the squirrel possess the weapon Ragnir and waits for his master to return. Loki destroyed all the dream monsters. Imu realized that the Nidhogg Devil Fruit is in Elbaph all along.
ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1176
Lilith shows Franky an Omni-Drain Converters (ODC) since Elbaph is full of energy. Lilith suggests a new way for Franky to power himself other than using a cola. Nami and Zeus trying to put out the fire around the library and the school. Qillingham used his dream monster, Lindwyrm to eat Zeus. Suddenly, Lilith's ODC come to the place and absorbed all the flames. Lilith make a new power up for Franky, a vega-cola. Franky and Jinbe attack Lindwyrm simultaneously while Sanji attack Qillingham.
In the battle of the Warriors of West Village against the Demonic Giant Warrior Pirates, Dorry and Brogy get a hold a little from the Domi Reversi. They want to die with pride and end all these nightmares. Both of them beheading each other. They did died but their body is back to normal. Now, they found a way to undo the Domi Reversi.
ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1177
The battle between the Giant Warrior Pirates and the demonized giants are still ongoing. At the Chopper's group, Kashi faced his own friends and refused to fight them. Chopper turned into Monster Point and slapped one of the giants and suddenly the giant turned into normal.
Outside the Owl Library, Qillingham was defeated by Sanji, Jinbei and Franky. His body was tear apart and separated to prevent his body to regenerate. Nami is giving Zeus a small black clouds to make Zeus pouring a rain and set off the fire around Elbaph.

In the West Village, most of the demonized giants are nullified by the remaining giants and Chopper. In the Owl Library, Robin and Saul found out that the shelves were empty. Both Qillingham and Sommers were defeated by the Straw Hat Pirates. Imu returned to Mary Geoise.

Imu wants to go to Elbaph in his real form. The Gorosei opposed it as Mary Geoise is in critical condition due to the food shortage. They also cannot dispatched the Admirals to Elbaph as their hands are full.
In Elbaph, everything are getting calmer. Luffy trying to regain his energy by eating all the foods from the Walrus School. Suddenly, a black smoke pillar and a magic circle appears above the Ouest Castle. King of the World, Saint Nerona Imu, World Government Creator, One of the First 20 with an ability of Devil Fruit have descend to Elbaph.

5 years after the God Valley incident, there is a rumor about a monster lurked deep in the foggy seas in the Grand Line who targeting the pirates. King Harald served to back up the Marine and World Government. Even though the war against the pirates become greater, there are still few pirates who rose to prominence and achieve the highest credibilities; Roger who become the King of Pirates. His execution did not stop the piracy but make the world fall into more deeper turmoil. King Harald was invited to the Mariejois. He was granted as a right hand of the God's Knight; God's Steel through the Shallow-Sea Contract. There are two more contract; Deep-Sea and Deep-Deep-Sea Contract. So far only 13 individuals have received that privilege and bound to serve the true 'God'.
20 years ago, King Harald make friends with King Neptune of the Ryugu Kingdom. 15 years ago, Mariejois was attacked by Fisher Tiger and he released a numbers of slaves including Boa Hancock and her siblings. In fact, Fisher Tiger was helped by a God's Knight. After the incident, King Harald meet the eye-wounded Saint Shanks who return to Mariejois. He received a rank of God's Steel. In Elbaph, Ida is falling sick. Loki knows that his late mother, Estrid's relatives were poisoning Ida.

The construction of Walrus School is from Ida's idea and now the children can play, laugh and study everyday. 14 years ago, Shanks suddenly disappeared after completing his last mission. King Harald meets Imu for the first time and granted the Immortality. Imu wants King Harald to mobilize the entire nation to form a grand army of warriors. The giants will serve the world along with the Marines. King Harald doesn't want to obey Imu but the Immortality he received made him to obey it. He summoned Elder Jarul and Loki to the Ouest Castle.

Shanks lived with Gaban in Elbaph. After his escape, he told Gaban everything about the mark he and King Harald have. King Harald already join the deeper covenant and become the covenant of a full knight that blessed by an inhuman strength and immortality. They can conjure abyss pentagrams and enabling traversal across vast distances. In exchange, Imu's voice will reach anywhere and disobedience will be impossible.
At the same time, King Harald loses control and starts to massacre his royal guards. Loki and Elder Jarul trying to stop him. King Harald, in his half-consciousness wants both of them to kill him. Elder Jarul asked Loki to eat the legendary devil fruit that have been passed down through generations. Gaban and Shanks arrived to help Elder Jarul. In the chamber, Loki was attacked by the hammer Ragnir, which moves on its own.

