A mortal girl. A fae prince born without a heart. A love that could unmake them both.

Elara’s life has always been simple—wood shavings on her sleeves, a compass in her pocket, and a quiet love she never dared to name. But everything changes the night she follows her childhood friend through an ancient hollow log and into the shimmering danger of Faerie.

There, she meets Caelan—the Hollow Prince.

Beautiful. Untouchable. Cursed.

He remembers nothing of the boy she once loved, and the fae court has molded him into something sharp and distant, a creature made of duty instead of emotion. To earn his trust—and her chance to bring him home—Elara must compete in the Autumn Queen’s cruel trials, each designed to test loyalty, memory, and the fragile threads of the heart.

But in Faerie, nothing stays still.
Not magic.
Not truth.
Not love.

As Elara and Caelan are drawn irresistibly toward each other, she discovers the price of breaking his curse may be higher than either of them can bear… and loving him may mean losing him forever.

Perfect for fans of Holly Black, Sarah J. Maas, and Stephanie Garber, The Hollow Prince is a romantic, atmospheric tale of identity, longing, and the courage to choose love even when the world demands otherwise.

My Thoughts: Were the characters lovable? Absolutely, especially when I could relate to Elara's stubborn nature and Finn curiosity about life. The plot was somewhat predictable, but not in an overdone way and moreso in a you could kinda guess what was next. My only major issue with this book was the jumping around. Again, it is an ARC version. However, some of the chapters didn't flow well together and jumped around as though Linden Thorn stopped writing and forgot what their last chapter ended on. It might some sections toward the end of the book a bit rough to read but definitely not impossible. Overall, very excited to see how the final edition comes out!
