The Knight Legacy #7

Percival: A Knight's Destiny

Rate this book
Seven brothers. Seven legends. Seven fortunes.

Named after King Arthur’s knights, each must marry by thirty-five or lose it all,
including the one thing that money can't buy—love.

Surviving the storm is the easy part.
She’s the real threat.
Because one look and I forget every rule I live by.

We crash-land on a deserted island—just us.
She thinks I’m only a pilot.
Not a billionaire.
Not a Knight heir.

She’s all sass, soft curves, and danger.
I try to keep my hands to myself.
I fail… spectacularly.

On that island, there are no rules.
No distractions.
No escape from the heat between us.

She presses against me in the dark, trusting me to keep her safe.
I memorize her softness.
Her breath.
The way she sighs my name like it means something.

For a moment, I believe we could survive anything.
Then we’re rescued…
and everything falls apart.

Her name hits harder than the crash.
The one woman I should resist.
Maybe we don’t stand a chance…
But I’m not ready to walk away.

Wow! I loved this story; from beginning to end it was full of suspense, tension, chemistry, love, passion …. Containing everything I’d hoped for & more, it’s a fitting finale to the series.

The story opens with the Knight brothers planning evacuation of their Caribbean properties due to an approaching hurricane, forecast to be the worst in years. We’re immediately plunged into the drama as experienced pilot Pak (Percival) evacuates heiress Samantha. During the raging storm one of the engines fails & the plane crashes. Stranded on a deserted island, Pak uses his training & survival skills to ensure their survival until they’re rescued. As they work together foraging, building a shelter, collecting firewood etc, they get to know each other. The banter between them is fun, with tense undercurrents as the chemistry between them heightens. On the island they only know each other’s first name - it’s a novel experience for Pak to be known & liked for himself & not as a Knight. When they’re rescued & return to Puerto Rico they’re shocked to find out each other’s full name & background, both devastated that family rivalries mean they can no longer see each other. Back in Jacksonville the accident investigation gets under way, & there’s continued intrigue & suspense as Sam’s father’s company launches law suits & complaints against Knight Enterprises. Meanwhile, Pak & Sam deal with the pain of separation; it’s as if Pak has to woo Sam all over again, which he does brilliantly with patient planning & strategising to rekindle their relationship. He’s so determined, it’s sooo hot!!

It’s so well written - I was afraid for them as Pak tried to control the plane in the storm, as they landed & salvaged what they could. I loved the way Pak switched into survival mode, calmly organising things to maximise their survival chances. I also loved the way Pak & Sam’s relationship developed, & how well-matched they were - bossy Pak had finally met his match in Sam who challenged him fearlessly. I loved the story; it is so well told, suspenseful & dramatic, hot - the chemistry between Sam & Pak is off the charts, with a wonderful & unexpected end to their story. With the series conclusion there’s a sense of having come almost full circle & I loved the final twist when at last we discover the root cause of the long-standing feud between Drakken Corporation & the Knight family. I’ve loved reading this whole series & I’m going to miss the Knight brothers.

Enemies trapped together

A great final book in "The Knight Legacy" series by Kelly Thomas; I've loved the Knight family and whole series. This is full of great characters, enemies to lovers, trapped together, drama, passion, action, with chemistry from the start, romance, wonderful banter, close family, twists and a lovely HEA, bringing together the Knight family and the story that's been running through this series.

Percival, or Pak, is the last of the Knight brother's to find a wife. He's in charge of the aviation division, though he prefers to fly the planes himself. When the family need to vacate a Caribbean island with a bad hurricane headed towards it, he volunteers to pick up the guest who missed the last flight out, thinking of her as just a spoilt 'princess'. But when they crash and find themselves stranded on a deserted island together he finds himself drawn to his passenger while they have to create a camp to survive.

Samantha Drakken fights her attraction for the pilot she's trapped with and I loved it when the pair finally gave in to their mutual desires, only to find out their surnames when they're saved. But as investigations into the crash are started and claims are made against Knight Entreprises, Sam and Pak are having to deal with their feelings. It was great to see Pak's determination in winning her over, again, and the revelations that follow.

The Knight family, as always, are wonderfully supportive and as with the other books in this series, I couldn't put this down, would strongly recommend & am sorry that this series has finished.

Thank you Kelly for this brilliant Knight brothers series.

A true Knight’s Destiny

What a thrilling and action-packed way to end the Knight’s Legacy series! This tale has all the drama and passion you need, with an interesting twist that very neatly ties up all the threads of this amazing work by a very talented author.

This book was a delight to read and though it mainly featured PAK - the last of the Knights, all the other characters were present. The senior Knights made a point of guiding the last of the brothers to find his other half in his quest to marry by 35 and retain his controlling status in the Aviation division of the company.

PAK was stubborn, wily and confident in his endeavours to make sure both characters survived and in his pursuit of the love of his life - no matter how taboo it all appeared to be. He was sure of his stakes in the game and knew what he wanted and the twists and turns it took to get there.
Samantha was a lot more than spoilt princess she was thought to be and though she was very hesitant to make a break and chase after her dream, PAK quickly pulled her into line and they triumphed together. It was wonderful to see that Sam’s home life was settled so satisfactorily as well.