Ragnir is the guardian of the national treasure and it have a Devil Fruit power of a squirrel. Loki managed to damage Ragnir and its let Loki to have the Devil Fruit. The battle between Gaban and Shanks against King Harald continues. They managed to halt King Harald's regeneration by using Haoshoku no Haki. Loki coming back with his new power to fight King Harald. King Harald asked Loki to kill him.

King Harald died in the hands of Loki. Imu disappointed with what happened to King Harald and wondering is there any powerful warrior in Elbaph, which bear the D. Aftermath of the battle, Loki doesn't want to tell the truth about what happened tonight.
Back to the present, Hajrudin and the Giant Pirates crew know the truth. They released Loki from the shackle. Loki back in action to defeat the Draugr by using the Ragnir.
ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1172
Gaban explained about the abilities of the three God's Knights. The current situation is critical. Zoro, Sanji, Chopper, Gaban, Road, Stansen, Gerd, Goldberg and Hajrudin have arrived at the Sun Realm. The Walrus School and Owl Library were on fire. Saul and the remaining Straw Hat Pirates resided near the library while Brooke was gone off somewhere. The possesed Dorry and Brogy were in a battle with the Elbaph warriors. Elder Jarul used the Den Den Mushi to broadcast to the entire Elbaph to tell the truth about Loki. Elder Jarul sparks in a fighting spirit inside all the Elbaph warriors to start a war toward World Government.

Zoro join the battle and managed to defeat the possessed Giant Pirates crew. Dorry and Brogy attack but it landed on themselves. Brooke asked Gunko is her the Princess Shuri that he knows who loved his music. Gunko trying to resist Imu's control and asked Brooke to run.
Near the harbor, the pursuit team managed to catch up with the children group. A Nika from the dream appears. Gerd, Goldberg and Road used Gokoku Sovereignty to defeat the Nika and also destroyed the God's Knight's ship.
ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1174
As the ship and the sea clouds gone, the children will fall off and dead. Their parents ignored Sommers' thorn that encircling their children's body and hug them tight as they fall off together. They landed on the back of Loki. Loki turned into a giant black dragon that shakes the entire Elbaph.

Sanji saves Robin, Usopp, Nami and Jinbe who being caught by Sommers' thorns. Sommers abandoned his mission and wants to kill all the giants children along with their parents. Luffy used Booming Dawn Thor Rifle to defeat Sommers. All the thorns were wear off.
According to Elder Jarul, the Mythical Zoan, Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Nidhogg wad a forbidden Devil Fruit within Elbaph. There is a legend about a God of War who fought with Ragnir, the hammer guardian. He also fought alongside the Sun God Nika and a loyal partner, the ice squirrel, Ratatoskr. After his master died, the squirrel possess the weapon Ragnir and waits for his master to return. Loki destroyed all the dream monsters. Imu realized that the Nidhogg Devil Fruit is in Elbaph all along.

Lilith shows Franky an Omni-Drain Converters (ODC) since Elbaph is full of energy. Lilith suggests a new way for Franky to power himself other than using a cola. Nami and Zeus trying to put out the fire around the library and the school. Qillingham used his dream monster, Lindwyrm to eat Zeus. Suddenly, Lilith's ODC come to the place and absorbed all the flames. Lilith make a new power up for Franky, a vega-cola. Franky and Jinbe attack Lindwyrm simultaneously while Sanji attack Qillingham.
In the battle of the Warriors of West Village against the Demonic Giant Warrior Pirates, Dorry and Brogy get a hold a little from the Domi Reversi. They want to die with pride and end all these nightmares. Both of them beheading each other. They did died but their body is back to normal. Now, they found a way to undo the Domi Reversi.

The battle between the Giant Warrior Pirates and the demonized giants are still ongoing. At the Chopper's group, Kashi faced his own friends and refused to fight them. Chopper turned into Monster Point and slapped one of the giants and suddenly the giant turned into normal.
Outside the Owl Library, Qillingham was defeated by Sanji, Jinbei and Franky. His body was tear apart and separated to prevent his body to regenerate. Nami is giving Zeus a small black clouds to make Zeus pouring a rain and set off the fire around Elbaph.

