It Is As It Is: Diving into the Heart of Sri Ramana Maharshi

Rate this book
Sri Ramana Maharshi is one of the most widely regarded sages of all time. From Carl Jung to Mahatma Gandhi, Paramahansa Yogananda to the Dalai Lama, and from Alan Watts to Eckhart Tolle, nearly everyone who is interested in spiritual awakening has sung his praises. Why is that? This short book will serve as an introduction to Sri Ramana's teaching. Based on years of notes taken by Sri Mouna Ramanason while reading Sri Ramana's works off-and-on for more than the past decade, this book will serve as an enlightening guide in the times ahead. Drawing on diverse traditions, from the Western philosophical tradition to A Course in Miracles, this profound -- yet profoundly simple -- guide will illuminate Bhagavan's teachings and help many seekers to find their true Self. The author wishes to give all praise to the Maharshi!

A good introduction to Sri Ramana

I felt this book was a good introduction to Sri Ramana Maharishi's teachings. There are many specific teachings written by Bhagavan himself, such as Ulladu Narpadu, Nan Yar, Upedesha Undiyer, Aksharamanamalai. There are english translations available at www.happinessofbeing.com. Please read those to get more clarity of Bhagavan's teaching.