I will miss the whole Knight Family and though I have been entertained and amazed at all their stories, I am sad that the series has ended. But I’m also waiting with bated to breath to see where the author takes us next!
I’ve enjoyed the respite these hours of reading has gifted me and I thank the author for giving me the opportunity to enjoy the arc and provide my voluntary review.

Percival is the seventh Knight brothers story and another contemporary romance that delivers a wonderfully entertaining read.
As head of Knight Aviation Percival’s concerns at the moment are not on his grandfather’s stipulation he must marry before his next birthday but instead on the hurricane barreling towards the Caribbean and evacuating guests and staff from Knight properties.
Then word comes that a female guest on St. Lucia missed the evacuation flight and Percival a pilot himself decides to fly in to get her out.
He manages to pickup Samantha but the weather has worsened further and their plane soon goes down onto an uninhabited Island.
We never know when cupids arrow is going to find us and for Samantha and Percival it does on that Island as they begin to bond while waiting for rescue.
What happens when they are rescued becomes an even bigger part of their story as revelations come to light that will definitely affect any future they may have had together.
Excellent writing and characters, along with intrigue, drama, danger, family dynamics, secrets, emotion, and steamy romance come together in an engaging and immersive read that kept me invested all the way to a hard won HEA.

This is the last book in Then Knight Legacy series, as he is the last brother in the family. I am going to miss them all, and Kelly Thomas writing (I am hoping for a new series soon!)

Percival is the brother in charge of the aviation section of the business (as a stipulation in their grandfather's will, they have to stay married for a year by age 35 to have access to the assets). He is on his way out of an island with a guest, " a spoiled princess" he calls her, as they need to evacuate before the hurricane hits them. But they are not so lucky and crash. What comes next will make you laugh, smile, swoon, gasp, and cheer for them. THey will have to work together to survive, of course they will banter, they will fuss, they will be attracted to each other, and passion will consume them. But when they are found, they will learn that they come from rival families, and now the struggle to be together will be bigger than the island itself.

Be reaady for intrigue, a few secrets, but also for his family to show their support and make him face his truth,

This is such an amazing read, and I am going to miss the Knight brothers!.

I love this book!
Percival Knight aka PAK must fly in to evacuate a guest who missed the last flight out of his family Caribbean resort that is in the path of a major hurricane. He thinks she’s a “socialite princess” but he doesn’t know she’s one of the last people on earth he wants to be stranded with on a deserted island, or is she?

Sam and PAK fight their mutual attraction , for as long as they could, while they are forced to set up a survival camp with water, food and protection from the elements. When they do come together, it’s so hot. However, they never share their last names or family details and when that information comes out upon their rescue both are shocked and torn. I love how PAK fights for his love.

What a perfect way to end this series (even though I’m crying that it’s ending). I highly recommend this series.

This is the final book in the Knight Brothers saga, and it did not disappoint. It tells the story of two enemies who initially didn’t know their families had been rivals for years. Samantha and Percival are stranded on an island after a plane crash, where they must learn to work together to survive. After three weeks, they are rescued. When they return to their families, the rivalry is finally exposed.

By the time I was 40% into the book, I was so mad at Sam’s father that I wanted to throw something—the book was that engaging.

This story is about survival in both the wild and the boardroom. It’s about knowing what you want and going after it, and about taking chances.

This was a book I stayed up late to finish. I highly recommend this book and the entire series.

“Percival: A Knight’s Destiny” by Kelly Thomas

-A suspense-filled series finale that blends survival, romance, and family intrigue seamlessly. I received a free copy and am voluntarily sharing my honest thoughts.

Pak and Samantha’s island ordeal sparks intense chemistry and meaningful connection. The drama continues off the island with rivalries, secrets, and emotional stakes.

A satisfying, passionate and mysterious conclusion with a well-earned HEA for the Knight legacy series.

A great ending to the knights family marriage dilemma and Percival aka Pak is the last to find his hea but it needed him to be stranded on an island with Samantha to get it. Can think of worst case scenarios to be fair 😜Their chemistry was on point, determined not to give into it until they couldn’t deny the temptation. A great read with secrets, revelations, heat and a great brotherly bondness we have come to love from previous books. Amazing series.

Percival, a Knight's Destiny by Kelly Thomas is the seventh and final book of The Knight Legacy series. Samantha and Percival's (Pak) story has drama, suspense, unbelievable chemistry and a very satisfying HEA. While its sad to know that this is the last book in the series, I can't wait to see what Kelly Thomas has in story for her next romance.

This 5-star romance book is the perfect way to start your day off by reading this book. OMG I thought the other 6 books in this series were AWESOME, but Percival is an A+ character that I fell in LOVE with. The storyline as well as the characters might make this book my absolute favorite to read in this series. So, grab this book by Kelly and let the swooning begin.

Absolutely F*ing LOVED This!

Kelly Thomas hit this out of the ballpark! Pak and Sam’s chemistry was off the charts. Having read the entire series, I’m sad that there aren’t anymore. Every Knight brother book was better than the last. Now that they’re all out I may have to go back and reread them one after the other. HIGHLY RECOMMEND READING THIS ENTIRE SERIES!!

The youngest Knight brother Percival finally finds his woman in Samantha. Their story contains plenty of drama and passion as these two go from unknown enemies to lovers, and even has a stint on a deserted island. Another fab read in this series.