On an exceedingly rare day, when lightning and snow combine, a vast beast will blanket the sky with its presence. And with the sound of the Drums of Liberation the Sun God will appear!
Much of the last volume was taken up by a lore-intensive flashback to the God Valley incident. This one ties that history into the present where it seems Luffy might actually be about to square up with the final boss! Of course, Imu and, if the pattern of prior arcs holds, Luffy will probably have to try to fight them three times before he wins, so I’m not expecting an end to this epic quite yet!
Last time, we saw Dragon We also saw King Harald declare, with tears in his eyes, Apparently deciding the only option is to double down, he Oh, and does Imu seem to perk up at that!
When we resume here, Harald is smashing up pirate ships as part of his “atonement” – not that that gets in Roger’s way of circumnavigating the world! – the Navy is recruiting its first giants (like the ones we saw at Marinefort). Meanwhile, Harald As you might expect, this goes poorly for him, leading to the events that result in Loki getting blamed for his death.
There are some more crazy Shanks reveals as well! I also just liked this little wholesome reference to Ace:
Shanks: “What? Captain Roger had a son?!...In that case, I guess he’s like a little brother to me!” Gaban: “You’re not wrong about that. You and Buggy were our sons.”
There’s a lot more good Norse Mythology references in this volume, from Thor’s hammer to the dragon Nidhoggr that gnaws the roots of the world tree and the squirrel Ratatoskr that carries messages between it and the eagles that live at the top of the tree. But everything is mixed and matched enough that knowing the original myth still won’t let you guess what’s coming! It seems like we might be about to learn more about the Will of D via the people of Elbaf, too, because Imu says:
I had my heart in my throat regarding the fate of the Dory and Brogy the whole time, especially during this exchange: Seriously, I dare you to say those two aren’t basically married! Thus, I was as aghast as Zoro when it turned out their solution was - but it worked! Another apparent remedy: Chopper Zoro asking if that works because he’s just that good a doctor was adorable, but I feel like there must be a deeper explanation. Though, heck, maybe his pledge to become the “universal medicine” he sought for Hiriluk is coming true! Regarding the giant children and the library

Given that some fanboys seriously thought Sanji didn’t like Jimbei because the presence of a former Warlord of the Sea threw off his silly bounty competition with Zoro…I love that when a Holy Knight starts being racist about Fishmen, it is Sanji who immediately shuts that down and puts an Ifrit Jambe in his face!
It seems like we are about to get some interesting lore drops about Brook too, because he recognizes Gunko!:
And, in the outside world, it sounds like the Revolutionary Army’s siege of the Celestial Dragons is holding up – so that’s cool!

i'm a very new fan of One Piece & i just caught up with the whole story. please be patient with me. i will dedicate this review to my reading journey with Luffy & his friends.
i'm just gonna say that i'm so grateful to still be around before the Straw Hats find the One Piece. i got to read the political outburst in Alabasta. i understood why Enel & Luffy made those faces in Skypiea. i went through whatever silly nonsense happen in Long Ring. i got to finally make sense of what happened during Robin's "I want to live!" moment, which locked her position as my favorite character in the entire story. i went through the pain of the disgusting sight of the Celestial Dragons exploiting slaves by riding them like horses. i had to witness Luffy's anguish, for a character so jovial & full of character, when his dearest brother Ace died. i was invested in the dynamics of how prejudice works from Fishman Island.
i remember the intimidation i felt going through Dressrosa, my first 100-chapter arc. God, i ended the arc feeling so satisfied. then there was Whole Cake, & i got to see my favorite narcissist Linlin shine in her glory. of course i had to tread through Wano, of course i was intimidated, yet i appreciated every minute of the challenge. i was deeply touched by Bonnie & Kuma's story, which really shows Oda's reflection as a father of daughters.
look at me now, Mom! i made it to Elbaph!! i still want to live to feel the afterglow when the Straw Hats find the One Piece!!

This volume is a reminder of why One Piece is my favorite weekly manga. In a single volume, we get an absurd amount of unforgettable moments:

And that’s probably not even everything, I’m sure I forgot a few moments because there’s just that much packed in here.
One Piece hasn’t had a bad week in a very long time, and this volume proves why it truly deserves its place at the top.
Nothing particularly crazy was revealed in the SBS, but that’s not something I’m taking stars away for.

Finally getting to the semi-conclusion of the battle of the giants (not just Rocks, but the fantastic viking island of giants, themselves) was just as great as all the spoilers promised.
And the end? Damn it. Imu. Too many questions, never enough answers. And more questions on top of that.
